Review: Bewitching The Werewolf by Caroline Hanson

Bewitching the Werewolf

5 stars

This book was short, very short but even so, it packed a whole helluva lot of punch into a small amount of pages! I grabbed a free copy of this over the weekend and the promo is still running and it’s definitely worth a read.

I looked at some of the reviews and there were a lot of complaints about the length and I can kind of understand it… but no way is it deserving of just the one star, because of how many pages it has. The book relied upon you having some general know-how about werewolves and witches but you wouldn’t be reading the genre if you didn’t, would you?

Zack is a hunk, Megan is snarky and with an attitude. For a short story, I felt like I came to know them quickly.

I would have liked more, so much more. It could have been a full length novel for me and I’m kind of sad it wasn’t. But at the same time, I prefer quality and this really did it for me. Thoroughly enjoyed it, wish the ending had been padded out more and while I’d have loved for the story to go on and on, I have to review what I read. Definitely 5 stars. Just downloaded another of Hanson’s books: Love Is Darkness. It’s a testament to how much I enjoyed it that I want to read more of her style! :)

Now, I’ll be honest… I’m a dog person. I have a little Yorkshire Terrier and he’s the King of the house, but how could I not reblog this? LOL. Love it! :D

At this point I cannot be bothered with writing a full-length review!!!
I have to find out how this is going to continue…

I absolutely love this book. It is hilarious. I haven’t laughed out loud like this because of a book in a long time.

Denise

Sometimes life isn’t simple, sometimes things are complicated but sometimes these situations are just out of our hands, and this book looks at that. It’s real, gritty and oh, has some beautifully written sex. It takes the characters to a new level in their relationship and that’s what it is, theirs…

Only 99 cents on Amazon, check out the second part of Mona’s Naughty Nookie tale! Let it hook you in and reel you in for part three! :D

After the revelations that sprang forth after her one night stand, Simone feels both betrayed and guilty as hell in the aftermath.  When Zane calls her, looking to take her out again, what can she say apart from, ‘Get real! And while you’re at it, get lost!’
But when Zane refuses to take her rejection and forces her to listen to his unorthodox tale, he sets Simone on to a path she never imagined impossible.
With her life changing about her, only her friends can keep her grounded.
But does she want to have her feet planted firmly on the ground?
Or is she ready for adventure?
Even if that adventure means her becoming something that goes against her every principle.

I could be negative and say ‘Because no one else will…’ but really, no one will unless you do. :) You don’t have to be happy with yourself to love who you are :) New Year, new you… love every part of what makes you you!

15 Different Kinds of Love

psych-facts:

Infatuation- loving feelings towards a love object that are largely based upon fantasy and idealization (instead of experience). Often when partners get to know each other, infatuation diminishes.

Romantic Love- An abiding love for a partner with whom you feel passion, attraction, caring and respect.

Eros- a passionate love usually involving sexual feelings for a love interest.

Companionate Love- feelings of warmth towards a friend with whom you love to spend time

Unconditional Love- A type of affection and caring that is so strong that you feel it consistently, regardless of what that other person does

Of these fifteen types, I’ve felt seven.

Hmm, I wonder if it’s weird to put these on the bucket list of things To Do lol. I guess it would, but, ne’ermind.

I have experienced Unconditional Love and I’m fortunate to experience it every single day. My mum loves me unconditionally, as I love her. Sorry to get all sappy, but hey, that’s the topic of the post LOL. I could dye my hair green, come out as an alien or flash a thousand-strong crowd and she’d still love me. Because of her, I’m very secure in myself and who I am. And when you’re a writer, you really need that! Lol. So, thanks, mum! :)

And yes, notice the spelling. Mum. I’m a Brit! :P

Grab this and read it for yourself!

Shorter than I would have liked but I’m looking forward to reading the next installment… especially after the shock of the last page or 2.

Hot, Hot, Hot…With a twist that I was really not expecting!!!! Well written and interesting with a lovely couple as main characters Mona (aka Simone) and Zane!!!! This book was a pleasure!!!

Moon

After a super-dooper response to the first book in Marina’s tale, A Bitch In Time, when it was #free on Amazon, I couldn’t let Mona be forgotten. You’ve just read a few quotes from the new reviews that have been posted up on Goodreads and Amazon, and here’s the blurb:

When Simone Barranquet meets Zane Matthews on a night out with her friends, little does she know that her life is about to change.
Crashing into Zane, her mundane existence is teetering on the edge. A whole new world of sexual exploration awaits her, if she’s willing to take a leap of faith in a man she doesn’t know who leads a life she can’t understand.

Only 99 cents on Amazon, or free on Goodreads (take your pick, I know which one I’d choose lol) dive into the first part of the highly rated series!

You won’t be disappointed!

Loved this new series of Sherlock. Everything was so human. I know that sounds strange, but this is a case in point. Humor in little things. Can’t wait for the next series! :D

This is very true. For me, it’s the mind, the connection...

This is very true. For me, it’s the mind, the connection that counts. Yeah, okay, I like an attractive outer aspect, lol. But what’s the point in being a hunk if a conversation is,

Me: So, what’s your favorite book?

Him: Umm, I haven’t read since school.

Yeah, sooo not for me! ;)

Plus, I’m a true sapiosexual. If someone is clever, I spontaneously start to drool. LOL.
