We’ve had some weird cold-ish weather for the time of year, which has something to do with that polar vortex, or the temperature of the lakes, or whatever, I don’t even know, but it’s 90 degrees today whee! (Thank the gods for A/C — JUST KIDDING [not really].)

They say seasons change with time, theirs are changing, why won’t mine?

Phew! This month has been some roller coaster. One more blog visit with Andrew Gordon on Thursday and then The House on Hancock Hill tour comes to an end. I’ve had an absolute blast, met a lot of amazing people, have been overwhelmed by the warm response and the truly heartwarming emails I’ve received. I’m not gonna lie, tears have been shed.

I’ll announce the winners for the big Rafflecopter when I return from Rome the second weekend of March. This will be a well-deserved vacation for both Mr...

Another Excerpt for The House on Hancock Hill.

I was at home considering what to make for dinner, deciding I wasn’t really hungry, when my phone rang. The now-familiar flare of hope that it might be Henry made itself known but time had subdued it. I recognized the heartache was becoming muted, and while I suspected the pain would probably never really go away, I welcomed the numbness. I’m here to watch your heart; It’s been faulty from the start

Four days until The House on Hancock Hill releases, I’m so excited I could pass out. The blog tour kicks off on Elin Gregory’s blog, the day the before it comes out. She’s one of my favorite authors so I am incredibly thrilled she’s having me over. (I adore Kit in On A Lee Shore, okay? He is one of the most likeable characters I’ve ever come across and I just want to hug him and feed him, and rub his belly. Don’t judge me.)

Instead of completely stressing out this weekend, I spent two days wit...
