I Hate To Do This To You Guys, But…

Here’s Why Episode 4 Has Been Delayed

So, the response to the first season of THEM has been fantastic so far… beyond anything I expected when I decided to finish a WiP that I started over four years ago. I know there are lots of people out there chomping at the bit to get Episode 4 in their hands, so I figured I’d better tell you why you’re having to wait so long to read the next chapter in the Scratch Sullivan saga.

I actually had about 90% of Ep. 4 written, but Idecided to scrap a lot of it....

Teen Wolf Season 4 Is Better Than Ever…

Well, I just watched the Season 4 mid-season finale of Teen Wolf (I refuse to pay extra for MTV, so I stream them on my Amazon Fire TV like just about every other show I watch). And, I know a lot of people thought that after they killed off Allison Argent toward the end of S3 that this season was going to be a bust.

They were wrong. Although the fight scenes haven’t improved much (see below), this season’s storyline and character development have carried the show beyond what could have been a...

The Strain Just Keeps Getting Better And Better

Can I just say that this week’s episode of The Strain blew me away? Creatures of the Night was reminiscent of a classic Romero film, with all the tension and gorethat a really good horror flick should have.

Of course, the strigoiin The Strain are more akin to the vampires in 30 Days of Night than they are to Romero’s standardzombies (slow-moving, not too bright, and mostly dangerous in large groups), but the pacing of this latest episode is, in my opinion, definitely a nod to the great master...

THEM Episode 2 Is Now For Sale…

(…and Episode 3 is coming soon!)

THEM Episode 3With THEM Episode 1 rapidly garnering rave reviews, I decided to get Episodes 2 and 3 out as quickly as possible. So, I’m spending the weekend doing final edits and publishing them on Amazon, B&N, Kobo, iTunes, and Scribd.

Please be patient with Barnes and Noble and Scribd, as they seem to take longer to publish new works than other online booksellers. I expect all three...

It’s a serial fiction novel that will be released in a series of 6 novellas, and it mixes action, martial arts, zombies, vampires, werewolves, and all manner of post-apocalyptic fun into a single action-packed story.

My editor went bonkers over it, and my brother plowed...

New Post-Apocalyptic Fiction Series for Adults Coming Soon…

Alright, so I decided to switch to writing for the adult market… at least, for a while. I have another book in the Colin McCool series written (a novella, really) but I needed a change of pace from that series. So, I pulled out an unfinished WiP and went to town on it.

THEM Season 1 Episode 1Before long, I realized I had a whole new world that I wanted to play in for a while. I’ve been writing furiously for weeks, butIdecided to releasethe first book as a serialto get it out faster. The firstthree episodes will be c...

Rave Reader Review For Colin McCool #1

Nothing like getting a thumbs up for your book from a readerSo, I ran a StoryCartel contest to coincide with the launch of Colin McCool and the Vampire Dwarf, and gave away some Amazon gift cards to the winners.

Meghan was one of the readers who won a gift card (Story Cartel determines that, by the way, through some random process or another). So, I emailed her to let her know she was a winner, and this was her response:

“Thank you. I really enjoyed your book and can’t wait to read the second one. And that additional chapter – very cool. I like the way...
