Get to know Miscellaneous Thoughts of a Bookaholic…
Tell us about Miscellaneous Thoughts!
I am a beginning blogger and I write my reviews from the emotional high or low I get
from reading the book. I started blogging in February and slowly I am adding more
books to my blog!
What Genres Do You Feature?
There is a little bit of everything on my blog. It is heaving in romance, romantic
mystery/suspense and some erotica! Who doesn’t love hot, steamy sex scene?!?!
There is some young adult and paranormal, which I just started reading recently.
What Do You Want Readers To Know About Your Blog?
I want them to know that every word I write is from my heart. I write what I feel.
I know that it might not be a “professional” review, but it is how I feel about that
particular book at that moment. I believe writing from emotion makes the book
“life like” to the person reading the reviews. Especially when you say you just want to
hug a character. You know what a person looks like that needs a hug. I don’t get paid
to write what I do, so these are my honesty words, thoughts and opinions! I am a
full time college student, a proofreader and on a BETA team.
What Do You Want Authors and Publishers To Know About You?
I love pimping out new authors and authors upcoming releases! I love meeting
authors and publishers. They are what makes my “job” possible!

Being Featured today is Rose’s Book Blog!
Getting to know Rose…
Tell us about Rose’s Book Blog!
My blog features reviews and I have a special love for telling readers about free books they can get on Amazon
When was it established?
I started my blog about two months ago. It started one day when my friend suggested
that we read Fifty Shades of Grey and ever since then I have been searching for my
next new favorite book.
What Genres Do You Feature?
I feature Erotica and Romance genres. I have a special love for happy endings.
What do you want readers to know about your blog?
The purpose of my blog is not to gain attention for myself. I blog to help others find
out about some of the amazing authors that are out there that I love.
What do you want Publishers and Authors to know?
I want authors and publishers to know that my main goal is to give readers a real
look at books without putting down the author’s work. I believe if you have a love
for writing and are brave enough to publish that work than you should be celebrated.

Blogger Appreciation Month: Day 1 Inner Goddess and prizes!
Today is the first day of a month of prizes! Just comment for your chance to win! We will draw the winners at the end of the month so you can comment all month long! A new prize daily
May is Blogger Appreciation Month! Every day in May a different blog will be
featured. Come back daily to meet these bloggers and comment to win prizes!
All prizes will be drawn at the end of the month.
Today’s prize is a $10 Amazon Gift Card!
Our feature today is Inner Goddess. It is also their first blog-iversary
so Happy Anniversary Ladies!
Getting to know them…
Tell us about your blog!
Inner Goddess began as a place readers to chat with each other about the books they love in the Romance and Erotica genre. We found that readers had been ashamed to admit they read such books, and we wanted to create a place where they would feel welcome to gush over their favorite characters and authors. We are not reviewing the books, we are just talking about what we liked (or didn’t) in a book club format. The forum is divided into sub-genres: soft romance, graphic romance, menages, paranormal, BDSM, GLBT, and Vintage. That way readers can quickly find book genres they like. Guests can view, but only members can post. Members can even add books to the ones already listed. We have Spotlight Books and Spotlight Vendors, along with games and buying links. Lisa Renee Jones was our first Spotlight Author.
Then authors joined our site and it became even more exciting as they dropped by with excerpts and giveaways. We added a blog feature to give back to the authors, to give them a place to reach out to their fans. It now features an author’s blog roll, a twitter feed, a book convention calendar, a Goodreads and Facebook group, and weekly giveaways. We hosted Best of the Year awards nominated and voted on by members. On Mother’s Day, we are hosting a charity auction to benefit cancer survivors who are rebuilding their lives: all auction items are donated by our author friends. It is called Warrior Goddesses.
When was it established?
Inner Goddess was formed in May 2012. Three friends that had talked books with each other on forums for years realized that each liked to read the sexier romance books. We decided to open our own forum, believing other women were closet readers like us. We brought in another friend and built the site. The three main moderators of the site are TinkNCognito, pearls, and Queenie.
What Genres do you feature?
We post about all sub-genres of Romance: Historical, Paranormal, Military, Contemporary, Menage, Western, SciFi, BDSM, Erotica, Vintage, GLBT. The blogs are guest authors who request a week on the calendar. Lisa Renee Jones was the first author to line up and request to blog. The blogs are posted on Sunday and run through the week. We’ve had new authors who self published their first book and experienced authors with multiple series.
What should readers know about your blog?
We want them to imagine they are sitting in our living room talking about their favorite with us. We want to share our favorite books and hear recommendations for more to read. We hope they will come and post on the forum with us.
We are having a month long birthday party this May. We are giving away signed books to members, and the more you post, the more chances you have to win. We will be having blog tours and snippets from authors on our blog this month. And we will hosting an auction called Warrior Goddesses on eBay May 12-18 with signed books and other goodies donated by a diverse group of authors.
What would you like Authors and Publishers to know about Inner Goddess?
I was told by an author on our Goodreads group that she was afraid to post because other groups would bash her for self-promotion. We are the opposite. We want authors to come tell us about their books. And we love talking to authors. We are happy to have authors as members. Both publishers and authors are welcome to contact us about adding their books to our forum or the blog calendar.

Day 20 Recipe – Chocolate Frosting
Rae has brought the week to and end with a favorite in my house – CHOCOLATE – and even more so that it is a Frosting recipe. It’s not too hard to make and will be all that more appreciated since you worked on it yourself.
STOVETOP CHOCOLATE FROSTING
YOU WILL NEED
4 TBSP. butter
3 TBSP. milk
2 TBSP. baking cocoa
1 ¾ cup confectioner sugar (can add more sugar if it is to thin)
1 tsp. vanilla
Bring butter and milk to a boil in medium sauce pan, SHOULD HAPPEN FAST, make sure butter is melted. Immediately after butter is melted and the mix has boiled, remove from heat, add sugar and cocoa, mix with whisk until smooth. Add vanilla. Use this frosting to pour over a Bundt cake. Frosting will harden a bit. If you like add any sprinkles immediately after frosting cake. The frosting does harden pretty fast. Use on top of any of your favorite cake or brownie recipe.
Tip- if you want a very smooth frosting, you can sift cocoa and sugar before putting into sauce pan.
Enjoy!

Eclair cake
This cake needs to be prepared 12 hours in advance. Needs to be refrigerated overnight
You will Need
1 box graham crackers( you will have leftovers)
2 boxes vanilla instant pudding
1- 8 thawed tub cool whip. Full or fat free is fine, (I use fat free)
2 ½ cups milk, (I use skim)
Directions
Mix pudding, thawed cool whip and milk in large bowl, beat with whisk until smooth
In a 9X13 ungreased pan, layer graham crackers to cover the bottom
On top of graham cracker layer gently spread half of pudding mix. Careful not to move crackers. ( I put dollops of mix in many areas to make spreading of mix easier)
Layer another row of graham crackers, add last half of pudding mix.
Layer final layer of graham crackers.
On top of graham cracker layer put a tub of chocolate frosting, again careful not to move crackers. You may want to microwave frosting 20 seconds to make it easier to spread.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 12 hours or overnight.
Cut into slices and Enjoy!
