Anthology ‘Witness: The Red River Book of Poetry of Dissent’ is out!
The anthology ‘Witness: The Red River Book of Poetry of Dissent’ is out! Edited by Nabina Das and published by Red River, it possesses the work of 250 poets. [My poem ‘Mask’ features in it.]
Says critic Nirupama Dutt, “Words reach out with a rare rage, urgency, indignation, and angst as poets turn witness to dissent across the length and breadth of the sub-continent in contemporary poetry in this colossal anthology. Penned in different languages and touching a wide range of subjects, words rise out of the despair to mark a dissent with the scheme of things. These words are not mere words but the anguish and despair of a people with whom poetic dissent has been a way of life for thousands of years.”

‘Bombay Hangovers’ reviewed in The Hindu by Vikas Dhoot.
“But Potkar’s maiden short fiction compilation has more hits than misses, and her style is unique and refreshing. This is a voice that one hopes will evolve further with time and throw up bigger, better manuscripts to relish.”
In which Vikas Dhoot engagingly reviews Bombay Hangovers in The Hindu.
The book is available in paperback and e-versions on Amazon (India, US, UK, Canada, Australia).
