Nutty Avengers REBUTTED
Remember my previous post about the cast of the Avengers films making an extremely condescending and irritatingly bad ad for HRC?
Excuse me while I give an evil grin hidden behind the digital confines of my computer monitor.
Words cannot even describe the joy I had watching this video, so naturally I had to share it on my blog.
What these damn actors didn’t seem to comprehend in the first video, was that they don’t represent the entirety of America. They live in high walled mansions and go to LAX with armed body guards. All while telling average Joe Americans that Trump’s wall is a stupid idea and that we need “common sense gun control”. These hypocritical actors couldn’t even tell you the difference between an automatic and a semi-automatic weapon, but they think they know what common sense gun control is. These actors live in mansions with tall fences and expensive security systems, while encouraging the government to bring in more migrants or illegal immigrants that will flood the average small county.
I hope this video goes viral and serves as a small lesson to these self-professed “famous actors” that their opinions don’t matter to us. Yes, they have the right to say them. But they’re not free from the consequences of saying them. What they will never understand, is that they single handedly helped bring MORE votes to the GOP with their idiotic commercial.
So thanks, famous actors… From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
For nothing.

Nutty Avengers
So this is a bit of old news, but I felt that it needed to be mentioned again. Because if people honestly found my diversity video more offensive than this, they need an ass kicking.
Last week I went online as so many of us do and discovered that some of the Avengers cast and other actors had made a commercial that was not only anti-Trump, but also about as arrogant and condescending as they come. People had the nerve to say I’m condescending for having the audacity to defend myself and my position in my diversity video. No. I tell the truth. And this is yet another truth.
The cast of the Avengers need a massive smack down.
Watch this ad and then tell me (even if you support HRC) that it’s not extremely condescending.
First of all, the thought of seeing Mark Ruffalo naked does nothing for me. It’s cringe worthy. Keep it zipped, Mark.
Second, these celebrities used to always be on the bandwagon of telling everyone to “go vote”. It supposedly didn’t matter who we voted for, because the act of voting was more important.
Not anymore. We’re being told a bunch of libtard, yuppie, arrogant, rich, elitist pricks that we need to vote for Clinton. Even though her name isn’t even brought up, the message is loud and clear.
I’m most disappointed in Downey. This guy walked out on an interview with a famous English reporter who dared to ask him if he was a liberal. Rather than answering the question after the guy kept pestering him, he walked away. It was a thing of beauty. Now Downey is participating in an ad that’s indirectly (and directly) telling us poor little plebs how to vote. I would like to think that maybe Downey wasn’t given the whole script and that he didn’t realize how this atrocious ad would be put together. But something tells me that’s not the case. *sigh* Why Downey, why?
Hollywood has always been known as liberal. The entirety of California is liberal. It’s expected and not a surprise. But to tell the American people that this issue was so important that “a whole lot of famous people” came out of their high wall mansions to tell the average Joe what was best for them is true definition of arrogance. And condescending.
Go back to acting Avengers. Persuasive arguments aren’t your strong suit..

Internet Thievery
Even though I only have a tiny blog and I’m proud to live in a state that wants to put a stop to this lunacy, I can’t help but feel repulsed. If you thought kicking Milo off of Twitter was bad, if you thought Conservative political commentators getting their monetization taken away on YouTube was bad, if you thought Facebook blocking people for right-wing opinionated pro-Trump posts was bad, you haven’t seen anything yet.
Four state attorneys general filed a lawsuit in Texas to stop the Obama Administration from giving control of the Internet to an international organization that lists several authoritarian regimes as advisers on its board.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was joined by Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt, and Nevada Attorney General Adam Paul Laxalt. The lawsuit was filed in Texas in U.S. District Court Southern District of Texas, Galveston Division. The “Plaintiff States” are seeking declaratory and injunctive relief against the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA); the United States of America; the United States Department of Commerce; the Secretary of Commerce; and the Assistant Secretary for Communications and Information.
The complaint, attached below, states that “This suit involves the Federal Government Defendants’ stated plan to abandon NTIA’s option rights under its contract with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (“ICANN”) … cancel its cooperative agreement with Verisign, Inc. (“Verisign”) … referred to as the “Cooperative Agreement”; delegate its authority to approve changes to the Internet’s root zone file; and otherwise take steps to cede U.S. government trusteeship over functions that it has deemed are ‘vital to the stability and correct functioning of the Internet,’ without statutory authority to do so and in violation of the Property Clause of the U.S. Constitution and the First Amendment.” These state attorneys general charge that “NTIA’s proposed actions are unlawful and should be temporarily restrained and enjoined.”
ICANN has always been overseen by the U.S. Commerce Department but the federal government’s contract with ICANN is set to expire on September 30th. The Obama Administration, Texas Attorney General Paxton says, “announced it plans to let ICANN become fully independent. As a result, authoritarian regimes like Russia, China, and Iran will now have the ability to interfere with what should be a free and open internet.”
The lawsuit argues that the Obama Administration plan “violates the Property Clause of the U.S. Constitution by giving away government property without congressional authorization, the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution by chilling speech, and the Administrative Procedure Act by acting beyond statutory authority.”
“Trusting authoritarian regimes to ensure the continued freedom of the Internet is lunacy,” Attorney General Paxton said. “The president does not have the authority to simply give away America’s pioneering role in ensuring that the Internet remains a place where free expression can flourish.”
Breitbart Texas spoke to Arizona AG Mark Brnovich who stressed: “This is a very important issue, but unfortunately people are not paying attention to it. It is important to raise these issues and concerns which unfortunately should have been addressed by Congress.” He referred to the discussion of the threats as “a parade of horribles” that have been dismissed.

For weeks I’ve heard about YouTube’s Heroes program and seen in action how it directly attempts to censor what we can see on YouTube according to some PC snowflakes who are trying to tell us what’s appropriate vs. what’s not.
Even so, I never thought in a million years that I would see a time when the U.S. President tried to hand over the internet to foreign bodies that don’t share the United State’s values of free speech and will actively try to destroy it. But after Obama’s speech to the U.N. last week where he openly admitted that he would be willing to hang over our freedoms in exchange for a more globalist vision of the future, I shouldn’t be surprised.
I’ve seen the dark side of the internet. I’ve even been the target of left-wing “tolerant” mobs that seek to destroy others who dare to have a different opinion. But I would never try to limit the internet in such a way where information couldn’t be accessed by anyone who seeks it.
It amazes me that so many readers in the BookTube community read works by George Orwell such as Animal Farm and 1984. Yet no one can see the signs of such patterns taking place right before their eyes in the real world.

Diversity Police vs. Tim Burton
The court will now hear the case of the Diversity Police vs. Tim Burton.
What was the supposed crime? Tim Burton didn’t have enough “diversity” in his recent film Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.
Okay, Rachel Simon. Let’s examine the evidence.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is a novel written by Ransom Riggs. It’s also a novel I’ve recently read. Half the novel takes place in modern times and another half in the past. Which isn’t even really a spoiler because movie trailers make it where you don’t have to spend $8 on a movie ticket anymore.
Aside from the time period being in 1940’s during the height of World War II in Europe, it also takes place on a remote island off the coast of Wales with a very small population. I don’t think it would be a stretch to say that for accuracy purposes, one can’t really argue that there was a whole lot of “diversity” in such a setting and such a time period. Let’s face it. It was probably predominantly white.
But in today’s snowflake SJW easily triggered self-righteous society where facts and accuracy don’t matter, it wasn’t enough for Burton to go along with the book’s description of the characters (which isn’t saying much because from what I understand Burton deviates from the book quite a bit). He also needed to pander to modern ideas of what the world currently looks like (in countries such as the United States, Europe, and Australia, no where else) by adding in a few characters of color or varying ethnic groups.
Burton states, quite accurately, that the story didn’t call for it. But that wasn’t enough for self-righteous Ms. Simon. Burton obviously holds some deep inner bias toward people of color because he didn’t throw in unnecessary characters or ethnic groups that not only didn’t fit the narrative, but aren’t even historically accurate. And refusing to please the Diversity Police who are constantly arguing for identity politics is a big no no.
Yet again, when artists/writers/film directors etc. do what they want with a story and tell it through pain staking days, weeks, or even years of hard work, it isn’t enough. Especially if we don’t cater to a victim-hood mentality that claims if we don’t throw in characters of various races, ethnic groups, or sexualities, we obviously don’t have any empathy for the plight of minorities.
Creative expression isn’t enough, Mr. Burton. We must also follow a strict guideline of politically correct bullshit in order to avoid all encounters with SJWs who use terms like “there is no excuse”.
Newsflash Ms. Simon. If you have time to worry about minorities in a big budget Hollywood film, you clearly aren’t living in a country where people are being oppressed. And taking to Twitter to shame someone for having a different opinion than you makes you complicit in social media cesspool activity, which one might claim is a crime of inferior character.
Rachel Simon, your claims have been denied.
Case closed.

New Orleans or Bust? Maybe Just Bust.
My mother’s side of the family have been natives to Louisiana since the very late 17th century. They immigrated from Germany during a time of great turmoil and warfare occurring in Germany. I can’t even imagine how terrified it must have been for my distant relative to travel across an ocean in a wooden boat with no idea what he would encounter. Apparently, people in Germany were being given small pamphlets or brochures (whatever the proper old German term was for it) that claimed Louisiana was a wonderful area where one could create a new life. He (my great grandfather MANY generations back) had no idea that he was headed for a miserably hot swamp land. But I’m sure it sounded better than the war torn Germany he fled.
I’ve had this itch to move to New Orleans since I was in high school. My mother was born and raised there. My parents met there. Dated there. Got married there. New Orleans held a mysticism and romance in my mind that can’t really be described, even though I gave it a good effort in my book, The Keeper’s Realm.
Then Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005 during my junior year of high school. My family watched in horror as the city torn itself apart. The chaos led to the baddies of the baddies flocking to the city to lay claim on whatever they could. The city is still recovering. I could see it when I was there back in April. It was nice visiting it again. I even started having the old feeling coming back that I’d like to experience the sights and sounds of New Orleans again by moving there one day. My friend Katrina (yep, she hates the fact that the hurricane has her name attached) told me, “New Orleans is a place you go. Not a place you live.” I ignored her for a time, thinking that maybe I just needed to learn for myself what it would be like to live there one day.
Now I’m not sure anymore. For the second time in my life, I’m doubting whether or not I will ever take the plunge to live in a city I have adored from afar and heard endless stories about through my mother’s family.
NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana – The Crescent City is a “magnet” for illegal immigrants, said Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry who lambasted the City’s ‘sanctuary’ policies on Capitol Hill.
In front of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security, Landry criticized the policies of New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu (D) and the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), which prohibit law enforcement from asking residents about their immigration status.
Landry rhetorically asked Committee members why being in the United States illegally was not a reason to deport an individual back to their native country.
“All that does is lead to those people committing additional crimes and thinking it’s okay to break the law,” Landry said, according to Fox News.
Landry, who has been fighting for a ban on sanctuary cities since he assumed office last year, told the Committee that New Orleans’ policies are increasing crime and driving up taxes.
“Los Angeles saw all crime rise in 2015: violent crime up 19.9 percent, homicides up 10.2 percent, shooting victims up 12.6 percent, rapes up 8.6 percent, robberies up 12.3 percent, and aggravated assault up 27.5 percent,” Landry told the committee, according to the Washington Examiner.
Specifically, Landry spoke about the recent death of 36-year-old St. John District Fire Chief Spencer Chauvin of Gramercy, Louisiana and two other victims who were killed after an illegal immigrant drove a bus into an ongoing, minor car crash, as Breitbart Texas reported.
Along with Chauvin, the illegal immigrant bus driver and Honduran national Denis Yasmir Amaya Rodriguez killed 33 year-old Vontarous Kelly and 21-year-old Jermaine Starr in the crash.
Rodriguez, who was driving the bus full of illegal immigrant workers, was headed to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to find low-skilled work in the aftermath of the region’s devastating flood which destroyed more than 60,000 homes.
The company which reportedly hired the illegal workers, WRS, is owned by local Louisiana Constable Eddie Schmidt, as well as David Wallace, a state legislator in Arkansas, as Breitbart Texas reported at the time.
Landry said the case was just one example where illegal immigrants have taken advantage of sanctuary city policies, making it even harder to deport illegal immigrants convicted of crimes.
The use of foreign illegal immigrant workers is not a common trend in the state.
Similar the state’s current flooding disaster, Hurricane Katrina in 2005 brought out a slew of foreign nationals who were hired illegally by contractors and home-repair companies to do the work gutting and rebuilding properties.
Landry pushed for statewide ban on sanctuary cities earlier this year. Despite being widely supported by residents in the state, the legislation was blocked by state Democrats who gutted the bill in order to render it ineffective.
Before the committee hearing, Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) echoed Landry’s concerns with New Orleans’ status as a sanctuary city, calling the policies “outrageous” on his Facebook page.
“By hindering federal immigration officers’ ability to apprehend criminal aliens, the Justice Department consciously disregards the safety and security of the American public by enabling the release of these criminals back into our communities to commit more crimes,” Gowdy wrote.

When officers of the law aren’t even allowed to ask the status of someone’s immigration or their citizenship, I get more than scared. I get terrified. This tells me that officers aren’t being permitted to do their jobs. It reminds me of the current political climate in Sweden. When rape victims report their sexual assault, they aren’t allowed to identify the ethnicity of their attackers. Why? Because the rape epidemic by the migrants coming in has Sweden being called the new Rape Capitol of Europe.
When officers aren’t even permitted to do their jobs by asking the status of someone’s citizenship, it encourages others to enter the country illegally to find work. It encourages companies to hire illegal immigrants for lower wages over the citizens of New Orleans, which inevitably causes wages to drop across the board. It also encourages an atmosphere that tells illegals coming in that our tolerance will permit values that don’t coincide with American ones.
Sorry, New Orleans. But we are yet again on a temporary break. Let’s hope things get better.

Changes Afoot
I made a big decision yesterday. I decided to delete my website and operate from my blog. The blog that I abandoned on the advice of a friend because all writers “should have a professional website.” Maybe that’s true. But I ran into a few hiccups along the way. Aside from being very non-techy and always having trouble with various aspects of updating the site, the WordPress website design process made me want to shoot myself. So I’m back to blogging.
I noticed that when I had a blog with my website, I never wanted to write in it. Primarily because the feedback on my actual blog was so much better. I could see my analytics and get more involved with other writers. So here we are. It’s good to be back.
Please note that there are going to be some dramatic changes in how I do things.
For those of you who don’t know, I made a very controversial video a few weeks ago. It tackled the topic of “diversity” in books and how the word has turned into a weapon against both authors and readers. I noticed that several authors were being attacked for having a cast of primarily white characters. That’s racist! Not. Then the opposite occurred. Other authors were being attacked for having characters of another ethnicity, race, or sexuality differing from their own. That’s totally cultural appropriation! Not.
Here’s the truth. I’ve never taken identity politics into consideration when reading or writing a story. I don’t go looking for a reflection of my physical appearance in a character or in the author. I can only recall what maybe six or seven authors I enjoy reading even look like. Because quite frankly, I don’t care. When I pick up a book, I look at the description. I read the inner flap or the back to get a feel for whether or not I will like the story. That’s it. The fact that it’s become a trend to identify the author’s appearance, then grade their work on whether or not it’s “diverse” is some of the most vile, far leftist, snowflake, SJW idiocy I have ever encountered. I said all this and more in my video. Needless to say, some leftists didn’t like it very much. My video that was meant for my 700 subscribers that usually give my video about 100 views skyrocketed to over 21K in a week. I’ve been called every name in the book. Racist. White supremacist. Bigot. KKK. Etc. All the usual far leftist names when they don’t actually have an argument or they want to play the victim card.
I will never understand this mentality and I intend to fight it on my blog and on my YouTube channel in the future. Because harassing authors for not catering to your special safe space, micro-aggression, trigger warning, my feelings count over everything BULLSHIT is my not bag. I’m not going to do it. If you have time to worry about equal representation in novels as a legitimate form of oppression, NEWSFLASH, you’re searching for a problem where there isn’t one and you’re not being oppressed. You’ve probably never been outside the US and seen real oppression like I have. Neither have you ever done a job where people didn’t give a shit about your identity or sexuality, but you’re skills. If you want to see yourself in a novel, write your own damn book. Period! Authors don’t owe you a thing. We are not your bitch!
I refuse to pander to these snowflakes who are primarily under the age of 25 and don’t have any real or tangible life experience other than their precious feelings.
Prepare for a different kind of Bre. The Princess of Darkness. The bringer of truths. The bitchy Hufflepuff. I plan to use this blog in the future not only to talk about books and writing, but also about things that make me passionate and a little bit crazy. I will discuss politics. I will discuss things I see in the writing world or the world in general that piss me off. And I don’t have time for anyone’s feelings or the left’s favorite term… “That’s offensive”. No time or fucks will be given. The more politically incorrect, the better.
You leftists who attacked my video have no one to blame but yourselves. You did this. I was a nice little Hufflepuff who wanted to right a wrong. Who wanted to point out some really bad behavior and make it right. For doing so, I was attacked. The reason why? Your precious little feelings were “offended” by my video.
So yes, you did this. The Princess of Darkness is here to stay. I will never be silenced. So prepare yourselves for my palace of horrors, where few can endure my tortures.
To everyone else, welcome aboard! I hope you stick around and subscribe. Things are going to get down and dirty really fast.

Forever a Panster
Ground breaking news today.
Not really, but we’ll pretend.
I actually planned out the next five or so chapters of my current work in progress. That’s saying a lot from a discovery writer. I can sometimes know where things are going a tiny bit in advance, but not five chapters.
Will I use the plans I set forward? I dunno.
Will I end up being a planner from here on out? Unlikely.
But the point is, I’m trying to change how I work. Kinda. Not really. We’ll wait and see. Almost every single book I read out there about writing talks about how you have to be at least a tiny bit of a planner if you want to achieve greatness. I hate this attitude. But I have had some recent inspiration regarding where my story is going. And I want to push myself in a new way. This new way includes trying to plan. A little.
Usually I get to writing and the words take control. Then I veer away from what I planned and things just take on their own life without me having to put a great amount of effort in it. But granted that this story has nearly 80k of trashed words, I think I need to plan a tiny bit.
As a devoted discovery/panster writer, this is big for me. I have no idea if it will work, but I’m willing to try new things after reading ‘2k-10k’ and ‘5k In An Hour.’
Here’s to progress.
This has been a bullshit blog entry because I felt the need to blog. Sorry.
