The Most I Have Ever Written In A Single Day

What is the most that I’ve ever written in a single day?

Setting aside the issue of quality, the most I have ever written in a single day is roughly 28,000 words… I think.

Yeah.

I did that years ago, back when I was going through a phase of writing in marathon sessions on weekends where I would basically wake up, sit down in front of my computer, and then write until my wrists started hurting or it was time to sleep.

Progress continues on Two Necromancers, a Fortress, and a Titan.

I am currently seven chapters and roughly 100,000 words into the third draft.

The biggest thing so far is that I’ve identified a section that goes for a few thousand words that is going to get cut. Basically, I don’t think it really adds anything to the chapter, and it became quite obvious while I was working on the chapter that including it ended up bogging everything down.
