My Best Reads So Far
Image: John-Mark Smith, Unsplash
Reading is a beautiful addiction and nothing is more entertaining than reading an engrossing and thrilling book!
In this bizarre phase, I might feel difficult to concentrate on writing or even on painting, reading keeps me afloat. If the book is interesting, it embraces you and takes you to a different world and you stop worrying about real life for a while.
This year, I have read books and some of them were very interesting. My best reads so far.

Too Good to be True
Anita woke up with a start. Something disturbed her sleep. Something strange, she didn't know what. Her bedroom was almost dark. Her heart skipped a couple of beats when she realized that Divya, her 2 year old daughter, was not on the bed. Then she relaxed immediately, as she watched the shadow of Avinash moving on the terrace, her baby sleeping peacefully on his shoulder. She closed her eyes again. Her face was beaming with contentment in the faint street light filtering ...

Glimpse of My Online Painting Workshop
‘Teaching is the highest form of understanding.’
–Aristotle
For me, teaching is not new but teaching art is an absolutely new experience. And to be honest, it was a courageous step when I decided to conduct an online painting workshop for beginners. Because painting live (and painting well when you are painting live) is something else. You have to paint slowly, making everything clear (and waiting patiently) so that newbie/aspiring artists understand and follow everything you are doing. I am glad...

The Book and its Movie Adaptation
'Anyone who thinks fallen leaves are dead has never watched them dancing on a windy day.'
― Shira Tamir
Frankly, I haven't really planned my posts for this blog marathon. I was thinking what to write when I remembered this quote that I shared on Twitter.
It's such a lovely quote. And it creates such lovely imagery.
No, I'm going to discuss the gist of this quote.
When I read the quote, I visualized leaves flying in slow motion. So many leaves, colourful ones: yellow, orange, burnt sienna. And then...

Blogchatter Half Marathon 2021
Blogging brings joy. The eagerness to write a post, the comments, then reading other lovely blogs, the interaction...
I can't help thinking of the time when I started blogging (some 11 years ago) whenever the term 'blogging/blog' comes to my mind.
However, my blogging style has changed over the years, I'm not that desperate to update my blog like I used to be. I like to write and post at my own pace. I write/post when I truly feel like saying something. The readership has changed as well, I think....
