Update & Prayer Request from Lara
Hi everyone,
Once again, another big update & another big prayer request!
I am completely and humbly blown away by the exceeding work the Lord is doing through my heart, life, and ministry right now. I am astounded at the numbers of people He is reaching near and far – and at the countless opportunities He is giving me day and night seven days a week to talk to people about Him.
I have never had a deeper hunger and thirst for more of the Lord and His Word, and never had a greater desire, pass...

The Man Who Got Too Close to Me
“For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,
Who bring glad tidings of good things!” Romans 10:13-15
Before the Lord Jesus Christ stepped into my life and saved me from my...

Lara’s Big Anniversary
In all honesty, to borrow an expression my beloved Mom often uses, I cannot fathom that April 1 will mark two years of being out on the road for Jesus. Two years of streets ministry and writing and publishing Gospel tracts, devotionals, and books with a little crew of special needs and senior rescued dogs in tow!
Never in a million years would I have imagined God would take a woman who grew up in a Jewish family that didn’t believe in God who neglected her childhood dog and ended up an ath...
My Amazing Day
“Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalm 46:10
“Thank you God for my amazing amazing amazing amazing day,” I prayed at the end of one warm and sunny March sabbath Sunday. “Thank you God that I got to spend it with you. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen,” I finished.
Immediately I was struck with this. For decades, my days revolved around me, what I wanted, what I didn’t get, with whom I got to be, with whom I couldn’t be, my dr...
My Fabulous Life
“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. ” John 17:3
“and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.” 2 Cor. 5:15
I never wanted the life I have today. Being on the road for Jesus with 5 special needs dogs doing streets ministry and writing and publishing Gospel tracts, devotionals, and books far away from loved ones with no semblance of a socia...
365 BLESSINGS: Blessing #24
“Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.” Psalm 63:3
The Lord is better and more beautiful and wonderful than life itself, isn’t He? And so is His tender lovingkindness. Sometimes I hear people say they were taught God is a mean, punishing, angry God. They want to stay far away from the Lord because of what they were taught. Friend, the Lord is holy and righteous and He absolutely has anger and wrath and punishes and placed the curse of death, hell, and the...
God Carried Me
“The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, and in the wilderness where you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.’” Deuteronomy 1:30-31 [please read this verse in context in the Bible. It is simply used hear to show how the Lord in His awesome love can in fact carry us!]
The day I received an email notifying me the closest fema...
365 BLESSINGS: Blessing #23
“For You have been a shelter for me,
A strong tower from the enemy.” Psalm 61:3
When the storms of life come, there is no shelter like the shelter of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no safety like His. No love and comfort like His. No more merciful place to be. Nothing more comforting than running into His arms. When I was a child, the thunderstorms seemed so loud and brutal to the mind, eyes, and ears of a child living in a little house in the woods with her family. When my Dad was out, m...
Falling Out of Love
“Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.” Ephesians 5:1-2
God’s greatest commands are to love Him with all our hearts and to love others as ourselves, and He will give His followers through His Spirit who lives inside His followers every ounce of love we need day by day to obey His commands but –
But what? God calls us to WALK IN LOVE. He calls us t...
Not the Reason to Quit
“If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.” John 12:26
I promise you that if you spent one day in my life on the road for Jesus for nearly two years now doing streets ministry and writing and publishing Gospel tracts, devotionals, and books with 5 special needs ministry service dogs accompanying me around the United States, you would probably understand why the idea of quitting comes to mind from ti...
