FREE!

Update on the 4th Santina book, which is called "The More the Merrier." I'm about 90% finished! I've also compiled the first 3 books into a set which will be on sale next month. If you've read all 3 books, I'd be very thankful if you'd review the set for me on Amazon. You can find it on my Amazon author page or you can find it with the title "Santina Series." I'd also like to offer anyone who has reviewed 2 books or the set, a FREE eBook of the 4th book, "The More the Merrier" once it's released at the beginning of December. Send me a message. Of course, I'd be thrilled if you also reviewed it! Thanks!

Sale thru Tues 10/10

My book "Whims & Vices" and the sequel "Fate & Flirtations" are both .99 cents thru Tuesday Oct. 10. Both are about a love triangle in the crazy early '70s each from the POV of a different character relating two versions of the same events and then both stories take off in their own directions. I hope you get a chance to enjoy both books!

Progress on Santina #4

I just finished Chapter 10 of my 4th Santina book. I think I have a title too. I keep telling myself after each book, this is the last one... unless a good story comes to me. So here I am writing book #4. Each book progresses the story and growth of the characters. I love these crazy characters. They all have dilemmas and problems and their own insecurities. So fun to write! It's not easy to write humor but there's humor in the character's personalities and the conflict in their interactions. Readers love these Christmas books! They sell all year round. Who knew? So there's another on the way.

Free!

"Guardian of the Light" is free thru 8/28! This was my first book and I've never offered it free before. It's already hit #1 in the Women's Spirituality category. If you like to ponder the meaning of life, this may be for you.

Santina book #4

I've been going back and forth about writing another Santina book and now I finally started book #4. I love these characters and they're my most popular books. People even read them in the summer! I hope to finish this one by November. I'll keep you posted.

2017 Reading Challenge

Wow! I already reached my goal of reading 30 books this year and it's only July. That's about a book a week. I read over 40 books each of the last 2 years but wasn't sure how busy I'd be this year so I aimed low. I'm on a serious reading jag. I'm finding so many great books. I seem to be reading a lot of true stories. Just check out my reviews for some recommendations. Happy Reading!

Reviews!

I've been reading so many books. I always do reviews on GR and Amazon. I know how much authors appreciate it and it helps other readers. This is how I determine if I'll like a book. My books have gotten some great reviews that warm my heart! Thank you readers!!!

"A Centerfold Revealed"

I'm currently editing a book called "A Centerfold Revealed" and it's the true life story of a 1982 Playgirl Centerfold. This crazy guy has had lots of wild adventures. Does anybody have any thoughts on the kind of interest this true story would generate? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I still haven't started writing a new book due to my focus on editing, although I have a few compelling ideas. I'm always open for suggestions. Other than that, I've read 24 books this year. It's nice to read some of the great books I've been wanting to read.

Happy reading and writing!

HAPPY WORLD BOOK DAY!

In order to honor this day... make some time to read today!

What has reading meant to you and what are you currently reading?

I love reading! I believe it's broadened my world, helped educate me, and given me more compassion to imagine walking in another's shoes. There's nothing better (mostly) than getting lost in a book.

I read a variety of genres. I love nonfiction: biographies or memoirs, self-help, health & nutrition. And then I also love women's fiction that feels empowering, visionary fiction that inspires, chick lit that makes me laugh, adventure that I can live vicariously, and a book with twists I can't anticipate.

I'm currently reading a fictional "memoir" called "Movie Star by Lizzie Pepper" by Hilary Liftin, a total guilty pleasure.
