Soul of a Demon is Almost Here!

Hello Ladies!

I hope you are all doing well and I just have a quick little update for you all. Soul of a Demon will be out June 30th and I hope to those of you who has enjoyed this series will be just as pleased as me with this book. This series was the first one I ever written so it holds a special place in my heart.

My daughter revamped my website and it looks amazing! Be sure to go check it out as you can read Rider’s prologue there as well as get some FAQ’s about the Last Rider’s. It’s pretty neat if I do say so myself :). www.JamieBegley.net

That’s all I got for now Ladies, I’ll update you more about Rider when Sarah let’s me… ;)

Love,
Jamie

What's Next?!

I hope everyone enjoyed Greer’s story. Thank you all for the great reviews! I keep telling you all that I have the best fans in the world, and I truly believe that from the bottom of my heart. I wish there was a way for me to show you how deep my appreciation goes in person, instead I will take every effort to show you with my writing.

Standing His Ground was meant to be a heartwarming story that I hope touched you in some way even if only for a small moment. You want to know something funny? When I finished Greer’s book, I went to bed loving it, when I woke up the next morning I hated it. If I had more time I probably would have literally thrown it away. It took me a couple of days to love it again, which is why I said I had a love/hate relationship with Greer. Lisa from Tasty Book Tours also talked me down from doing it. Lol. I came to the conclusion that Greer represented some of the men I used to know from southeastern Kentucky. Some of the men from there can be the biggest assholes in the world. If you don’t believe that I have a couple of brothers, cousins, and friends that I can introduce you to. If anything, I was being kind :). Greer is bragging to me that he made USA Today, as if he did all the work. I’m letting him take the credit, because as much of a jackass he is, he kinda deserves it.

Now that I have finished Greer I am currently working on the third book of the Dark Soul’s series. This might not be most popular series but it was the first book I wrote and it’s near and dear to my heart. From the email rants I have been getting, several of you are tired of waiting for it and want it like yesterday. The reason why I haven’t finished that series yet is not because I don’t want to, but because I intended it to coincide with other books that span different generations. The first generation which took place in the past and I have already finished, but it started back when I couldn’t afford a laptop, and most of it was when my mother was in the hospital (she hated to be alone), and I would stay with her and write to pass the time. I must find a way to get those two stories transferred from longhand to the computer. It’s a daunting task since anyone that has seen my handwriting knows that they have their work cut out for them. To concentrate on those stories would mean I would have to slow down on other books that everyone is waiting for like Rider, another Biker Bitch, and another Predator. See my dilemma? And before anyone tries to me, I haven’t forgotten about Ginny. I’m trying to get to her too, but I can only type so fast! Lol.

I know you all are busy, but I want to thank you all again for being so great!

Greer is Live!

Do you hear that? It’s the sound me of pushing publish for Greer’s book. Unlike Train’s book I’m glad to get out it of my head and onto your kindle. It’s not been easy living with that a**hole.

I think Greer is going to be a man you’re going to love to hate... or is it hate to love? I’ll let you all decide. He has been one of the most complex characters I have written about other than Rider. Both men have their reasons to live behind a façade. Rider does it because he (let’s all admit the truth here) wants to get in all the girls panties. Greer does it to protect his family. He’s the first to tell you no one is more important than his family. I hope I managed to show the depth of his love to you and I hope you will fall in love with him, despite him being an a**hole.

As always you will be able to purchase it on Amazon, B&N, Kobo, and iTunes. It was published earlier in the day so I look for it to go live in a few hours. I will post the links as soon as it does and if you have the time please leave a review. I appreciate them all! For a bonus, I put Rider’s prologue in the back since birds of a feather, flock together. And I almost forgot, lol. If anyone notices that there is bird massacre in Standing His Ground like in Hostage, I just wanted to inform you that like the ducks, no birds were harmed in the making of this book and that the crimes were committed by two different perpetrators. The perp in Hostage was dealt with by Jackal, but sadly one of the criminals in Standing His Ground is still at large.

Love,
Jamie

Merry Christmas Ladies!

I hope your holiday season has been filled with family, friends, happiness, and of course, amazing food. My little family here has been cooking up a storm, and managed to convince me to open presents a little early on Christmas Eve last night, instead of our usual Christmas Day, lol.

I wanted to take this time to not only wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas, but to thank you all for your dedication, loyalty and support. I know I’ve said it before and I’m going to keep saying it, but I couldn’t do this without you. I would like to give a special shout out to everyone who sent me a card. You all are so sweet and I couldn’t ask for better fans. I hope you all have an amazing holiday, and know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers on this most special of days.

Merry Christmas and lots of love,

Jamie Begley

P.S. Greer wanted me to tell you all Merry Christmas and that he’ll see you all soon. ;)

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone is looking forward to Thanksgiving as much as I am. I have so much to be thankful for this year! I’ve regained my health, I have both of my children nearby who are both doing good. My family is doing well. I have also been blessed with truly amazing fans! I wouldn’t change anything about my life through the ups and down, I am living the life I was meant to live.
I’m still working on Greer’s book, as soon I have a release date, I’ll make sure to let you all know. I wish that I could be with all of you tomorrow, but my son and daughter are a little of jealous of sharing their stuffing, so while I can’t be there with you I wanted to share a part of the day with you all. Remember how I told you I keep Train’s book even when Sarah told me to give it up? I had one scene that was deleted. It didn’t make the cut. Lol. For Thanksgiving I wanted to share the deleted scene with all of you. You can find the deleted scene on my website, I hope you enjoy. Everyone thought it was too mushy to put it in the book, but what I can say? I’m a mushy kind of person;)
I also wanted to thank everyone for their suggestions on Greer’s playlist. It’s amazing how well you all seem to know him already. I’ll make sure that I let you know when I’m ready to make Rider’s list, I’ve already decided He’s So Vain will go on the top. Lol.
You all have a great Thanksgiving!

Love,
Jamie

What's Next?!

I hope everyone is having a beautiful day! I just wanted to take the time to let you know how much I appreciate how everyone is responding to Train’s Clash. I always try to give my fans the story they want, sometimes the characters let me, other times not so much. I never know which way a story goes until I begin writing it. I wish I could be an author that knows where a story is going to go when I begin, but unfortunately I don’t. The characters are the ones who let me know who’s in control from the beginning to the end. I live and breathe these characters’ day in and out until their story is finished. It took me over three months to write Train’s Clash, during that time I went out maybe three times. One was a doctor’s checkup (I learned the hard way, to take care of myself). Even now, Train and Killyama’s story affected me deeply (I’m still being careful not to give any spoilers away). Your reviews and emails, have all made it worthwhile. For those that didn’t like it, as always, I will try to do better. My son and daughter get mad when I say this, but they don’t understand I was raised by a mother and father who were never content. If they hadn’t wanted a different way of life for their children other than the mining town we were born into, I wouldn’t be sitting behind my computer doing the job I always dreamed of doing.

November 8, 2007 was the day I lost my mother, and I still miss her every day, and it was from her that I inherited my love of reading. She had an eighth-grade education and quit school so she could earn money to help her brothers and sisters. But, despite her lack of schooling, she was the smartest person I ever knew. She always valued education and she admired those who had achieved it, and she couldn’t. My mother died without knowing I had made all my dreams come true, but with the faith she had instilled in me, I know she knows.

I lost my Father January 22, 1987. From him I learned kindness. He worked five days a week for $30 to support all six of us, and then made sure he helped his brothers and sisters. When he died several family members and friends came forward to tell me that he had kept them from going hungry. These two remarkable people, who I was blessed to call my parents, is where Treepoint began. Each of my books have a part of my childhood between the chapters, and I will always strive to make you a part of my world.

Okay, now that I’m got the mushy stuff over with, I wanted to give an update on what I will be working on next. I went back and forth: I want to get started on a stand-alone book that I have been wanting to write for a freaking year, but Greer is being a jerk and won’t shut up. So Greer, is up next! I hope that’s what all you are wanting too, if not I’ll give him your number so Greer can fuss at you :)

I’m trying to decide which songs to put on his playlist so if you want go to my Facebook page and give me some ideas. I’m going to start the list off with Romeo by Dolly Parton. Lol. Greer thinks he’s a lady’s man, I wanted to make his dream come true. I need to be on his good side until I finish his book. But that will be a different blog that I will post in an hour or so, so please save your suggestions until then!

Love,

Jamie

Train is Live

I miss the good old days when you hit a button on your typewriters and you could hear the sound, because guess what? Ping. I hit publish!! It’s live now on iTunes, which is crazy it published so fast. Just a warning though, I look for it to go live on Amazon, B&N, Kobo in the morning or early tomorrow.

I hope you enjoyed the teaser’s, they are probably some of my favorites, I’ve ever had. It helps to have a daughter who can hook me up when I need them.

I hope you enjoy Train’s Clash, I truly feel it is some of my best work. I knew how anxiously you all were waiting for it, and I didn’t want to disappoint any of you. Sometimes the bigger the character is, the fans can feel let down because they weren’t how they imagined them. Train and Killyama came through for me in this book. Killyama doesn’t make excuses for herself, and Train, well he’s used to dealing with women. He is the patient one in the Last Rider’s, and he’s going to need a lot of it to deal with her.

Make sure you have plenty of Kleenex available, and please don’t forget not to give any spoilers away. That’s half the fun of Train’s book.

Now go read it, and enjoy!

P.S. I Love You All!!

Jamie

As soon as it goes live everywhere else I will post it!

Update on Train!

I hope everyone is having a peaceful Sunday, and looking forward to the week ahead. I know everyone is getting excited for Train’s Clash to come out, and I’m sorry it has taken me longer than I expected to write it, but the wait is almost over. When you see how long it is you’ll see why I was a little behind schedule. It’s over 426 pages! I kind of got carried away with it, my daughter practically had to take my computer away and said it was time to let Train and Killyama go to Book Land.

Truthfully, I didn’t want to let them go. I loved writing their story, Killyama likes to kick ass and ask questions later, and Train…well, it’s easy to see he’s the most patient of the Last Rider. Fair warning; It will put you in an emotional tailspin. When I finished writing, and sent it to my editors, I told her I was crying and I didn’t know why. It took me a couple of days to figure out why I was so emotional.

When I write my stories, I am giving you my heart, and I know it’s sappy, I’m cringing at myself as I write this blog, but it’s true.

Each book I write I try to outdo the previous ones I have written, unfortunately, Shade has big shoes, but Train…. well, let’s just say, I’ll have to let you all be the judge. Killyama has such a big heart, that her attitude hides, and Train can’t help but fall in love with her. I know I did, which is why this book is so freaking long. It took me two weeks of crying to get over Shade, Train, jeez is almost as bad. I hate to let my characters go, but I can’t hold on to them forever, so I’m going to do what my daughter said and let them go to Book Land. I’m doing the final read through right now so you all can start counting the days.

As always if you find the time leave me a review, they are the candy at the end of my rainbow. Yes, even the bad ones, and remember don’t give the spoiler away ;) Technically, is it a spoiler, if I tell you there is one? Lol.

P.S. Oh, and so I don’t get slammed in my emails, no Train doesn’t die at that end of the epilogues :) Or at least I don’t think so ;)

Love you guys,

Jamie

Winter's Touch is Live

The button has been pressed! Winter's Touch should go live tonight on Amazon, B&N, Kobo, and iTunes unless they decide to give me trouble!

Caution! Lol. I want to warn all of you Winter’s book might be a little too hot to read on a beach, or anywhere outside in this heat. You might melt. It’s a little steamy, even by my own standards. If you go outside to read, take a large glass of ice water you’re going to need it! :)
I am so excited for you to read Winter’s Touch. I always like writing about Viper: how he loves Winter like crazy, keeps the Last Riders under control, and takes care of anyone that hurts someone he loves. I want to point out his virtues now, because when you read the book you’re going to forget that for a while. Just hang on to the end, and remember I love to take you on a wild ride.
As always, I appreciate any reviews that you take the time to post, I enjoy reading your thoughts. I am working on Train’s book now, so I’m hard at work to get him into your hands soon. I know many of my fans have been waiting on him. I still am deciding on who I will write about after that. Rider’s is still playing the field; he plans to catch them all!

Love,
Jamie Begley

Hostage is Live!

It’s a beautiful day to hit publish! It will be up on Amazon, B&N, Nook, iBooks and KOBO. They should be up by midnight. KOBO site is down so when it allows me I’ll publish it there. The other sites should go live tonight. As they go live I will post them. The book has over three hundred pages, so make sure to have your coffee handy. :)

I don’t think I have ever been this nervous of releasing a book as I have after writing Hostage. I began writing Hostage in November, Penni and Jackal were no ordinary couple. Penni not only dislikes Jackal, she hates him. Their relationship had to overcome this as Penni searched for a love that could compare to Shade and Lily’s. It took time and a lot of twist and turns but Jackal finally manages to snare the woman he fell love with on a ride to Treepoint. It was only fitting that it took another trip back to Treepoint to bring them together.

Most of the Last Riders will make an appearance, so all their fans will be able to catch up with what is going on in their lives. I truly hope that you enjoy Hostage and it becomes one of your favorites. Penni is a little crazy and Jackal well all I can say is he deserved his happy ending.
I wanted to thank every one again for all your well wishes, and prayers. Killyama and Train is next in line so as soon I finish it I’ll make a post and let everyone know the release date. When I finish that I’m sure my reader’s can help me chose the next couple.

Love,
Jamie
