Writing Tip: Write!

If you thought last week’s writing tip sounded dumb, I can only guess what you’re thinking about this week’s tip. But it’s true. A book, short story, novella, won’t write itself. You have your BIC. Butt. In. Chair.

This is going to be a short post, because it’s easy. If you want to write, WRITE!

Whenever I tell people that I’m a writer, the usual response is something that amounts up to “I always wanted to write a book.” Then, do it. Get your butt in the chair and write the book.

It doesn’t have...

Pizza and a Movie Night aka It’s Friday, y’all!

The one thing about being best friends with your spouse is that every night is like a sleepover. Or else, that’s the way it is for us. Although maybe we never really grew up. Or we’re young at heart. Or dorks. But that’s beside the point. The point is that as in my childhood, pizza + a movie=awesome. It turns out, the same is true in adulthood. Tonight, I get to pick the m...
