I read recently that non-fiction authors will tell you that 50 pages is probably all they need on a subject, but they need to add filler in order to sell the book at an airport.
I was sharing with other self-published authors that I think we need to let go of all the ideas that print publishing has provided about the "minimum" or "ideal" length for a fiction or non-fiction book.
