Greatest Love Tragedy Ever

There are love tragedies, and there are love tragedies. Heartbreaking stories of a spouse having affairs for years before the adultery is discovered. A parent entrusted with loving a child abusing the child and leaving permanent scars. Children following the way of alcohol and drugs and breaking the hearts of their parents who love them so dearly. A woman being deeply in love with a man only to find the man does not desire to return her love. Oh, the love tragedies of this life. But there is one...

Perfectly Patient

There is only one person in the universe who is perfectly patient. The Lord Jesus Christ. We are made in the Lord’s image and are to be conformed to His image. We are to reflect the love of Jesus – and all that goes with love including patience.

God used a beautiful younger sister in the Lord to help me consider God’s love, patience, and mercy with His children.

Would you consider meditating on God’s love, patience, and mercy toward you throughout your life? And toward others you know? And towar...

A Tragic Way to Start the Day

Years of following Jesus. So lost in the early years. So not understanding. So much growing to do. God transformed me, and still transforms me, and will continue to transform me. Started off so religious about it all. I wonder if you can perhaps relate. And if you need a wake-up call like the one God gave me early one morning.

God didn’t create us to be simply robots performing man-made traditions and rituals as though we can measure up to Him and make ourselves look pretty and perfect to keep u...

This is NOT Wrong!

Please I beg you look to God and the Bible to know what is right and wrong in His eyes and live in obedience to Him no matter what the world says is right and wrong.

The Bible speaks of a time when good is called evil and evil is called good, and it seems we are very much in such a time.

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;…!” Isaiah 5:20 NKJV

“This is NOT wrong!” the world often says nowadays of what the Bible makes clear is sin ag...

Please Persevere!

I graduated college with a degree in English, but I am not big on fancy words. Persevere seems pretty big and fancy to me. I strive to live and speak and write simply. So let me put this message in simple terms. This message is about persevering when you are tempted to give up. Specifically about continuing with what God has called you to do when your flesh wants to call it quits. And this is how God brought this message to mind.

I was feeling like I wasn’t getting anywhere with my writing. Not ...

This is Sin Too!

Here comes a really big confession. For YEARS, as a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, I spent so much time pointing the finger at other people’s sin not to mention judging and condemning them a few loved ones in particular that I was spiritually BLIND to how big and bad and blatant my sin was! I was so focused on THEIR sin which to me seemed so incredibly BIG and BLATANT that some of my sin I couldn’t see at all and some of my sin I downplayed and some of my sin I excused and a tiny bit of my s...

Goodbye Pride & Stubbornness

Once in a while I feel led by God to help and encourage a friend of mine and it is like looking in a mirror and seeing myself as I was for a long time before God took a sledgehammer to my pride and stubbornness and began to teach me how to live humbly and yielded, submitted, and surrendered to Him.

My sweet friend tends to resist and rebel and her sweetness takes the back burner as she puts up somewhat of a fight. Even as I deliver the messages I believe God puts on my heart to bring to her to h...

Forgive Your Family!

I plead with you with all my heart to please forgive your family!

No matter what they did or said, did not do or did not say, no matter how ...

4 Preachers Who Broke My Heart

Four times in recent years God led me to confront preachers who were sinning against God in a blatant way. I am not speaking of they were eating too much and needed to stop gorging on food. No, not about the day-to-day stuff we all need to work on as the Lord leads us. I am speaking of really obvious, concrete, tangible wrongdoing that there is no grey area about. And no just needing to make changes over time and improvements along the way. This was very clear sin that needed to be gotten rid of...

Special Needs Dogs – Beautiful Example

After years of having literally up to 17 dogs at a time when I was in the thick of my extreme dog rescue work, I am down to my last 2 for now anyway. They are not the most ordinary dogs. I drove hours years ago to pick up Miss Mercy at a rural animal shelter where she had been taken after likely being hit by a truck. She was left paralyzed. On the way, I stopped at a gas station and was told of a young dog dumped there who had been hit by 2 cars on the same day and left with a badly broken leg. ...
