Being Bigger In Your Light
"Now is the time to play bigger in our lives. Without apologies, without justifications, without false appearances. With only a foot on the gas pedal.
The fear of playing bigger can hold us back because it leads to many unknowns and potential let-downs. We may ask, Who am I to do this? Who am I to try this? Who am I to think I am special enough that this could happen for me?
The answer is you are exactly the right person to do this because you had the idea. You had the inspiration. You had the pulsing feelings and the vision of the possibility. You are the perfect person to do it and you are the best person to do it your way.
The reason? It is about being bigger than your previous definition of Self.
You are the only person who can do it your way - and that is what makes you perfect for this.
Playing bigger in your life doesn't mean you walk without fear or doubts.
Nope.
Playing bigger means you recognize the fears and doubts sooner. You understand that every doubt is simply an opportunity to believe again. You choose to make your faith, trust, and power bigger than the temporary doubts.
Your wise Soul understands that this is part of the process and so you can decide to move through it with honesty, authenticity, and ease. You choose to accept the path ahead knowing you will be taken care of every step of the way.
And you are ready. Or else you wouldn’t have had the inspiration in the first place.

Return To Sender

As many of you know, I've been sharing with you the "Return To Sender" idea for a few years now because I believe it is a really important message to remember. It is more fully explained in the ebook "Guided By Your Light: Ridiculously Loving and Celebrating Yourself" so be sure to get your copy here.
"Return To Sender" is a reminder that you CAN re-inforce what you allow into your personal energy field by sending anything you don't wish to receive BACK to it's original creator. Being energetically open means you can pick up on other vibrations and feel when 'stuff' is coming your way that is not yours, not wanted, not needed, no thank you very much! In the ebook I describe how you can return that very 'stuff' back to where it came from and increase your boundaries. Hence, Return to Sender, baby - STAT!

An Uplifting New Creative Cycle Is Beginning

Is it time for new creative inspirations and fresh energy in your life?
If you feel a resounding YES, then I have good news for you, my friend!
Jupiter will move into Leo on July 16 for the first time in 12 years and this planetary change will kick-start an insurgence of creativity, taking a risk, renewed courage, and a renewed desire for self-expression. All of those projects, plans, and ideas you've been working on (or thinking about working on) may now have the support to bloom!
Jupiter takes about a year to move through each astrological sign, and as it does, it expands the energetic expressions. Obviously there are pros and cons to this expansion since it can also result in over-inflation, exaggeration, and all 'hot air' with nothing to show for it. My astrological mentor, Pam Younghans, calls Jupiter the "Santa Claus" of the zodiac because it can bring you everything you want - but to an excess.
In Leo, we have the joy of exploring creativity and fun, but also watch out for the unhealed inner child showing up, too much pride, narcissism, and excessive "look at me!" stuff. Leo rules fame and celebrity, and as with all signs, INTENTION is key. I talk more about the full spectrum of Leo energies in this week's radio show, plus how our ability to take action will passionately ramp up as Mars finally leaves Libra (after 8 loooong months!) and will drive forward into Scorpio.
And! I invite you to grab your natal astrology chart as you listen because I briefly discuss how Jupiter in Leo may show up for you in each of the 12 astrological houses.
Until July 16th, Jupiter will be finishing its run through Cancer. As a planet reaches and moves through the 29th degree of a sign, you may feel or notice a 'culmination' energy. This is a completion point and a time to 'tidy up' any loose strings before a new beginning starts at the 0 degree point. Jupiter in Cancer has been showing us our emotional center and how to open up to more of our inner needs. But be aware of defensiveness, vulnerability, or being overwhelmed by emotions. Each of these patterns is an opportunity to consciously make a new choice. If you were to feel completely safe and secure in your emotional world, what new response would you have? Jupiter in Cancer has been supporting this area of growth so when you share your true Self more fully with the world (Leo), you have a secure inner emotional base.

And on the topic of Jupiter... I had a little flurry of excitement this week when Deepak Chopra re-tweeted one of my tweets. Jupiter is one of my ruling planets (we each have a few key ruling planets), and Jupiter in Cancer made a sextile to my natal Jupiter in Taurus on the exact day of this connection. When you're tuned into astrology, you start to pick up on amazing synchronicities like this! It's one of the reasons why I love providing astrology sessions for you - be ready to notice the good stuff when it happens!

Tips For Spiritual Discernment
As glowing spiritual beings, it's an incredibly exciting time to participate in the expansion of global consciousness (yay!). The energetic pyramid base is growing as more people are willingly choosing a spiritual path and showing an interest in developing their intuition, psychic skills, healing abilities and more. So wonderful! So cool! We are infusing the energetic grid with more Light and Consciousness than ever before.
As a result, the term “spirituality” is quite common now, and within this singular word exists many definitions. More spiritual communities, groups, events, healers, and teachers will emerge throughout the year because global interest is expanding in the spiritual fields. There are many layers, levels, and energies within ‘spirituality’, so it is wise to test-drive what you come across to make sure it matches up with your energy. Listen to yourself. Be aware of when the Ego-Mind is trying to “make” something happen or is relying on data, numbers, or those all-too-common “shoulds.”
Be mindful of energies that do not fit you easily and joyfully. Notice if you feel a pause (internally or externally) or if you feel heavy in certain conversations, topics, or events. Check in with yourself for physical reactions that signal something is ‘off’. It is very common for a person/experience/resource to only be a small and temporary part of your bigger experience because they have served their purpose - and now you move forward.
For example, a teacher may be a beautiful fit for a close friend, but he/she doesn’t connect with you.
Or you may have enjoyed one healer for years and now you can’t find the same energetic connection to them.
Or a “spiritual” book/magazine/resource appears to offer good insights, yet as you read more, you regularly feel that something is “off” or the information is not high-vibrating.
Trust all of these sensations. Honor your intuitive messages even if they don’t “make sense.” Discernment is one of our greatest tools at this time, and we will be tested around how well we use it. Oh yes, we will be tested! The Universe just loves to remind us of our power that way. "Tests" are the opportunities to advance and grow on a Soul level.
Spirituality is not one-size-fits-all; it’s one-size-fits-YOU. You will be naturally drawn to certain resources, teachers, healers, and opportunities that connect with your energetic vibration. The beauty of being on a spiritual path at this time is that there are numerous ways to awaken more of You.
Tips for spiritual discernment:
~ Are their messages meant to empower, uplift, and support you - or are they trying to get you to agree with them, buy something, and/or tell you the 'right' information?
~ Are you connecting to their voice, aura, and/or personna easily and effortlessly?
~ Are they sharing original information? Or does it sound like re-packaged goods?
~ How does your body feel around them? Check your root chakra, solar plexus, and third eye/6th chakra for any feelings of heat, pressure or intensity.
To work with discernment:
What specific emotions, thoughts, or energy is triggering me?
If I sit with my inner voice for a moment, what information is coming to my awareness for my highest and best good?
On a deeper level, what pattern in my life is revealing itself? Do I commonly have this feeling?
Stay tuned into yourself for answers and know that you are always being given exactly what you need in each moment.

Happy July! A Dynamic Month Begins
Let's give a big welcome to the seventh month of the year - and a significant turning point!
The first six months of 2014 have held some intense energies, big changes, and dynamic requirements for consciously moving ahead on your path. Have you noticed a particular theme or healing opportunity since January that keeps popping up? If you've been working with it and working through it, there will be rewards for that effort in that second half of this year.
I know some 'stuff' has been really big at times - that's the name of the game until 2016! - but please know it's all been for the best possible developments and outcomes. Truly! We are living in a highly significant time in humanity's evolution, and we are being asked to consciously grow individually, which will eventually be reflected in mass consciousness.
Another to keep in mind is that the Universe always UPGRADES you! So stay focused on your biggest dreams and what you really, truly want without selling yourself short or playing small.
One of my favorite mantras... "don't give up 5 minutes before the miracle!"
The energy of July starts out as 'putting things into a new place,' a bit like sorting, preparing, getting your ducks in a row. Take each day as it comes and don't be too focused on all of the details being a certain way. Be open to allowing and receiving new ways of doing something. If a proejct, idea, or area of your life feels stuck and you find yourself in fear or doubt, release your expectations and take a step back. A trusting energy will be strongly required, so don't grasp - flow, baby, flow!
By the middle of the month, the sizzle factor will get fired up as Jupiter enters Leo on July 16 and Saturn finally turns direct on July 21. Both of these shifts will help solidify and motivate you forward. The pace picks up, creativity flies higher, and a sense of personal pride in YOU will be stronger by the end of the month.
Consciously invite a happy vibe to permeate your life more regularly this month! Ask your spiritual guides, angels, and invisible team for this energy every day. You are supported in Divine ways, so own it. :)
