I /loved/ the first issue of multiple warheads. But! There were several moments, mostly involving naked sexica, where I paused, thinking, "this seems a lot like a dude fantasizing about a hot girl with a big butt. wtf. more comics misogyny?" Then I read an

Warheads is a weird series for me in that it started way back when I was drawing porn comics full time and I’ve tried to drag it along with me as I aim to evolve as an artist.

In the collected Warheads I ended up adding a joke comic about how weird it was to go back and look at the way I drew women in the earlier stuff. (lots of butts.)

And I certainly still make some drawings that hit those notes ( I mostly keep it to my sketchbook these days) for the most part I try to show the characters in my newer work as more than just a scratching post for my boner.

Anyway, I’m glad you liked the 1st issue even with the stuff that hit a weird note with you. I hope you like the newer less dude fantasizing stuff even more. I have to regard the older stuff as a time capsule for what I was capable of when I did it–
