New Goodreads Author
SI Soper's Works
The works of SI Soper are becoming available both in print and Kindle versions through Amazon.
I find her writing enjoyable, thought provoking, well written, to say the least. SI Soper has been writing for over fifty years but has only published four books previously.
About a year ago I had asked her if I could read one of her works and was happy to receive Psycohodoor. After reading the work, I suggested that her works shouldn't be left to dust and decay, upon her passing. In November of 2015, she took my suggestion to heart and started to work on publishing several. Suffering from macular degeneration, the task has been a struggle for her to accomplish, relying upon others to design the covers, text formatting and all else to produce the final products. SI Soper is a fighter and if you read any of her works it will be very evident in her writings.

Kore
Today the technical edit of Kore was finished.
I will now start sending out copies to beta readers for evaluation.
I hope to have the work complete and published before November!
I am very thrilled to have come so far in this process. I feel like I have been
running a marathon. Every morning I have gotten up at 5:15AM to work with
my editor for an hour and a half. I have spent hours rewriting sections that needed to be changed or added to. My goal, to provide a book that is entertaining, which reads well, with a uniquely conceptual and unpredictable storyline. I feel that I have achieved this. I hope, you, my readers will see the heartfelt efforts that I have put in to this read with each page you turn.

Duplicity Sequel "Kore"

Four months have gone by from my last post here on Goodreads. The outline of the work has been finished for about two and a half months. For the next two months I went back over the work to expand and refine it.
In May I received and offer from S.I. Soper to help with the edit of the work. It’s been such a great experience. S.I Soper has written since fiction for over fifty years. She was a technical writer and editor for I.B.M. for over twenty five years. Words just can’t express the gratitude I feel for her input.

Duplicity Sequel " Kore"
I would like to let my readers know what has been happening with my writing. I have been working on the sequel to Duplicity in earnest for the last two months and have made good progress. I'm now about three hundred thirty pages into the work. I have a feel for how this book will conclude and I'm feeling that there may be a third book to follow. The work will be approximately four hundred fifty to six hundred pages in length. The last thing is the name of this work. It will simply be named Kore.
This work has allowed me to explore all of the feelings that make us human, love, compassion, lust, rage, death, fear and so much more. Each emotion adding a dynamic fluidity, allowing you the reader to immerse yourself into the story. I also feel as with Duplicity you won't be able to guess what is coming or how it will end conclusively.
I was turned on to the music web service Spotify in November. I have gained inspiration from so many new artists and the hard work that they have poured into their music. You can follow what I listen to too. Simply search alongthepath57 on Spotify.

Duplicity Sequel
I have been working on the sequel and feel that it is going very well. My work schedule has been a little crazy so things have moved a little slower than I had expected. Yes I do have a day job.
At present I've written about 230 pages and I think the finished work will be in the 400 page range.
The book will be written in third person. I wanted to see how third person worked from a writers prospective.

Sequel
I have been working on the sequel, but due to family issues it has been taking me a little longer than I had expected to get through it.
I am at about the half way point, 47K words so far. I am now thinking that I will have it finished in January or March and then the edit will take place.
With that in mind, I thinks spring of 2015 before it will go to print.

Amy Miles, Rising Trilogy
Well I just finished reading Amy Miles Rising Trilogy. It isn't in my books read yet. Guess I am a bit lazy and haven't added a few books to it that I have read of late. But to get to the point. I was taken by the series. I was blown away with the end of the last book and just needed to get this out of my head.
WOW, it was powerful, gripping and I came close to a tear. Thank you for a great three reads Amy.
I hope a few of you will find them just as rewording as I have!!
