Someone I know shared with me how his dear elderly friend was found dead. The great loss made him think of his own mortality and how he sensed that his death might not be too far into the future. He had long ago turned from a lifestyle of sin, believed in Jesus Christ as Lord who died on the cross to pay his sin penalty and was raised from the dead, and devoted his life to God and His ways.
