The Emu War was inhumane because it made emus feel "ostrich-sized"

The Emu War was a real thing! (And if that joke in the post title was too lame for you, the explanation is below.

The word "ostracize" means "to banish or exclude someone or something," and that kind of sounds like "ostrich-sized" . . . which emus are!

"Why are you looking at me that way? I'm not going to do anything."

"Sucker!"
