I want to live in a world where stalkers who take photos of unsuspecting women are not maligned, but are provided gainful employment as stalkers. You know, like the world we already live in.

How to know you've become an Awesome Stay-At-Home Dad:
1. See baby slightly uncovered on baby monitor. Sneak in to add an extra blanket, like a stealthy hunter.
2. Whilst adding a blanket, wake up baby. (Just wait.)
3. Soothe baby with water and cuddles. Man cuddles.
4. After baby barfs all over your clothes, ignore this, and put baby back to sleep in record time. Sneak back out like a ninja nanny.
5. Make no attempt to wipe shirt and pants, nor change said shirt and pants, as this does not...

Early this year, modern fables started showing up in my Facebook feed. They were not my favorite kinds of stories. Often the moral was heavy-handed, or the story to get there was ill-conceived, cliché, or simply poorly written.
But rather than get upset about it, I discovered a wonderful thing. Each of these stories was made profoundly better with the simple insertion of a full-size T-Rex.

I read recently that non-fiction authors will tell you that 50 pages is probably all they need on a subject, but they need to add filler in order to sell the book at an airport.
I was sharing with other self-published authors that I think we need to let go of all the ideas that print publishing has provided about the "minimum" or "ideal" length for a fiction or non-fiction book. Even if it's a "print" book you're selling, it's not being browsed in its physical form, so that's not why people...
