Another cool review for Tales From Little Lump on Goodreads
https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/764182312
Jay Douglass rated it 4 of 5 stars
It’s not that often that you come across Science Fiction and Comedy together, but Folschinsky nails it.
The whole premise is hilarious but also somewhat real at the same time. Reports of UFO’s and Alien sightings always seem to happen in the middle of nowhere in some God-foresaken place, like Little Lump, Texas.
To be able to write comedy is not easy and to combine it with Sci-Fi takes some crafty writing skill indeed.
The characters such as Aunt Gertie are quirky, and I often don’t laugh out loud, but I did numerous times reading Tales From Little Lump – Alien Season.
I hope there is a sequel.(less)

A hilarious tale about the small town of Little Lump, Texas and what happens when aliens show up without warning.
Is this the end of the world as they know it? Not if Gertie and the customers of Aunt Gertie’s Gas ‘n Sip have anything to say about it.
For them, it’s time to praise the Lord and pass the ammunition, because they are determined not to go down without a fight.
Rating: 8.0/10.0
Review: This short book was packed full of laughter, great dialogue, and interesting characters. Gertie is a down right fitful woman who can kick some major butt! I laughed out loud several times during the book and I finished it feeling happy that I read it. I’d recommend this book to anyone who has an hour or two to kill and wants a good laugh!

Magic Necro
Reblogged from Eclectic Voices:
Part of the Eclectic Voices Halloween Edition
a monologue by Sean M. Kozma
A rather normal looking male, appearing somewhere in his mid-twenties to mid-thirties, dressed casually, stands center stage.
MAN: Okay, first things first, and I really can’t stress this enough -- We. Don’t. Sparkle. Got it? I have had to put up with a lot of fucking Magic Necro bullshit over the years, but that one really takes the cake.
Another great story from Sean Kozma on Eclectic Voices.
The Second Half

a monologue by Mark Bate
Coach: Alright... I'm only gonna to say this one... more... time. Vampires are not, I re-peat, NOT invincible. Occasionally invisible. But not, again, NOT invincible. I don't have tell you guys it's Halloween. H-A-double-L-WEEN. And I sure as fire don't think I have to tell you guys we're gettin our butts kicked out there.
A very funny halloween themed monologue that my friend Mark Bate Wrote for Eclectic Voices.
A Family Affair
Reblogged from Eclectic Voices:
Part of the Eclectic Voices Halloween Edition
by Ken Patton
As the fire roared deep, warm and bright, Benedict sits as close as he can stand it, marveling at how warm his toes are in their slippers. Hearing a contented sigh, he looks down at the cooing toddler snuggled warmly in his arms, fast asleep. Noticing a flicker at his ear, he brushes away an insistent fly that keeps buzzing around his head.
Cool short(ish) story by my friend Ken Patton. That he wrote for Eclectic Voices.
