THE DEAD GAME--EACH DAY A PAGE IS POSTED
Each day, I’m going to post a page from my book. They will be consecutive. This way everyone has a chance to read my book online for free, since I wrote my book for everyone to enjoy.
Think of my book as a cross between the TV shows, The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. It also contains murder and mystery, similar to Elementary.
If you enjoy supernatural, mystery, and murder, then you should enjoy my book.
If anyone has comments on how to make my book even better, then please post away. Nothing is perfect and there’s always room for improvement. I wrote for you, the readers, so let me hear your thoughts.
ENJOY READING!

Life still holds many more surprises for us.

THE DEAD WALK AT NIGHT

WHO ARE THE DEAD?
What happens at the secret parties on the hill? Why do the hill residents only party at night? They are never seen during the day.
Do the dead bodies washing up on shore have anything to do with these residents? And where are the tourists who have been disappearing from the hotel?
Linda and her friends must figure out what is happening to their once peaceful town. With two of their own missing, they must uncover the one controlling The Dead and everyone else in town.

I love to read books. All types of books: mysteries, thrillers, romance, horror, paranormal….
One day, I was looking in the bookstore for a murder mystery with a creepy/haunted house or a creepy location. I couldn’t find anything. Haunted houses aren’t as popular as they used to be. Horror stories still use them but not mysteries.
A light in my brain turned on. I will write a murder mystery in a small town with a deserted house.
That is exactly what I did. It is called The Dead Game. Some of the town’s inhabitants only come out at night, so I added supernatural elements.
I took a leap of faith. And wrote the book. Time will tell if I have a following. But I have my murder mystery in a haunted house, with dead bodies and villains.

WHO IS READY FOR THE SNOW? I count two.

WHO IS READY FOR THE SNOW? I count two.
ARE YOU READY FOR THE SNOW?
I’m not ready for the snow. I’m trying to prepare myself...

I’m not ready for the snow. I’m trying to prepare myself with thoughts of white trees and grass, and picnics in the snow. I’ve never had a picnic in the winter and I don’t know if I want to have one.
When the snow covers the earth, I like the quiet that envelopes everything. Before the cars and people come out, you can feel the quiet. No birds or sounds, just total quiet. And a whiteness like a clean blanket thrown over your little spot in the world. I could look forward to this.
When everything is quiet, you could hear yourself think. Feel yourself calm down. A reprieve from the hustle of everyday life. I guess we all could use the time to recharge our inner batteries.
So enjoy the snow and its special gift to you.

A peek inside The Dead Game
Slowly his mouth lowered onto hers, drawing her into a swirling miasma of unexpected feelings and desires. His mouth fully covering hers introduced her to a new realm of pure pleasure. His powerful form enveloped her, making her feel feelings that were foreign and untried for her. She couldn’t get enough of him. She tentatively began touching his face and then his body with an eager and unrelenting hunger. She didn’t know exactly what she needed, but she knew that she wanted and desired this beautiful man standing right before her. Her past life was washed completely out of her mind, never to be considered again. She begged him to take her with him tonight. In response, Wolf lifted her in his arms—as if she weighed nothing—and turned to leave the party. His beautiful face looked victorious and happy. His black eyes filled with passion. She hoped that it was because of her. Then he looked down into her small face and gave a hearty roar.
While Wolf carried her in his powerful arms, a dark shadow swooped out of the house and flew directly at them. Linda was knocked out of his strong grasp, while Wolf was thrown across the patio.
She looked up to see who had attacked them. It was Todd, his eyes a deadly shade of green, standing there panting.
Linda backed away in horror. His eyes clearing, Todd looked beseechingly at her. “Don’t ever be afraid of me! I’m here to protect you!”
Then he was struck down by Wolf.
