I hope everyone is having a peaceful Sunday, and looking forward to the week ahead. I know everyone is getting excited for Train’s Clash to come out, and I’m sorry it has taken me longer than I expected to write it, but the wait is almost over. When you see how long it is you’ll see why I was a little behind schedule. It’s over 426 pages! I kind of got carried away with it, my daughter practically had to take my computer away and said it was time to let Train and Killyama go to Book Land.
Truthfully, I didn’t want to let them go. I loved writing their story, Killyama likes to kick ass and ask questions later, and Train…well, it’s easy to see he’s the most patient of the Last Rider. Fair warning; It will put you in an emotional tailspin. When I finished writing, and sent it to my editors, I told her I was crying and I didn’t know why. It took me a couple of days to figure out why I was so emotional.
When I write my stories, I am giving you my heart, and I know it’s sappy, I’m cringing at myself as I write this blog, but it’s true.
Each book I write I try to outdo the previous ones I have written, unfortunately, Shade has big shoes, but Train…. well, let’s just say, I’ll have to let you all be the judge. Killyama has such a big heart, that her attitude hides, and Train can’t help but fall in love with her. I know I did, which is why this book is so freaking long. It took me two weeks of crying to get over Shade, Train, jeez is almost as bad. I hate to let my characters go, but I can’t hold on to them forever, so I’m going to do what my daughter said and let them go to Book Land. I’m doing the final read through right now so you all can start counting the days.
As always if you find the time leave me a review, they are the candy at the end of my rainbow. Yes, even the bad ones, and remember don’t give the spoiler away ;) Technically, is it a spoiler, if I tell you there is one? Lol.
P.S. Oh, and so I don’t get slammed in my emails, no Train doesn’t die at that end of the epilogues :) Or at least I don’t think so ;)
Love you guys,
Jamie
