It’s an adorable read. No fireworks, no big angst, just a feel-good story with Dustin, a bit shy and staying “in the shadows”, and Leo who discovers that he is bi and really attracted to Dustin.

They both go into this lovely relationship with no conflict, just happy each time they meet, gradually learning about each other and acknowledging their feelings, with the additional bonus of a lot of heat.

A sweet and easy romance, well written. Nothing big, but after the few disappointing

This book is adorable. I think Roman and Oscar are still my faves but Dustin and Leo came close.

There's very little conflict in this, just Leo's dawning realisation that he's attracted to Dustin and feels more for him than He's felt for any woman he's dated in the past.

His gradual admittance that he's bisexual is done without any dramady, he's not conflicted over his feelings, just worried he won't live up to Dustin's previous experiences.

But Dustin has more awareness than that, he's beginning t

Awesome quote @ 69% ...

I’ll fuck you romantically, though,” Leo added with a warm smile, leaning down to kiss him. “Nice and slow…” He eased his fingers out, and his cock pressed against Dustin a moment later. “And gentle, and then harder…”

Dustin moaned and pressed against Leo, but his range of motion was so damn limited. As Leo slid his knees over his shoulde

I just love these guys - I want all of the significant brothers to find their HEAs, and I love getting to read about them and see them all hanging out together, too!

What I enjoyed most about this story was the ease that Dustin and Leo fell for each other - and I loved how Leo is so open to the fact that he wants Dustin, he's not really freaking out or questioning his desire for a man. Heck, he's never slept with a woman either, so discovering he was bisexual and that he was okay with it made for

I adore this whole series and the band of “significant brothers” it revolves around, but Trace is absolutely, hands-down my favorite to date. From the first book, Dustin has always stayed in the background, where it appeared he was most comfortable. But wow, did he surprise me in the best ways in this book. I love his mind and his passion for his work, but was sad to see just how disillusioned he was in terms of relationships and love. Cue Leo, who is probably one of my favorite characters I’ve ...more

Will put a smile on your face.

What I love about E. Davies romances are that they are always feel good, fun, funny and always have a happily ever after. Some days you just need the sweet. This author never fails to deliver.

When I've heard that Dustin got his own book I was super excited to read it because of his job as a forensic investigator. I also liked his calm, almost shy behaviour in his large group of friends, his brothers, and was curious how he is in a more private surrounding. :)

Dustin and Leo are a great couple. The tension is right there from the start, it is first insta-lust which leads towards a relationship first based

This is hands down the most adorable installment of this already-wonderful series. Dustin has always preferred to stay in the background, not to draw too much attention to himself. He's used to one-night stands, because that way he can't get hurt.

Leo has never considered himself attracted to guys. Not that he's done much with girls either but then he meets Dustin in a bar and decides to take the chance.

While Dustin is gun-shy to start a new relationship, Leo i

Dustin and Leo

Loved this slow burn romance.
Dustin and Leo met in a bar, when Leo sort of saved Dustin from some unwanted attention. They had some banter, Leo left. He returned when he thought that the flirting could go further.
I enjoyed seeing the guys find their way to each other.

Beautiful as always...

Ed Davies always know how to tug at your heartstrings. Such a great love story. I'm only sad Dustin's parents were so high maintenance. I get wanting what's best for your children, but love isn't something parents, no matter how well intended (or not) can orchestrate.
turned out this was the second novel that i've read from the author and i enjoyed it very much. Low angst and sweet with no OTT drama or twist. The characters are likable too. I'll definitely check out the other books from this series.

E. Davies is back at it again, and I am so grateful! I just love these Significant Brothers. They are such a strong family, and I love how they support and accept each other and their loves.

In this book 4, quiet Dustin finally meets someone to make him take a risk at falling in love. Leo has never considered being with a man, but when he meets Dustin, pieces just click and fall into place for him. He never really questions his feelings, and is very open to all his relationship with Dustin can b

3.75 - I liked these characters a whole lot more than in book 3. However, the label of bi on Leo bothered me. He’s mid twenties and been with women but it didn’t “work” and is a virgin? He didn’t understand what guys who were always chasing women was about? Um really? He figures out the the admiration of other men is attraction? However once he’s with a man he figures how great sex is and can’t get enough? Sounds very gay and no where near bi. I think the only reason it bugs me was because how o ...more

Significant, Indeed

This series is so splendidly constructed, beautifully written, and each book interdependent on the others—and the previous ones in order—that the only justifiable review I can think of is to combine them all into one.

Caveat: I am not kidding that you must read them in order, no matter what the promotions or other reviewers might say. That’s the only way to get the richness of the lives of all six of the Significant Brothers and their eventual intendeds. The great thing about w

"Maybe real love didn't start with a fairytale; maybe it ended with one." ~Dustin

Between book one and this, I have missed out on so much, now I wanna kick myself. Just means I have to play catch up. The band of brotherhood was back. Book one, Splinter started it all. It may have cracked the surface, but Ed has given me life with this story. With Dustin and Leo, I felt a connect. Yes, it was inst-attraction, but there was that potential you
Dustin's story. After a grindr hookup that ended badly. Dustin decides to visit the bar to maybe find someone to relieve his some steam. He isn't having much luck until a good looking stranger intercepts a persistent patron who wouldn't take the clue that Dustin wasn't interested.

Leo is pretty new to town and a bit lonely, all he's done since getting out of the service is go to school and use his photography skills at work. A night after class brings him to the bar where he saves Dustin from a p

Another success! Better and better with each book. Remarkably encouraging as we see that bigotry doesn’t win. I like that this series has so many diverse personalities and especially endearing is the “brothers” and their relationship and support of one another. Also encouraging is watching our characters stand up for themselves against adversity and come out stronger. This is an excellent series, every character adds something special to the pages and everyone, whether you like or dislike them, ...more

I've fallen in love with the Significant Brothers series and look forward to each new release. In this book we meet up with Dustin and Leo who both embark on a journey of self discovery. Dustin was the introvert, content to remain in the background. And Leo, the seemingly straight protagonist until he meets Dustin. Despite never having dated men before, the moment Leo meets Dustin he takes charge and goes after what he wants. After meeting Leo, Dustin starts to come out of his shell and learns t ...more

Another great add to the series. Oh I love E. Davies, let me count the ways! This series keeps getting better and better, with each story you want to be a part of this amazing family they built with love and respect. Finally we get Dustin story, this is a different couples story then we seen so far where one of the pair is discovering his attraction to men for the first time. Leo is surprised and intrigued with Dustin and can't turn away. What I loved most was the way the characters accept who t ...more

Trace is such a lovely book as only E. Davies can write them. Lighthearted and funny, sexy and hot, with some sadness and a lot of profound observations. Snarky humor, bordering on sarcasm. Great characters that you want to be friends with. And a writing that has you captivated from the start.
It is a pure, might I say, old-fashioned romance where Dustin and Leo are slowly falling in love. The first dates are a bit awkward as first dates go, and then the tumbling further. Endearing and heartfelt.

I've been dying to read Dustin's story since the introduction of the Significant Brothers, and I wasn't disappointed in the least!
Ed Davies manages to create magical, low-in-drama worlds that makes you at ease and the books are so well written and flow by in such a way that you often find yourself having almost finished the story and wishing that there were another 200 pages...

This story touched my heart and made me happy. Words, my the words that this author used to convey his story were stunning in their simplicity. The writing was beautiful and the MC's were so well developed that it feels like i know them.

Dustin and Leo connect in such a straightforward way and that really sets the tone for the book. No game playing, just two lonely men finding that missing piece in their lives. I love stories were people are living and doing well, but love makes it so much bette

What an amazing addition to this awesome series. I received an arc of this book. This is a fairly new author for me. some time ago I was looking for some good reads I was down in the dumps. I friend said for me to read the significant brothers series so I grabbed the first one and dove in before I knew it I was addicted. Then here comes book 4 and oh my I feel like this was the best book in the series so far. There is just something to be said about those Nerd characters that grab ahold of us an ...more

Good story, with Dustin and Leo finding each other, and meeting the challenges of their families.

Dustin has never stood up to his parents, who want him to marry a rich man, no matter if he likes him or not.

He meets Leo at a gay bar, and when Leo takes a chance on the spark between them, a relationship blossoms.

Some strange ideas, like Dustin’s crisis with his parents, which isn’t horrible until they interfere near the end. Leo being bi doesn’t quite make sense to me with how he describes his

Dustin Reed is a sweet and talented Knoxville forensic investigator who has had trouble with men since his first high school relationship. All he wants is love. Forensic photographer and veteran Leo Sanderson, is new at the police station returning to the states after spending years as an overseas service field photographer. He has always assumed he is straight, though not overly sexual. However, the two men quickly fall into a relationship they didn’t see coming. Along the way Dustin introduces ...more

Whenever Ed writes a story you can guarantee a few things; There will be a small amount of angst, a LOT of steaming hot sexy scenes, and some really sweet and tender scenes too.
Another thing Ed always delivers is characters that are easy to relate to no matter what.
In this we meet Dustin and Leo. Both characters aren't really looking for love or a relationship, especially after their pasts. Plus the fact that Dustin isn't into men, is he?
Yet again Ed has blown me aw

Each of these books focus on one significant brother (love that phrase) and their love but we still get to see glimpses of the others and find out what's happening in their lives. Yes, it is a series but you do not have to read all of them to understand. You really really should read all of them though!

Now, Dustin and Leo's first meeting is not exactly standard and it leaves Leo questioning what he knows about himself. What is wonderful about this is how accepting Leo was and how everything was

Dustin and Leo are so practical, honest and funny. This story was just a joy to read. All the main characters and their partners made a small appearance. Just enough to let you know, everyone is alive and well. What I took away from this FANTASTIC story is laugh, love and teach yourself to ask for what you want. Set your goals and then find a way to make it happen. No matter how big or how small. Believe. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS INCREDIBLE UPLIFTING SERI

LEO AND DUSTIN! HOT, ROMANTIC, AND SWEET. Ed Davies has another winning love story in TRACE. Naughty and sweet? This book has both and you won't be able to put it down! It's well written and edited. Both MC's are well thought out and portrayed. The supporting characters are awesome and the brothers are adorable. E. Davies grew up moving constantly, which taught him what people have in common, the ways relationships are formed, and the dangers of “miscellaneous” boxes. As a young gay author whose role models were characters punished for their sexuality, Ed prefers his stories lightly dramatic, full of optimism and hope.

Now out and proud, he writes full-time, goes on long nature walks, tries to fill his pas
