Now I realize most everyone looks like this on chore day and it’s not about the makeup–it’s about the transformation on the Wheat Belly way of life and encouraging those who are apprehensive to give it an honest try! What have you got to lose?
“For me, it was colitis, daily prescribed omeprazole, blood pressure meds, multiple migraines a month, daily joint/muscle pain, low energy, things I can’t even remember now and 170 pounds. Yes, there is more to lose, but time will take care of those too! My husband is no longer pre-diabetic, fatty liver gone and BP meds down to less than half.
“Was I perfect the whole time? Nope! I had my slips, but I’d correct it with the very next meal. No cheat days! I gave myself the motto ‘Accept it, correct it and move on!’
“My tips – if it’s not compliant, don’t bring it into your home. Plan ahead!

Destiny shares her recipe for the best fat bombs she’s ever had: Strawberry Cheesecake
Destany shared her recipe for Strawberry Cheesecake Fat Bombs in the Wheat Belly 10-Day Grain Detox Facebook page, re-posted here. People have gone wild for them!
“These were THE BEST fat bombs I’ve ever made: Strawberry Cheesecake!
“One of the hardest parts in the beginning of this WOE (way of eating) is consuming enough fat. After years of being taught ‘fat is bad’ it can be difficult to UN-learn that.
“I eat a couple for breakfast, 1 between lunch and dinner, and another before bed. Sunday is always a good day to prep for the week!”
Destany shared her recipe:
1 block cream cheese ROOM TEMP
1 block unsalted kerrygold butter ROOM TEMP
1/2 cup swerve confectioners
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup blended strawberries (more or less to taste)
“Add in the cream cheese and the butter, sweetener, & vanilla. Use an electric mixer and mix until it’s all smooth. If the mixture seems too thick, I add a little avocado oil to thin it out a bit. Fold in strawberry mix.
“I always put mine in little 2oz portion cups so they are easy to transport. You can leave it all in the big bowl and just scoop it out as you need it. Or you can put scoops on a cookie sheet and freeze, then move them all to a container, whatever fits your needs!
“Instead of strawberries you can use a little lemon juice & lemon zest, orange juice and orange zest, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, coco powder, peanut butter, just about anything! Have fun with it!
“Take it one day at a time and KNOW that you CAN be successful with this!!!♡♡”

L. reuteri bleu cheese salad dressing
Keoni is a Wheat Belly champion and success story, a frequent contributor to posts and recipes on the Wheat Belly 10-Day Grain Detox Facebook page. He loves to roast meats over a barbecue and post his wonderful creations on the page. He and his family have got to be among the healthiest and best fed people in Southern California.
He recently posted the photo above of a meal he created topped with his creation, L. reuteri bleu cheese salad dressing, adding:
“Who would have ever thought such simple foods would exponentially change the quality of our lives? My word, we are so very lucky.”
So here is what Keoni did to create this wonderful salad dressing for this dish of meat and vegetables:
L. reuteri bleu cheese salad dressing
Makes 4 cups
1 cup Lactobacillus reuteri yogurt
2 cups mayonnaise
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons red wine or other vinegar
3/4-1 cup of bleu cheese. (It’s best to buy a chunk and crumble it with a fork so there are more small pieces along with the chunks. That way, it will absorb easier into the mixture and become thicker as the cultures grow.)
“Mix all ingredients together in a quart jar. I like to make it the day before. That way, all the flavors blend together and it becomes much thicker. You may even have to serve it with by adding a bit of heavy cream.“
