It’s Raining Oranges

Okay, no it’s not really raining oranges but it sounded like a cool subject. Right? No?

Anyhoo, I’m participating in National Novel Writing Month this year (50k words in 30 days) and I will be writing the 4th and last book of my Elemental Enchanters Series! *squeal* I can’t believe we’re already to book 4! This journey wouldn’t have been possible with you (thank you!). I’m getting my writing playlist ready and I’m stocked with Coke and I’ve got my writing buddies, so I’m good to go. Who else is participating? Add me as your friend on NaNo – carrigan34 and we can be writing buddies! I’ll try to post my NaNo experience this year more than I did last year. And I promise NOT to lose the file like I did with last year’s story. Still so very upset over that. (If you want to read the tragic story, click here).

Anyway, I have a release party for my book, Under the Winter Sun (Elemental Enchanters book 3), here. Also, you can pre order the book! Woohoo! So excited to share this book with you all!

Let’s Beat Cancer!

How many of us are or have been affected by cancer? Pretty much everyone, right? I lost my grandmother 11 years ago to lung cancer and it was very hard for me to lose her. My great aunt has had cancer, but she remains strong and I admire her for everything she has had to go through. My aunt survived breast cancer and so did my boss. My grandfather had throat cancer and succumbed to it a year ago tomorrow. It’s never easy and it never will be, but there are so many survivors and patients who need help. That’s why I, along with a lot of other authors, are banding together to create an event for Stephanie. We have priced all of our participating books at $0.99 and are doing a rafflecopter and all proceeds will go toward this lovely lady’s fund. Pieces of Me Birthday Bash – A Success!

I’m currently working on a companion story to my Elemental Enchanter Series. This is a prequel to the series and so far is coming along very nicely! I haven’t figured out a release date yet, but as soon as I do I will let you know! Also, I’m trying hard to finish Book #3 in the series and hope to release it this fall. We shall see!

Okay so this is a little delayed…but Under the Burning Stars is now available on Amazon.com! Paperbacks will be available within a day or so! Reviews are coming in and I’m so happy to see all the great things said about this book! Thank you for all of your support and kind words. Heating Up July

Hello everyone!

How was your holiday weekend? Or for those that it wasn’t a holiday, how was your weekend? Mine was pretty awesome. Got to enjoy some sunshine, good food, good company, and was asked to be my mom’s maid of honor in her wedding. Woohoo!

As some of you know, in gearing up for the release of Under the Burning Stars, Under a Blood Moon (book 1 in the Elemental Enchanter series) is $0.99 all month long! If you haven’t read it, here’s the link. I hope you all enjoy the book! And only 14 more days until Under the Burning Stars!!! I’m so excited! I plan on having some events coming up as well to celebrate the release so stay tuned for more updates!

Last night, I finally got to sit down and write some for book #3. So far, I think this one is turning out to be the longest book in the series. I had my handy Emotion Thesaurus with me – which helps tremendously while writing/editing. If you are a writer, you need that book. It’s easy to read and a great reference. :)
