On this day in 2009 we met in person. October 9th, 2009. We were only fifteen and sixteen years old. It was the first time in my life that I felt like the best friend I chose for myself chose me back. I can’t believe we’ve been friends for a decade. Our friendship is a treasure and a gift to me.
