do you ever take a period of time off between writing and if so is it difficult to get back into the flow of writing
I usually don’t. I’ve been known to finish a book in the morning and start the next in the afternoon. When I finish a story, I’m eager to start another. If I do take time off writing—usually because I have to, for editing or touring—it is a little harder to get back into the flow.
Even starting a new project can be tough. I might be looking forward to it, but the transition can be rough. I joked about that on Twitter this week—that I’d finished an entire 111 words that morning on a brand-new project (my daily goal is 2000.) Switching voices can feel a bit like pushing a car uphill. One I get there, it’s smooth sailing, but it takes effort!

a fact that if actually accomplished, should be put on a tombstone.
My favorite part is “We hope he has gone to rest.” What, like… they weren’t sure? Maybe, if ever the bear uprising should start again, he would rise from the ground to finish what he started and slay that 100th bear?
Was this man so powerful they are concerned he might not have decided to rest at all and is simply biding his time?
The bears made that tombstone.

Odd question. I used to really love reading your entries as Chloe on the Chloe Saunders' LiveJournal. I hadn't thought about the site in a while and was wanting to take a trip down memory lane, but when I went to the site, I saw that you had deleted it! Is
Ummmm… Good question! I don’t even know if I have those anymore. The LiveJournal got hacked, so I deleted it—I wasn’t using it anymore after the DP trilogy ended. I never thought to save the entries. I’ll see if I have them on my old computer, but I suspect I don’t!

Ummmm… Good question! I don’t even know if I have those anymore. The LiveJournal got hacked, so I deleted it—I wasn’t using it anymore after the DP trilogy ended. I never thought to save the entries. I’ll see if I have them on my old computer, but I suspect I don’t!
