latest SERVING JESUS IN YOUR EVERYDAY LIFE
“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faith...

Wow, I’m exhausted! Streets ministry, writing Gospel tracts, devotionals, and books, and caring for the streets ministry special needs doggies, not to mention dealing with numerous challenges I would have loved to have done without. And just a month back in New York City for a season of streets ministry here!
Exhausted? Yes! But thrilled, excited, humbled, and more passionate and on fire than ever to love and worship the Lord forever and to help people worldwide to find and forever follow the...

latest LITTLE LETTER FROM LARA
Dear friend, …………
Years ago I was offended because two friends didn’t want to do something I wanted to do to honor the Lord. I felt what I wanted to do honored the Lord. They felt it did not. We became divided over the issue…….All these years later, I realize three things. First, we shouldn’t have been divided. We should have resolved to be united in Christ and chosen love over offense. Second, I believe the Lord wasn’t as concerned with the action we were divided over as much as He was con...

LET’S PUT AWAY OUR BASEBALL BATS………..
“Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” Ephesians 4:29………
When someone shared with me how a bunch of people with baseball bats were hanging around her and a friend one night as though they might become violent which could ultimately have been to the point of death, it sounded really scary – and totally foreign. Thank God, I had never experienced something like th...

Blessing 85………..
“I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great treasure (Psalm 119:162).”…………
How glorious is the Lord Jesus Christ! How almighty is the Lord! How awesome is His Word! You might be surprised that I meet people continually in my streets ministry work who say they believe in Jesus as Lord and call themselves Christians and may even pray but don’t read the Bible and spend time alone with God daily. Only the Lord knows whether they are truly forgiven and promised everlasting life...

“My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord,
Nor detest His correction;
For whom the Lord loves He corrects,
Just as a father the son in whom he delights.” Proverbs 3:11-12………….

SEASONS & REASONS ……….
“To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:” Ecc. 3:1 ……………..
“I delight to do Your will, O my God,
And Your law is within my heart.”” Psalm 40:8
Sometimes the Lord brings us into a season of service for Him only to lead us out of that season into a new season, and it can be challenging to leave that season behind as well as to try to understand why the Lord would want us in that first season only to lead us out of it.
The Lord leads us in a...
latest UPDATE & PRAYER REQUEST
This morning I was blessed with meeting so many people as I walked paralyzed doggies Mr. Simeon and Miss Mercy in their wheelchairs in the nearby park. I was privileged with talking to people about the Lord Jesus Christ and handing out Gospel tracts. This is just a little snippet of what my days are like. Between writing and doing streets ministry and talking to people by phone and emailing people, I have constant opportunities daily to tell the world about the Lord Jesus Christ – my number o...
latest LITTLE LETTER FROM LARA
Dear friend, ………..
I stood on a street corner praying with two street preachers I had just met as I walked the streets of New York City following the leading of the Lord when hands came down and rested on my shoulders as another stranger joined us in prayer. None of us knew each other. The Lord had simply led us together on that street corner. We crossed paths for just minutes of our lives, but oh how precious were those minutes. Praying in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. United in Christ…...latest DAILY INSPIRATION
WE WILL ANSWER TO JESUS
“and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.” 2 Cor. 5:15
“that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Phil. 2:10-11
