A Letter to Inflation

Dear Inflation,
First of all, I would like to commend on your popularity. You have hit each household and every living being. You are the talk of each gathering, and all of us are conscious of You since You hurt our buying power. As the prices are rising, we have to pay more for the same goods and services.

Are you Normal?
Picked up my kid from school and as we were waiting for the green signal, we saw a funky kid crossing the road on his roller blades with his earphones.
He had tattoos and piercings. Whatever I would hate was visible on this teen. I eyed my boy who was sitting behind from the rear view mirror and saw how he was scrutinizing him.
"That kid is not normal?" I commented quickly
"Oh!" came a

Waiting for my kid in the parking lot, I see these two palm trees.
What caught my attention is that lanky yet sturdy trunk that is making the tree stand tall with confidence and challenge all kinds of weather. Needless to say, it's root are profound but not as widespread thus defying the law of physics of balance and weight shift.
This attribute makes me come back to us, humans!

What a day!
Paula is scrubbing the floor as she adjusts her hair behind her ear with the backside of her hand. She picks up the leftover plates, cups from the corners of the room and neatly tucks the decorations away.
Finally, she plops hard on the couch, and admires her room as she crosses her legs and taps them hard.
“Aha! The house is spick and span” she says in a soft tone.
Gets up to change, takes

Dear Dad
A Mom and a Dad are the pre-requisites of life for all human beings. There are most who are fortunate to get their love and attention, and there are some, who don't.
Characteristics of a Dad
A Dad is supposed to be the bread earner of the family, and he always takes on the responsibility for keeping his family safe and happy. He is supposed to be the IRON-MAN of his family and the children

Good byes!
They are usually tough since memories are attached to them. What I realized that as we mature, they become harder.
My kid had to say his byes from his elementary classmates as he ventures onto another platform, and all those kids were as cool as a cucumber!!
Mantra for today: Memories are associated with the lack of forgetfulness; thus it is okay to blackout, sometimes!

Our Voice and Connection to our Selves
As kids, we have been instructed to use our outer voice, but never has anybody imparted knowledge on channeling our inner expressions.
Outer voice is usually associated with loud talking, which we all do when out in the open or amongst friends. This kind of sound also gives a gush of adrenaline, since man is in high spirits, and shouting and laughing are common ingredients to make this kind of

Priorities
Alex was typing vigorously while keeping a keen eye on his phone. Messages were blaring at a Nano second, and this was making him flustered.
“I have to finish it before he arrives.” He uttered as he tapped his feet and rubbed his eyes while sitting up to regain composure over his disturbed mind.
Just then there was a message, and he could not control his tears, “Congrats you have a
