DANGEROUS LOVE IS LIVE!

Well, it’s almost that time :) I just pressed publish on Dangerous Love!!!! Hopefully you’ll be able to buy it soon. This Anthology is my first and I very much enjoyed writing it even though it was hard for me not to make a full- length novel on each of the stories.

Please know we are switching things up a little bit on this book. We are publishing it on every platform for a LIMITED time. Then I will take it off and it will be FREE on Kindle Unlimited. Once it goes live everywhere, I will leave it up for at least 24 hours. So, get your copy as soon as you can for your preferred platform. However, if you do not get it in time it will be available on the Kindle app that you can download on any device. Amazon buyers, know that it will go in KU very soon, but the purchase price will still be $3.99. This is just an experiment. My daughter and I are both putting all of our books in KU starting March 1st. If it doesn’t work out, then it’ll all go back to normal within 90 days. I hope this makes sense as I’m just trying to make everyone happy. :)

Mika, Jonas, and Hammer captured my heart. Mika is a little different than my other heroines, she doesn’t get emotional, she see’s thing’s the way they are (except when she believes Jonas and Hammer were escaped serial killers) but she has a deep strength that you don’t see coming. I know, I didn’t. This anthology might be a little different than other’s you have read. I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t switch it up a little bit.

I couldn’t pick a favorite as they are all intertwined, I actually tried hard to get this book out for Valentine’s Day, but I didn’t want to rush the stories and all three couples said the same thing. Their love wasn’t meant to showcase for the holiday but how enduring love can be. I accomplish that in my book.

Now, I’m going to bed. I’ve been working on Gavin’s book and I need my beauty sleep. Yes, Gavin does make an appearance in a few of these stories and you’ll see why when you read them and why I had to pick these couples before starting his book. He was being a little difficult but don’t worry Shade and Greer took it out of his hands, not to mention a few hard bangs to his head to help him see the light. Lol.

I hope you enjoy Dangerous Love, it’s my Valentine’s gift to all of you. I wouldn’t be an author without all of your love and support. You might not feel it but this is me reaching out from my computer to give each and every one of you a big ol’ hug.

Love,
Jamie
P.S. No the editors didn’t miss that Greer said Matter’D instead of Maitre D’. Greer was an ass and wouldn’t let them change it ;)

LADIES DANGEROUS LOVE IS LIVE! Still waiting on kobo though... non Amazon buyers, please get your copy asap as it will go to KU very soon!

T.A. is Live!

Ho! Ho! Ho!

You ladies ready for a little holiday cheer? T.A. is ready to fill the need, Lol.

Each book I write, I let the characters tell me where to go, T.A. is no exception. I can honestly say T.A. actually surprised me, and I think you will be too. With Sex Piston, Crazy Bitch, Killyama, and Fat Louise as friends, T.A. tended to be in the background but in her book she came out front and center showing a depth that not even I knew she had. T.A. wants to find a man to love and start a family like her friends. Not only has she not been able to find it, she’s not even been able to come close.

Dalton on the other hand, has had that love and doesn’t believe that no other woman could ever compare to the love he had with Oceane. He would be the first one to tell you that T.A. is driving him bonkers, and the attraction he feels for her makes it even worse the more he gets to know her. Poor Dalton, he was just as surprised as I was. At one point in their story you wonder why T.A. wasn’t picked to do something, T.A. and Dalton were both confused but the truth is everyone believes that all the crew protects Fat Louise, but T.A. is the one they guard like she’s a treasure because she kinda is. Lord, I need to quit talking, I guess what I’m trying to explain to you is that if you start reading T.A.’s book with a preconceived notion of what she’s going to be like, you’re going to be right and wrong. She definitely becomes the new favorite of my biker bitches!

Oh, by the way did I forget to mention that Gavin gets to kick a little ass in this book? Darn, I love that man.

P.S. For those of you that wants to know what was going on with Ice and Grace, don’t worry! I have a little something special planned for them and a few other characters from my book. I’m doing a Treepoint Valentine’s Day short stories book that will answer your questions and a few more.

P.P.S. Oh, by the way as a little Christmas from me to you. You get a small introduction as to who Gavin’s soulmate is going to be in T.A.’s book. Enjoy!

Love,
Jamie

Claiming the Enemy is LIVE!

Hey Ladies,

I guess you all know what I’m about to say: Surprise! I hit publish on Claiming the Enemy! I wish you all could see how excited I am, and how terrified at the same time. With each book I release I go through the same thing; I think the best way to explain it is a severe case of stage fright. I feel like my stomach is tied in knots and I can feel every nerve in my body. I told my son I want to get all my copies back and hide my computer. I remember hearing once that Stephen King threw one of his books away and his wife got it out of the trash. That book? Carrie. I can understand why Stephen King tried to throw away his book. It’s like putting a picture of one of your most prized possessions out there and letting it go. It’s never been easy for me and it gets worse with each book I write. At least I’m in good company! Lol.
But seriously: believe me when I write about what Ginny goes through with her stage fright because I’m right there with her. It gets worse and worse the closer the book is due and if I didn’t have Dan and Sarah pushing me, I honestly don’t know if I would have the courage to release anything. That’s why I take my mind off releasing books by making wreaths and coloring. It centers me and lets the conversations that goes on between my characters go away or I’d never get done with a book.

Dustin’s book was so emotional for me to write I had to make two wreaths just to get through it. Lol. The editors that read my books all said the same thing, this book is definitely the most emotional one I have ever written. A second chance at love and a romance book that’s filled with suspense, and heartache. The only other book I have written that I start crying when I talk about it is Shade’s Fall. Dustin’s captures the same emotion from me and stole my heart about a fourth of the way through writing his story. Unlike Tate who you hardly know how he’ll react to Greer’s over the top personality, Dustin is like going on a roller coaster ride through many twists and turns, and lots of highs and lows that keeps you laughing one minute and crying the next.

I hope you love this book, even now as I’m writing this blog I still can’t quite believe I wrote it. At one point in Claiming the Enemy, Dustin tells Jessie that she’s strong because she’s mountain bred, and the thing is that when you’re done reading the story you realize that not only was Jessie was strong, but Dustin was too. He’s an understated hero, that if you’re ever in trouble you would want him at your back. I’ve talked before about how I let my characters tell me where to go with their story and Jessie and Dustin both did that in this book also but Dustin being a Porter he had to have his say the most.

Lordy, now I’m going to make me an Amaretto Sour, and make another wreath and pray you love Dustin’s book as much as I do.

Love, and blessings from my family, to yours.

Jamie Begley

P.S. Have some tissues handy. It gets quite emotional.

New book! Live?!

Hi Ladies,
It just turned Midnight in my time zone and instead of going to bed I’m thinking about the good ole days. When I would just release the cover, blurb and book all in one big surprise… Does anyone else remember those days? I loved when I used to do that and… I was going to put Stump’s book out next month but then I thought why make you wait?! Let’s bring those days back!

I hope you all will enjoy this surprise when you wake up and it doesn’t take Amazon, B&N, iTunes, and Kobo all day to put it out. I did hit publish on them at the same exact time, so I’m looking for them to go live sometime before noon. I will post the links as soon as they go live, and please know reviews help me out so much and I appreciate them in advance!

The title of Stump’s book is Stalked, it’s a story that is very dear to my heart because of the heroine. Zoey is a little bit of a kook (please don’t tell her I said that, it would hurt her feelings) but she’s a loveable one that I just want to reach in my book and have her in real life. I tried my best to describe how wonderful, sweet, and amazing she is (it took Stump a little time but he figured it out too). Hopefully I succeeded and you’ll love her as much as Stump and I do.

Love,
Jamie

Ladies, here are all the links for Stalked! So happy you all are loving it!

Rider's Revenge Published

Is everyone ready for some Rider?!

I pushed the button so it’s up to Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kobo and iTunes to do the rest! I hope it lives up to all of your expectations.

From the moment I wrote the Last Rider’s series each one of my characters were trying to get my attention. Shade was actually the most determined, while Rider was content to sit back and let everyone take their turn. When I started writing Rider’s book I had to peel back the layers to discover what I needed to know about him. When I described Calder in Crazy Bitch’s book I said he was a simple man, but Rider on the other hand, is anything but simple. He is dynamic, loving, loyal, smart, devious, manipulative, secretive…in other words poor Jo didn’t know what hit her when Rider set his sights on having her. Jo on the other hand, was just as you think she may be: a hardworking woman who didn’t believe that love would ever find her. Not only did it find it her, but Jo’s and Rider’s story isn’t about instant love; it’s about a love that took a world weary jaded man’s soul to the brink and a discerning woman’s courage to dare to love a legend.

It’s over five hundred pages and it’s a slow ride and I hope from the bottom of my heart you love it as much as I do. I could have written a whole of series of books just about this love story but having spent almost a year on it and with other characters begging to be heard, I’m handing it over to you. I have loved all of my books, but Rider’s is very special to me and I hope it finds a place in your heart as well. Oh, before I leave you…for all of you that love to read the end of book first I really wouldn’t, if I were you. You know me and the third epilogues…and for those who love to give spoilers behave. ;)

I’ll post buy links as they happen!

Are you ready for Crazy Bitch?!

So Crazy Bitch is on her way, but don’t blame me if she’s more than you bargained for! ;)
Sarah and Daniel have both told me that there won’t be a part two to her and Calder’s story, because I almost went insane writing this. To say that she is nuts is putting it mildly; Crazy Bitch doesn’t make any pretense about who she is and makes no excuse to anyone about how she acts. In Lucky’s book, Willa said she wanted to be like Killyama, and Lily wanted to be like Sex Piston. Well, I want to be like Crazy Bitch. She’s not afraid to say anything she wants to say, and everyone gets the hell out of her way. Poor Calder gets more than he expected as their relationship develops. He’s another reason I’m jealous of Crazy Bitch. On my playlist, there is a song called Simple Man and he is just that.

Calder doesn’t want a lot out of life, he wants a steady job, a home with a backyard, and Crazy Bitch. I could deal with that. In this world that is filled with excess, Calder looks out for others more than himself, even to the extent of not wanting to hurt Stud and Sex Piston by admitting he’s Star’s father.

Since I have begun writing I don’t think I’ve had two characters that fit together as perfect, other than Shade and Lily. I hope that all of you take them to your heart during this glimpse I have given to you of their lives. I was sad to see it end, and it’s just like the eclipse: it was magical, then even though it was over way too soon, you’re just so freaking happy for some inexplicable reason.

Okay enough of them, I could go on and on. Lol. I do plan on writing more Biker Bitches in the future, the next one in my crosshairs is T.A. I can’t leave the bitch hanging. I also want to address several emails I have concerning their nicknames. My biker bitches are strong, confident women who came up with their nicknames to give themselves strength. Someone even said that no woman would be called Sex Piston, but believe me, anyone that wants to call me Sex Piston would make my freaking day! And truth be told, both my son and my daughter have called me Crazy Bitch on occasion. I don’t take it in a derogatory or disrespectful way, I am a crazy bitch when I’m working. Their names are their amulets, they protect them. None of the women really deserve their nicknames, except for maybe Crazy Bitch. She’s definitely a little cray cray.

I want to thank everyone that made this book possible, C&D editing who bless her heart I don’t know how she puts up with me. I tell her all the time no one else would ever put up with me. Diamond in the Rough and Hot Tree Editing are also willing to go the extra mile when I want to add paragraphs and I’m too scared to tell Kristen what I’ve done. My son who keeps me calm with a steaming hot cup of coffee every morning. My daughter who makes me go out to play blackjack when I’ve been inside a little too long. My friend Sherry Williams, who texts me recipes to tempt me off my diet. But more than anything in the world, my fans who give me the drive to get up every morning, because I know they are waiting for me to finish, so they can fuss at me for the next one. Lol.

Yes, Rider is coming, Yes, Gavin is coming. I’m working on Rider’s book now and I’m already determined to make it come out in December, and Gavin’s will be out sometime in 2018. I haven’t forgotten about Dustin either. Good things come to all who wait.

I hope my fans are safe and sound after the hurricanes in Texas, and Florida. My prayers have been with you every step of the way and will continue to do so as you recover. Please be safe. I can’t imagine how hard it must be on all of you. If you need anything or someone to talk to please don’t hesitate to message me.

With all my love and prayers,
Jamie

What's Next?!

I hope everyone enjoyed Greer’s story. Thank you all for the great reviews! I keep telling you all that I have the best fans in the world, and I truly believe that from the bottom of my heart. I wish there was a way for me to show you how deep my appreciation goes in person, instead I will take every effort to show you with my writing.

Standing His Ground was meant to be a heartwarming story that I hope touched you in some way even if only for a small moment. You want to know something funny? When I finished Greer’s book, I went to bed loving it, when I woke up the next morning I hated it. If I had more time I probably would have literally thrown it away. It took me a couple of days to love it again, which is why I said I had a love/hate relationship with Greer. Lisa from Tasty Book Tours also talked me down from doing it. Lol. I came to the conclusion that Greer represented some of the men I used to know from southeastern Kentucky. Some of the men from there can be the biggest assholes in the world. If you don’t believe that I have a couple of brothers, cousins, and friends that I can introduce you to. If anything, I was being kind :). Greer is bragging to me that he made USA Today, as if he did all the work. I’m letting him take the credit, because as much of a jackass he is, he kinda deserves it.

Now that I have finished Greer I am currently working on the third book of the Dark Soul’s series. This might not be most popular series but it was the first book I wrote and it’s near and dear to my heart. From the email rants I have been getting, several of you are tired of waiting for it and want it like yesterday. The reason why I haven’t finished that series yet is not because I don’t want to, but because I intended it to coincide with other books that span different generations. The first generation which took place in the past and I have already finished, but it started back when I couldn’t afford a laptop, and most of it was when my mother was in the hospital (she hated to be alone), and I would stay with her and write to pass the time. I must find a way to get those two stories transferred from longhand to the computer. It’s a daunting task since anyone that has seen my handwriting knows that they have their work cut out for them. To concentrate on those stories would mean I would have to slow down on other books that everyone is waiting for like Rider, another Biker Bitch, and another Predator. See my dilemma? And before anyone tries to me, I haven’t forgotten about Ginny. I’m trying to get to her too, but I can only type so fast! Lol.

I know you all are busy, but I want to thank you all again for being so great!
