I propose that, in order to balance out Multiple Warheads and its fantasies of sexy ladies, you put out a book that is obviously just fantasies of sexy dudes. I mean, the joke is that it doesn't really work that way... but seriously, for a second, hear me

I’ve been drawing more sexy dudes lately– but as my pal Tessa Black pointed out, everything that both of us draw meant to be sexy dudes just ends up looking like Ellen Page with a pixy cut.

I /loved/ the first issue of multiple warheads. But! There were several moments, mostly involving naked sexica, where I paused, thinking, "this seems a lot like a dude fantasizing about a hot girl with a big butt. wtf. more comics misogyny?" Then I read an

Warheads is a weird series for me in that it started way back when I was drawing porn comics full time and I’ve tried to drag it along with me as I aim to evolve as an artist.

In the collected Warheads I ended up adding a joke comic about how weird it was to go back and look at the way I drew women in the earlier stuff. (lots of butts.)

Sooo yeah, those were panels of a dude fantasizing about a hot girl with a big butt. And I certainly still make some drawings that hit those notes ( I mostly keep it to my sketchbook these days) for the most part I try to show the characters in my newer work as more than just a scratching post for my boner.

Anyway, I’m glad you liked the 1st issue even with the stuff that hit a weird note with you. I hope you like the newer less dude fantasizing stuff even more. I have to regard the older stuff as a time capsule for what I was capable of when I did it–

I just wanted to ask why did you put a dog with a "Watchtower" magazine on page 6 of Island #3 (sorry if that wasn't you). Jehovah's witnesses don't believe that world was created in literal 7 days. I suppose creationists believe that but not all. Cheers.

It’s an Angel/Care bear thing reading Watchtower.

Color wize I think it would be Wish bear

I was loitering in my local RX comics, when a woman came in and gave the owner an issue of Watchtower– they added it to the stack of comics I was getting as a joke. So I put it in Island as an inside joke.

I think up in the clouds hanging out with God, Wish bear just reads all kinds of religious magazines regardless of if he agrees with what they have to say or not. He likes to keep up on people’s Wishes.

What's the possibility of Island being collected? I've managed to miss out on everything so far due to events of an apocalyptic nature.

Each of the major stories in it will be collected in their own books.

I think we’re doing Emma’s ID and Farel’s Pop gun war to start with.
