A Matter of Eternity
The woman was a committed believer in and follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. She had turned from her sins, put her faith in Jesus Christ who died on the cross to pay our sin punishment of Gods wrath, death, hell and the lake of fire, and received Jesus as Lord. She had been forgiven her...
Helping Others God’s Way
I love to help people. I love to be used by God to love, bless, encourage, pray for, support, and serve others. But as the Lord reminded me when He spoke the following words to my heart, when we help others for His sake and His glory, helping them to find and follow and live for Him, we need to be in His will in His time where He wants us with whom He wants us doing and saying what He wants not for our praise and glory but for His.
Helping others Gods way means we need to submit to His...

Hurting God
God has a heart, and Gods heart can hurt. His heart can hurt so greatly in fact we cant even imagine the degree of hurt He experiences. If you dont believe me He has a heart and that His heart breaks and grieves and experiences different emotions like pleasure, joy, anger, wrath, compassion, jealousy, sorrow, etc., you can see what I am telling you throughout the Bible. Please read the Bible! Daily! Make the Lord and belief in and love for and obedience to Him your very highest priority now...

A Warning About Fear
We as humans experience fear, and we should not condemn ourselves for feeling it at times. The Lord wouldnt tell us hundreds of times in the Bible not to fear if we all had perfect faith in Him and never fell into fear. I believe He tells us not to fear because He knows we will have it at times and to instruct us not to stay in fear when we find ourselves there.
Fear can be dangerous, friend. Wen? When we choose to stay in it instead of turning away from it and when we make decisions and take...

Don’t Get Sidetracked
I told a beloved friend about a situation and my ears perked up when she warned me not to get distracted. I asked another friend to pray for me regarding this, and she made clear I shouldnt get sidetracked.
Sidetracked. Distracted. The devil loves to bait and lure us away from focusing on the Lord, the Bible, and Gods will for our lives. When we get sidetracked, we are off Gods track. Off His path. The devil uses distractions to get us off track.
A train needs to stay on track to do what it...
Sharing Struggles & Victories
A beautiful friend of mine shared an experience she had concerning something with which she struggles. She started by telling me about a particular sin with which she is especially vulnerable. Then she told me about a time she was headed right for a fall into that sin when instead of falling she turned away from the sin, prayed to the Lord, and had victory over the sin that day. She further shared how the Lord blessed her with the final outcome of the experience she had. Know why I thanked...

Clean Up Your Obedience
I had sensed the Lord telling me to do something. Not something huge. Not something even worth repeating. A rather small thing in the grand scheme of things. But He had given me a number and made clear He wanted me to stick to that exact number. To do what He had told me to do not once, not three times, but twice. Yes, two times. Two. Why do I emphasize the number two? Because that is the number God gave me.
