My book "Fate & Flirtations" wasn't chosen for publication by Kindle Scout. :( But it was an interesting experience. However, it's now available on Amazon. It already had a 5 star review! This is the sequel to "Whims & Vices." If you already enjoyed that book, I think you'll like this one, although it can be read as a standalone. I don't do cliffhangers! So much happens in this book!

Here's an excerpt from "Whims & Vices" as I toil to finish the sequel!

I felt loved and accepted and believed I’d found the place where I belonged. In all the wide world, somehow our paths had crossed, and we were meant to be here together now. I knew this deep in my soul.”

Sequel to Whims & Vices in the works

I've been working on the sequel to "Whims & Vices" which will be told from Molly's point of view. Some secrets she kept from Max and Sam are surfacing, and her recollections don't always match Max's. Hmmmm...

Guardian of the Light

Finally! I rewrote and reformatted my first published book "Guardian of the Light." If you already purchased it and haven't read it, make sure you contact Amazon for the updated edition. If you like Visionary fiction and haven't read it yet, you might want to check it out. I had fun with the formatting and tightened the story removing anything too repetitive (or too repetitive). I believe my writing has become stronger, and I think the new edition will reflect that. I thought it would take a month, and it took almost four. Whew! My next task is to write the sequel to "Whims & Vices." I'm not one of those speed writers, and I'm a perfectionist, so wish me luck!

2016

Happy 2016! I had the good fortune of being able to advertise my most popular book "The Daughter Claus" on BookBub last month. I offered it for free, and it was downloaded thousands of times in 13 countries! The sequel "The Claus Cause" has been selling well since then with sales of my other books increasing as well. Several readers would like to see the Christmas books made into movies. Me too! Thank you to all the readers who take the time to do reviews! Happy reading! The Beast

The beast in the dark cave is restless
It howls and growls and lures me
Gusts of air swirl and churn
The muse’s hands gently push upon my back

The beast is wild and ferocious
Others become silent, tasks go undone
It demands my attention in the early morn and late into the night
It does not let me sleep
I am weak and weary

The beast taunts me
I venture into the black void to wrestle it
It snorts and snarls and draws me deeper
Our struggle is endless, often futile

It craves every bit of my time, every ounce of my strength
It warns me of all I must endure while it entraps me
I feel the magic infuse me
And the power that will scorch my soul

A caress and words that flutter in the dark calm it
A tamed beast will sprout wings
And let me soar into the sky upon its back
It will take me to places that I cannot imagine
But that I know and have seen

It's the '70s, and the three of them live by their whims and vices as their lives tangle into a romantic knot. Max is the narrator, and he struggles with insecurity and jealousy.
