Writing Prompt Mondays: Prompt 5
It’s Week 5! As always, your responses to Week 4’s prompt were fabulous. Everything from Sylvia Plath to Hogwarts to Taylor Swift – that’s the best thing about fiction, it’s as unique as the people writing it! I particularly loved Annie’s serial killer take on La Belle Dame Sans Merci, and Inaya’s beautiful story inspired by The New Colossus.… Read more

Writing Prompt Mondays: Prompt 4
Welcome to Week 4 of my writing prompts, Detectives! Again, thank you so much for your amazing, enthusiastic responses to Week 3. I love seeing how creative you’re being with these prompts! Hello Detectives! This is week 3 of my writing prompts – and again, I was bowled over by the quality and variety of your responses to week 2’s prompt. Video: writing a diary!
Hello Detectives,
I hope you’re all OK! I’ve made a video all about writing a diary – why you might want to do it right now, why I think it’s better to imagine your diary as research than as a story you’re telling and why it’s important to record what’s happening to you.… Read more
