English is the new racism

I had an interesting experience while at a friend’s house recently.

We were all sitting around the television watching Golden Girls. One of the characters walked into the scene and said something that I didn’t find particularly offensive, but the leftist beside me did. The woman in the scene claimed that she could probably walk around Ecuador easier than Miami because no one in Miami spoke English anymore. The young woman beside me said, “I didn’t know she was racist.”

Part of this surprised me. Other parts of it didn’t. By the character claiming that when she was asking for directions she couldn’t find a soul that spoke English, she was deemed racist. I’ve seen people labeled as racist before for the mere aggravation of wanting someone working behind a counter in a store to speak English a little better. Apparently, by wanting to preserve the dominant language in the U.S., you’re racist. At least by today’s standards of what qualifies as being racist.

Yes, America is comprised of immigrants (or in earlier days settlers) from all sorts of countries. But one thing the founding fathers did that many aren’t aware of is fight for a common language and assimilation of foreigners into an American way of life. They expressed dislike for the Pennsylvania Dutch because they nested in their own community and refused to assimilate with others. Many also believe that immigrants from European countries came to the U.S. because they found American values amazing and the second they set foot on American soil, they felt American. Because magic soil transforms one’s values instantaneously, right?

Not so much. Something like 3/4 (I say something like because I don’t have the exact figure on me at the moment) came to America for work related reasons, got some money, then went back to Europe. Only 1/4 chose to stay and embrace the American way of life. Some immigrants today are the same. Especially illegal immigrants. They don’t come to the United States because they desire to absorb the same ideals and virtues as Americans. They want jobs. They want to send money home. Then some (not all) go back to their native countries. The jobs here provide more than they can make at home while driving down wages for average Americans seeking jobs.

When I heard this comment, I was reminded of all this. The mere act of desiring for the preservation of American culture and the predominant language being English is racist now. It might be only a matter of time before the American flag is racist too.

Oh wait, I already wrote about that. The state flag was banned from a recent Ole Miss football game because it was deemed offensive.

Being separate from American ideals is becoming the new norm.

I’m having visions of the founding fathers shaking their heads in disgust. Everything they built is steadily being broken down for the sake of appearing politically correct. Most other countries in the world have a single dominant language. But for an American to want such a thing is racist. I can see a Japanese person getting irritated if someone in a grocery store didn’t speak Japanese very well. But I guess desiring the preservation of one’s culture is selfish. That is… if you’re American.

Hades is a lesbian now?

I woke up this morning to a text from a friend. He informed me that Samantha from ThoughtsOnTomes had posted a new video on YouTube where she is reading a book about Hades being a woman and having a lesbian affair with Persephone.

Take a moment to let that one sink in.

Okay, are you done laughing?

Let’s begin.

I knew this trend was going to get worse after the reaction to my initial diversity video. Rather than people actually seeing that their fight for identity politics in books was beyond ridiculous and the exact opposite of what Dr. Martin Luther King wanted, they defended it in a way that only true SJWs can. Through vile comments and throwing around words like racist and white supremacist because I had the nerve to bring up the decline in the white birthrate. Quite frankly, it’s a typical millennial snowflake leftist reaction at this point.

I knew that ThoughtsOnTomes would be at the top of this SJW list because it was her tweet condemning one of her subscribers that I discussed in the initial video. She promptly took it down and replaced it with one bashing me. Or rather virtue signaling how awful I was and how my video was ‘trash.’ I’m still chuckling on the inside.

screenshot-46

One would think that a young woman who survived a cancer wouldn’t need personal validation via social media, but I digress.

The fact that a book like this got published (I don’t know the name of it because I don’t want to draw anymore attention to it than necessary) is the exact problem that I have with the traditional publishing industry right now. The intentions behind it are quite obvious and everything that I’ve come to hate about third wave feminism and social justice. And the precise reason why I self-publish. Traditional publishing has become such a massive virtue signaling party that Vox Day had to start a campaign called Sad Puppies just to make sure the Hugo Awards weren’t stolen by SJWs in the publishing industry as they had been for years. And rather than admitting that the publishing industry hadn’t been choosing their selection of books from more diverse viewpoints or by conservative authors or genre authors, the leaders of the Hugo Awards threatened to shut down the awards in response. Talk about tolerant and open minded leftists.

Back to the book…

When women take the place of men in stories that have already been done with a male character, I find it lacking creativity. The new Ghostbusters film is a perfect example of this. The men in the original film obviously did it better. And by insisting that women take on those roles, they don’t realize that they’re reaffirming the superiority of the patriarchy.

Making Hades a female seems unnecessary and is trying way too hard to  pander to women who feel slighted by the horrible god-awful wretched oppressive patriarchy, that pretty much gave them everything they enjoy under the sun. Without having read it (I admit it openly because I don’t want to go through that kind of pain), I can only assume that a younger demographic have a desire to read it because it has a, dare I say it, “diverse” cast of characters. When in reality it sounds like a porno. A really bad one.

Why was the lesbian relationship necessary? Was it done to make a point? Could writing a modern retelling of Hades and Persephone be enough without having to change Hades into a woman or make the characters lesbians? Or maybe Hades has gone trans at this point. Who knows?

For all I know, the story might be well written. But I have to wonder what the agent thought of this manuscript after receiving the query letter. Something like, ‘Wow, a myth retelling. And it’s totally progressive! Win win! It will sell like hot cakes.’

Something that really pissed off a few leftists in my original video was the fact that I pointed out one truth that people often don’t like to hear. Homosexuals only comprise about 4% of the United States population. Most people think it’s around 15-25%. So knowing this, then going online and seeing people push for Captain America having a gay boyfriend, I have to roll my eyes and wonder where this stuff stops. Captain American doesn’t need to be gay to fill a certain diversity quota in the Marvel universe. As Milo Yiannopoulos has stated many times, quite truthfully, gays are over represented in the media/fiction/and everywhere else. Do I want fewer gays? No, of course not. I really don’t care. And that’s the basic concept people don’t understand. The majority of the public doesn’t care. They just want accuracy and good characters. If that character happens to be gay, fine. Whatever floats the author’s boat.

Writers should have the freedom to write what they want without the fear of stigma attached or being called racist because they had the audacity to write what they know rather than pandering to millennials who think a lack of book representation is the height of modern day oppression. The author of this book wrote what she/he wanted to write. More power to that author and I hope this author enjoyed the experience of writing it. However, I think it’s quite obvious why this book was published… and why it’s being widely read.

The publishing industry is one big virtue signaling party.

The Long Road to Recovery

Louisiana is no stranger to massive floods of water. Or being ignoring when in need.

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana – Scammers and fraudulent relief efforts are directly targeting Louisiana’s flood victims, U.S. Attorney Walt Green announced during a National Center for Disaster Fraud press conference.

More than 1,200 scams have been targeted at flood victims in the region, according to theAssociated Press (AP). More than 68,000 fraud complaints have been filed in the region in the region from at least 40 disasters since 2005’s Hurricane Katrina.

Green said that over 50,000 of those complaints have been referred to local authorities and law enforcement agencies.

Scammers following disasters usually come in the form of federal emergency aid and phony contractors who are looking to scam homeowners.

Green told the media that fraudsters are already defrauding residents who have seen disaster during Hurricane Matthew. He said they have already received one call coming in about a scam.

This is not the first case where Louisiana flood victims have seen more than just flood disaster, but also a blackout of media coverage, obliviousness from politicians and a lack of monetary help from donors.

My home state has now experienced two massive disasters in the last couple of decades. Between this recent flood and Hurricane Katrina, I feel as though it has earned the right receive all the help it requires. Unfortunately, most of the main stream media and our current politicians don’t feel that way. And how could they? It was widely ignored and not reported on by the main steam media. Some might say it’s indifference and others might claim it’s because Donald Trump looked rather presidential by going down to meet the flood victims and help with the aid process. Heaven forbid he gets caught doing something for a good cause.

Few people realize that Louisiana (particularly Baton Rouge) received 6.9 trillion gallons of water in one week. That’s enough to completely bury any city in the country.

Regardless, I hope that my home state can recover. I’ve called old friends to ask how they’re doing. One was fortunate enough to have the water only go up to his front porch. Others had their entire homes flooded and had to retreat to the attic.

My aunt-in-law told me about a neighbor of hers. She was cleaning up the ground floor of her home after the flood water left the house. She opened one of her cabinets to retrieve her family’s china. It all came crashing down and shattered on the floor. She took in a deep breathe, turned around, looked to the ceiling, and like any good and classy southern lady, she said, “They weren’t my favorites.”

That’s the kind of strength southern women are known to have.

I want the south to thrive. But even I know that people have their limits. So to hear that my home state is being treated this way, completely forgotten yet again, breaks my heart.

But Trump used the word “pussy” in a recording several years ago. Apparently that’s more important.

Thank you, Breitbart.com. When so few are looking to my home state and offering help, your articles bring awareness.

Beware of Useful Idiots

Screenshot (44).png

The lovely Tiana Dalichov tweeted this out earlier this morning. I had to feature it not only because of it’s accuracy, but because I see these patterns already taking place.

What do leftists carry on about the most?

Healthcare is a right, not a privilege. (Reference #1)

The virtuous poor and the evil rich.  (Reference #2)

Tax increases on all those who make a certain income. (Reference #3)

Guns are bad. Bad bad bad. You plebs can’t be trusted with them. (Reference #4)

Anyone who has concerns about the sustainability of the welfare state hates the poor. (Reference #5)

Federalized education is the best way to educate our young. Home schooling is bad. (Reference #6)

Christians are bigots who hate gays. All white Christians are white supremacists.(Reference #7)

Black Lies Matter. Bring more illegal immigrants. And some “migrants” from Arab nations that we’re currently at war with. What could go wrong? (Reference #8)

I’m starting to realize why all my history classes prior to becoming a history major stopped at the Industrial Revolution. Heaven forbid kids learned socialism and communism weren’t such great ideas.

Cuckservatives Strike Back

I’m new to being a conservative, but I feel as though I can spot a cuckservative when I see one. Or two. Or a whole gang of them who see their future being threatened by a man who wants to shake things up for a govt that’s been playing hookie for far too long.

As WikiLeaks prepared its dump of devastating emails from Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta, video and audio of Donald J. Trump—the Republican nominee for president—making off-color comments about women while with George H.W. Bush’s nephew, Billy Bush. were leaked.

George H.W. Bush, the former president, is voting for Hillary Clinton for president, Politico reported a few weeks ago. One of his sons, former President George W. Bush, has told people to vote in November but did not tell them who to vote for. And now his nephew is at the center of a disparaging tape on which Trump made lewd remarks about women. Both Trump and Billy Bush have apologized for the comments they made on the video.

But anti-Trump forces in the media, at the Washington Post which broke the story, and other outlets, have engineered it into a major scandal. And the Bushes and anti-Trump Republicans appear at the center of every turn in it.

Almost instantly, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush—a bitter Trump rival who has broken his pledge to support the eventual GOP nominee for president—denounced Trump, as did failed 2012 Republican nominee and fellow anti-Trump activist Mitt Romney.

As butthurt Jeb and Romney go on and on about how awful Donald Trump is for making lewd comments about women in a locker room several years ago (which is nothing worse than how women speak to each other in private. ‘Sex and the City’ in a six season long case study in the dirty talk women participate in). I’m sitting here wondering why more people aren’t talking about how Killary repeatedly went after the women who her husband raped and threatened them into silence. I’m wondering about the US internet handover to the UN. I’m wondering if my town is going to be bombarded by Muslim migrants in the coming year.

But let’s face it, Trump engaging in dirty talk in a bathroom is what really matters.

Is this an appeal from the cuckservatives to virtue signal to their leftist buddies, or are these guys seriously not concerned about the future of the US as they chat about how they would never condone such remarks? There’s a lot for them to be butthurt over given that Trump has succeeded in ways they never did.

@JebBush

As the grandfather of two precious girls, I find that no apology can excuse away Donald Trump’s reprehensible comments degrading women.

6:05 PM – 7 Oct 2016

@MittRomney

Hitting on married women? Condoning assault? Such vile degradations demean our wives and daughters and corrupt America’s face to the world.

7:10 PM – 7 Oct 2016

I can only imagine that these guys are truly concerned for the well being of their granddaughters and married women, but just not yours. Cuckservatives continue to allow our borders to remain open to illegal immigrants and continue negotiating how many migrants will enter the US in the upcoming year. But then again, they have nothing to worry about because they live in big mansions with fences and probably personal security of some kind. Or a really fancy alarm system.

This is the definition of a cuckservative to me. Now granted, I’m new at this, but I think I can recognize one when I see the symptoms.

Gun Control by Executive Order

Because that’s totally gonna fix things…

The batch of emails released by Wikileaks on October 7 includes one in which Hillary Clinton press secretary Brian Fallon explained that Clinton “would support…closing the gun show loophole by executive order.”

Fallon also highlighted Clinton’s support of universal background checks–which have already failed in California, Colorado, Washington state, and Paris–and her support for a scenario wherein victims of crime would be able to sue gun manufacturers.

In the email, dated October 4, 2015, Fallon mentions that Today had made clear they were going to ask Clinton about guns. At that time she was still locked in a tougher stance than expected primary opponent Bernie Sanders. Fallon wrote:

“Circling back around on guns as a follow up to the Friday morning discussion: the Today show has indicated they definitely plan to ask bout guns, and so to have the discussion be more of a news event than her previous times discussing guns, we are going to background reporters tonight on a few of the specific proposals she would support as President – universal background checks of course, but also closing the gun show loophole by executive order and imposing manufacturer liability.”

So let me get this straight, Killary… the gun show loophole wouldn’t have stopped a single mass shooting from happening, but that’s your plan on ‘common sense gun control.’ There isn’t a damn thing you can do to stop individual sales. They will always occur regardless of what the law says.

If we’re going to start suing gun manufacturers for what people do with their weapons, it’s only logical that we start suing car manufacturers when someone drinks and drives then kills someone on the highway.

Drunk drivers don’t kill people. Cars do!

Responsible Gun Owners Save Lives

An article from Breitbart (because how many other news networks are worth listening to during an age when Russia MSM has more transparency than the US)?

An employee of a jewelry store in Conroe, Texas, pulled an AK-47 from behind the counter to stop four would-be armed robbers. One of the armed robbers opened fire and multiple employees returned fire, killing the suspect.

Jeffery Turner, Jr., owner of Jeff’s Jewelry Store in Conroe, told police that four men entered his store and demanded jewelry, purses and other items. At least one of the robbers displayed a firearm, according to Montgomery County Police Reporter’s Scott Engle. One of Turner’s employees responded by pulling an AK-47 semi-automatic rifle from behind the counter. The gunman fired at the store employees and a firefight ensued. At least three employees were said to have fired weapons at the robbery suspects.

The suspect who began shooting was struck and killed in the gun fight. The other three suspects escaped in a white Dodge Charger. Police found the Charger not far from the scene of the robbery. The suspects in the failed robbery attempt had abandoned the car and remain at large, Engle reported.

Police have not yet released the identity of the deceased suspect.

The attempted robbery took place on Monday afternoon at about 12:30 p.m.

Turner’s attorney, E. Tay Bond, spoke with the Conroe Courier’s Catherine Dominguez. “You always have a right to defend yourself, especially when the robber shoots at you.” Bond confirmed that Turner keeps an AK-47 in the store for defensive purposes.

The AK-47 rifle is manufactured in both automatic and semi-automatic models. In a semi-automatic weapon you must pull the trigger each time you want to fire. An automatic weapon will fire as long as you hold the trigger, until you run out of ammunition.

Conroe Police Department’s Lt. Dorcy McGinnis told the Conroe newspaper, “There was a lot of gunfire. She reported the store’s windows were broken out from the “bullet spray.”

Texas’ “Castle Doctrine” laws allow a business owner or employee to have a weapon for self-defense and to use that weapon to protect their life and the lives of others.

Turner’s store had previously been robbed in 2014 when a group of men smashed through the glass door with a sledgehammer. At that time, Dominguez reported, one of the employees grabbed a shotgun and the would-be robbers said, “They’ve got guns. Let’s get out of here.”

The store employees were able to successfully stop the robbery and protect the lives of other employees and customers who were threatened by the armed gunmen.

A search for the suspects, which included support from a Drug Enforcement Agency helicopter, was not successful and the police manhunt continues. It has not been reported if any of the other suspects were injured in the hail of gunfire.

First of all, I love how this article actually explains the difference between an automatic and a semi-automatic weapon. Given that the majority of pro-gun control advocates don’t know the damn difference and are unaware of the fact that you need a very special permit to get an automatic weapon. They’re not available to the average gun owner and an automatic weapon has never been used in a US mass shooting.

Second, look forward to me posting lots of these kinds of stories in the future. Because they are rarely shown to the public. Sure, the whole world will know if there’s a mass shooting where the bad guy wins, but the MSM hardly ever shows it when a responsible gun owner saves the day and uses the Second Amendment in the way it’s supposed to be used. To protect oneself from criminals and those seeking to overpower the weak.

Third. Notice how the article mentions that this shop had been robbed before. The criminals had the exact same reaction that most criminals have when they realize that their potential victim is armed. They ran. Twice. The bad guys will always target those they think are unarmed. Until they realize you can fight back.

State Flag Banning

When I was in high school, we had to do two pledges. The pledge of allegiance to the Texas flag, and then another to the United States flag. Only as I get older do I really take  pride in my patriotism, because I know what veterans have fought so hard to protect.

I’ve seen articles about the UK and other countries in Europe banning the use of their own flags so they won’t offend Muslim migrants. I naively thought to myself that the US is way too patriotic to ever get that crazy.

An Ole Miss student was arrested during the University’s football game against the University of Memphis Tigers after brandishing the Mississippi State Flag.

Dylan Wood, a third-year Ole Miss student told Breitbart Texas he was simply enjoying the game when a security officer approached him and said he had to take his mini version of the Mississippi flag from him because it was larger than what the stadium allows.

Wood said he agreed to leave the game and exited the Ole Miss stadium without any issues. Once outside, though, Wood said a security guard told him he would have to agree never to bring the state flag with him to another Ole Miss game or run the risk of being arrested. When Wood asked if he would truly be arrested for carrying the state’s flag, prompting the officer to spin him around and arrest him on the spot, taking him off to the local jail.

Although Wood’s flag was slightly larger than the permitted size, he said the flag issue has never been a problem in the past six years he has been attending Ole Miss football games.

“This was never a problem until Ole Miss stopped playing ‘Dixie,’” Woods told Breitbart Texas.

The University of Mississippi announced back in August that it was bending to politically correct standards and would cease to play “Dixie,” an iconic song for Ole Miss fans, in order to be more “inclusive,” Fox News reported at the time.

Wood said the flag is being targeted by security at Ole Miss games, telling Breitbart Texas that other students had their stickers with the Mississippi state flag on them removed before entering the game.

This is not the first time Ole Miss fans carrying Mississippi pride items have been asked to put their flags and banners away.

Breitbart Texas reported last month how university security confiscated a number of flags and signs which read “Let the band play ‘Dixie.’”

One game attendee who had his sign and flag taken, Mike Espildora, took to his Instagramaccount, writing “Ole Miss did a great job displaying their pride and was wrongfully and violently shutdown, the fight isn’t over yet,” referring to the broader assault on the state flag by political correctness on college campuses.

A spokesman with the Our State Flag Foundation told Breitbart Texas that it seemed security was specifically targeting Ole Miss fans who support the state flag.

“The University officially says they are targeting because of the ‘size of the banners, not because they are state flags’,” the spokesman said. “This is highly questionable though when you watch the videos, also because they allow big inflatable sharks, big foam fingers and retractable scroll signs sold in the stadium which are much larger than the Dixie and small state flags that were confiscated and targeted.”

I stand corrected.

Preaching Murder is Free Speech?

Only a matter of minutes ago, I saw this article on Twitter and Breitbart.

A Islamic preacher who has referred to non-Muslims as “kuffar” and preached on how to kill homosexuals is due to deliver a set of nightly lectures at an Iranian government-backed organisation in London, Breitbart London can reveal.

Shaykh Hamza Sodagar – who gained notoriety earlier this year for his lecture on “one of five” ways to kill homosexuals – is due to speak at the Islamic Republic of Iran School in north-west London between October 4th – 12th.

According to a speaker biography, Mr. Sodagar regards himself as a “role model” for “young Muslims all around the world”. A recent video of the preacher features Mr. Sodagar stating:

“If there’s homosexual men, the punishment is one of five things. One – the easiest one maybe – chop their head off, that’s the easiest. Second – burn them to death. Third – throw ’em off a cliff. Fourth – tear down a wall on them so they die under that. Fifth – a combination of the above”.

I asked the simple question, “how is this legal?” Someone responded to me with, “freedom of speech.”

As a lover of free speech and someone who will always fight for diversity of viewpoint (which is the only kind of diversity that really matters in this world), I was shocked by this response.

I was always taught that free speech is healthy, even when it’s something you disagree with. But that it doesn’t give you the right to yell out “fire” in a crowded theater when there isn’t one. That would be a crime. Common sense, right? Yes, we have freedom of speech. We also have consequences. Apparently, there are some who don’t foresee the potential for consequences.

I have to ask how allowing this preacher to give a series of talks about how to best murder gays or any other subject of this nature isn’t considered yelling fire in a crowded theater?

I once heard Milo Yiannopoulos say that bigots should be given the biggest platform. I agree with this wholeheartedly. How else can we know their awful views and protect ourselves from them? We need to know how they think so we can react. Well, this man’s awful viewpoints are well known. As many times as Milo has been harassed and banned from college campuses, he’s never told his audiences to kill someone. In fact, he’s the one constantly in danger of being killed. Am I wrong to believe that a certain line needs to exist in the same way that I believe yelling out fire in a crowded theater is wrong and should be a crime?

When we don’t speak out against this kind of thing and say that it’s protected under free speech, we aren’t just giving a platform to bigots. No. It’s something else entirely. We’re giving a man a platform where he can further radicalize Muslims already living in London who can then go on to commit horrific crimes. As if Europe didn’t have enough problems with radical Islam already.

I leave room to be wrong on the subject. Maybe I have a thing or two to learn about free speech. But this kind of logic sounds like allowing a Nazi to come to a University to preach about how killing Jews is not only appropriate, but merciful, to an audience of young military age German men. Forgive me while exercise my right to call bullshit on that.

Here’s the lesson boys and girls. If you’re a Muslim preaching the best ways to slaughter gays, you’re not a threat. If you’re an openly gay Jew who never shuts up about his black boyfriend, you’re a threat. And you will be banned from college campuses.
