Some Happy Music to help find your flow....

'Was listening to Pharell Williams and his happy tune was putting me in high spirits and tap my fingers on the table.

Is there ever a reason to be happy?

Sure, if the mind is at ease then it can be elated and tap at any music. Brain is so smart, that it can translate even the dreary kind of music if spirits are high. Co-incidence that Happy was playing and I clapped along...

Being happy,

Wordless Wednesday #35

Last week,  'was at my son's guitar recital, and managed to get a capture of his reflection.

Ever wonder why mirror images make us ruminate seriously versus an actual picture.

Is it cause man is not so bold to look himself in the eye or just too many distractions make the mind wander...

Mantra for today: Sometimes life in black and white is easy to transcribe.

Darn Memories!

Travelled with friends and family by road as a teen.
Mixed
memories erupt.

The good part was the kids and parents travelled with their
age group in different cars, since drivers were hired.

Temperature was blazing outside. That did not dampen the
mood inside the car since windows were rolled up, with a cool draft and junk
food and foot tapping music created paradise around us.

Spotlight for The Revenge of Kaivalya by Sumana Khan

The Revenge of Kaivalya by Sumana Khan

The Blurb

Deep within the womb-like forests of the Western Ghats, an entity manifests itself at the malevolent moment when the ocean rises to devour hundreds of thousands. Kencha, an unwitting witness to Its birth, is soon found dead – his body branded with a strange message written in HaLegannada, an ancient version of

Bow thee Foopers!

Foopers refers to us, the people who are termed as the common man!

Why Foo-pers?
Foo is a universal substitute for something real yet common
per--each of us

Each of us is a real cause we have a body, which if pinched will react. Our emotions can drive us over the hill or can drown us in our own tears. Even though we have a tough life on this planet, we enjoy each phase of our life.

A Journey of a Mom

Dedicating a Haiku to all the Mother's in the world!

A baby is born,

When a woman delivers;

She becomes a Mom.

Becoming a Mom,

Brings a lot of adjustment;

Organization.

Mom takes the challenge,

She brings essential changes;

To nurture her descendent.

Mom is the next name,

For unselfish relation;

Her child comes foremost.

Her caress is soft,

Unconditional divine;

Is her

Roses and Thorns

It was the decade of the nineties, high school was done, and before dispersing on our respective paths, my friends and I wanted to go for ~2 nights stay.

Now in that era, far place would even be a ~50 kms, but the fact that a girl stepping out with her friends for an overnight trip was a jaw dropping question.

How could I? Will they? What if?
Questions were flowing in  my little (cause a

Wordless Wednesday #34

The jet that passed by, left its mark in the sky.

We all want to be remembered when we leave this planet.

What are you doing to be retained in the minds of man?

What footprint are you leaving behind?

Mantra for today: Your deeds will pay forward.

Teaching Children About Spiritual Truth

“Mommy I am scared of the dark”

“I cannot sleep, there are monsters under my bed?”

The above statements are so common amongst moms whose children are growing up and transitioning between home and school. The few hours they spend outside, they mingle with children their age and chances are that their minds get filled up with all sorts of ideas, beliefs and opinions, and it makes them a

An interesting perception!

My son used to love Thomas trains, and his interest was devouring our entire household since we had music playing for those all those hours that we would be awake.

Train sets were lying around and we would nickname every person we came across with Thomas's characters such as Toby, Bertie, Henry, James, Gordon, etc.
Life around us was so British!

Then came the Barney days when everything my kid
