E. Davies writes feel-good, low-angst M/M romance that never fades to black when the going gets good! A Canadian who's planted roots in north London (the British one), Ed has been a full-time author since 2013.

Multiple bestselling series and 50+ novels later, he’s still inspired by his husband and their constellation of friends, lovers, and chosen family to tell the joyful stories we all need—about dreaming big and loving even bigger.

I'm going to assume you're American (please correct and forgive me if I'm wrong) based on your spelling choices in your books. That in mind, I'm curious why you chose to set your Riley Brothers series in Canada?

I choose to use US English because many readers aren't familiar with the differences between US, Canadian, and British English and will rate and review books poorly for "typos" due to non-US English, especially if the book is set in North America. It's easier to standardize my books to relatively American English. Some things, I'm too stubborn to change. For example, I don't like how the word vise looks, and my characters use certain Canadian slang. (Give 'er!)

I chose to set the Riley Brothers series in a small Canadian town in New Brunswick because I wanted to show that many people in small towns can be supportive of LGBT people without needing to struggle about it, yet balance that against the frustrating reality of being gay in a small town; because Atlantic Canada is underrepresented in fiction compared to most American cities; and because the particular city I chose doesn't have a minor league team... among other reasons. :)
