I’m back from the most wonderful weekend at the Edinburgh Book Festival! I spoke at two sold-out events, including one with my crime-writing pal Sharna Jackson, and held a wonderful Fringe signing with independent bookshop of the year Golden Hare Books.

I have some very exciting news to share: Top Marks for Murder was the NUMBER ONE BESTSELLING children’s paperback in the U.K. AND Ireland last week!
This is absolutely huge – the highest chart position for any of my books, ever – and I feel so amazed and grateful to everyone who rushed out and bought a copy this weekend, to all of the amazing booksellers who worked to sell the book, and to my wonderful team at Puffin, who have worked so hard on this series, and are just as excited as I am about this!… Read more
