Pastel Shades: Acrylic {Intuitive} Painting

Soft petals flutterand dew drops dance,and nature, filled with melodysings the song of hope.
New painting. Acrylics on canvas.
It was my art challenge #paintwithtarang on Instagram {I decided to do it as I felt I was being repetitive in terms of colours}. The prompt was pastel shades. It was a bit challenging to create pastel shades as I mix these colours.

Painted this today. For another prompt 'Black and White'
Here's a quick video of black n white painting on my new YouTube channel. 🙈

However, aga...

5 MSME Business Ideas For Women Entrepreneurs

Image: Charles Forerunner, Unsplash

Jaswantiben Jamnadas, a 91 year old woman, received the prestigious Padma Shree Award this year. Who is Jaswantiben Jamnadas? She's a super successful business woman, one of the co-founders of Shri Mahila Griha Udyog Lijjat Papad. It reminded me of the popular Lijjat Papad advertisement on Doordarshan.

It's wonderful to see women opting for their own business and doing it with confidence. I have seen women working as successful entrepreneurs since my ch...

          Photo by Mark Tegethoff, Unsplash

Minimalistic Artworks: Acrylic Painting

{For Sale}
'मंज़िल इतनी भी दूर ना थी,काश! हौसले ने दग़ा ना दिया होता।'
{तरंग}
Acrylic on 6×8 inch canvas board. Really enjoyed painting this one. Colours I've used: Payne's grey {one of my favourite colours) & White.

Even in this painting (intuitive), I thought I could have used Payne's grey instead of blue. Also, does it look like a car on this deserted pathway {I'm not good at sketching}?

Minimalistic paintings look ver charming. And fun to paint!

Written for Blogchatter's Cause A Chatter Initiative.

Image: Anthony Tran, Unsplash

Art Therapy

This post has been written for Blogchatter's Cause a Chatter initiative.

Mental/emotional stress is more exhausting than physical tiredness.

Thankfully, there are certain things that help you relieve your mental stress. Everyone has a different way to deal with it (if you think nothing relieves your stress, you seriously need to rethink).

In my previous Cause a Chatter post, I had talked about solitude. It works wonders for me. Another thing that distracts my mind is art. I am a self taught artist...
