Loves Intensity by Cassandra Ulrich
I’m excited to introduce my latest and 2nd novel, Love’s Intensity, a teen paranormal romance novel, released on July 11, 2013. I first plunged into writing novels with the release of my teen inspirational novel, A Beautiful Girl, on April 7, 2011. Billiard Buddies, a New Adult romance novella, will mark my third release coming soon. I enjoy writing characters with real life complexities.
I started out as a poet, entering competitions. I figured I’d write short stories, but I never thought I’d write full length novels. Never letting go of a dream a 5th grade teacher had for me and giving in to the encouragement of friends, I began writing Love’s Intensity, which had progressed in my mind for two months. It was challenging to create a beginning for a story where I met the characters already living out their lives, but after reading the first chapter, my friends asked for more. Having gone through three rewrites, I’m happy to present this story to everyone else. This novel is only the beginning. A series of novels is sure to follow. Because my characters are multifaceted, readers respond to them like they are real people. See below for a blurb, excerpt, and sites where a copy may be purchased.
Love’s Intensity Blurb:
Brad loves fast horses, cars, and bikes. Life would be perfect if his stepmother could only mind her own business. Instead, his father hired a longtime friend and her family to work in their home, turning his world into a feudal mess.
He wants to hate the new arrivals and it doesn’t help that Kressa, daughter of the newcomers, is the most gorgeous girl he’d ever laid eyes on. With a scent that draws him to her, Kressa causes him more internal conflict than he ever dreamed possible. He falls for her so deeply, he tells her a secret he’d never even told his best friends – that he’s training to be a ninja warrior.
Kressa adores her country and loves hanging out with her many cousins. News of the move to Massachusetts comes as a shock to her. She refuses to be happy in this new place working as a servant for a rich man and his mean son, who had the nerve to be cute. And why does her skin tingle every time her hand brushes against his?
Despite her efforts, she finds herself desperately longing for a friendship with the one boy who scowls at her. Matters are only made more complicated when his family and hers clash. When he goes on a dangerous mission, she wonders, will he return so she can tell him he’s won her heart or will their families manage to keep them apart?
Love’s Intensity Excerpt:
“Good job with the saddle,” Brad encouraged Kressa, “but next time you may want to use the stepping stool I got you yesterday. Keep Gentle Rider tied up to this post until you get settled, then you can untie her.” Moving the rake and pitchforks to the far end of the stable, Brad continued, “I have no idea what I would have done if you landed on these. I should have made sure these were properly put way, so the horses wouldn’t knock them over.” He picked up and brought the stepping stool over, placing it near Gentle Rider’s area.
“I suppose Papa would have had your head too.”
“Yeah, I’m glad you’re okay.”
Kressa rode her horse out the stable while Brad got his horse saddled, fed, and watered. After leading Silver Bullet into the yard, he asked Kressa, “Did you give her feed and water?”
****
Oh, no. Now he’ll be upset. He adores his horses.
“Sorry, I forgot. I was so eager to ride. I can do it now,” Kressa said, embarrassed that she forgot.
“No. It’ll take too much effort to get you on your horse again. I’ll go get it.” Kressa noticed Brad did not sound annoyed. He spoke to her in a matter-of-fact tone.
After feeding and watering her horse, Brad and Kressa galloped around the large grassy area. After riding for a half-hour, Brad pointed to the forest area. “Would you like to go through there and see what’s on the other side?”
“Yes,” Kressa eagerly responded, “I’ve wanted to know where you go when riding your horse.” Kressa realized too late she had exposed her secret.
“Have you been watching me? One day, I felt like I was being watched. I thought it might be you, but when I saw you in the dining room, I figured I must have been wrong.”
Kressa knew she ought to fess up. “It was me. I hid because I didn’t want you to know I was watching.”
“How did you run upstairs so fast? You didn’t look out of breath.”
“I held my breath until you moved away. I was exhausted.” Kressa tried to smile while casting her eyes to the ground. Brad laughed heartily.
“Let’s go,” he said, leading the way through a path in the forest, which had been created by much riding, to the grassy field on the other side.
When Brad and Kressa came out of the tree cover, the sun seemed to shine brighter due to the open space. No shrubs or little trees existed here, only light green short cut grass which reflected the sunlight. They raced the horses around the perimeter a couple times before coming to a stop.
****
Nina studied Julio while he watched Kressa during her riding lesson. When Brad led Kressa into the forest, Julio turned to Nina and barked, “Where is he taking her? I don’t like that boy. He’s not trustworthy. If he touches my girl…”
Nina interrupted, “He won’t touch her. He has strict orders from his father.”
“Nina, he’s a young man with an active libido. I don’t care what his orders are; he can’t be trusted to control what comes naturally. Now, he’s alone with her and under the cover of those trees,” Julio fumed.
“Julio, Kressa is a smart girl. She knows what we’ve taught her, what we expect. Even if he tried something, she would push him away.”
“But only if she doesn’t want him, Nina. He’s strong, good looking, and the only boy around to talk to. I’m going over there.”
“Please wait a few minutes. If they’re not back, then go, but please don’t hurt him.”
“You would elevate him over our daughter’s innocence?”
“No, Julio, of course not. I just don’t want you to do something you can’t return from. I love you.”
Julio shook his head and moved away from her. He must hate me for bringing him here. What can I do to change his mind?
****
Brad rode Silver Bullet alongside Kressa and Gentle Rider so the horses faced each other upon his approach. He gazed into Kressa’s eyes, longing to learn something new about the girl who lived in his house. Brad removed his riding glove and reached over to brush Kressa’s hair away from her face so he could touch her cheek. She did not shrink away. His fingertips tingled where her skin met his.
So beautiful. Brad’s heart pumped a little faster and his mind swirled. Does she feel drawn to me too? He shook his head slightly. “We should go back now,” Brad said tenderly, realizing once again that the warmth he felt when he touched Kressa also did something to his heart. It was better not to remain alone. He wondered if Kressa would ever admit whether she experienced any affection toward him. He found her hard to read sometimes.
Brad pulled on his glove, led the way back through the forest, and headed for the stable. After brushing, feeding, and watering all four horses, Brad and Kressa strolled back to the house. “Great lesson today. I think before long you’ll be able to go out on your own.”
“Really? That would be great. How many more lessons do I need?” She said eagerly.
“I would imagine one or two more.”
They both laughed at the good news. At that moment, Kressa’s dad appeared around some shrubs at the base of the hill. His face held a fiery red glow.
“Kressa, get to the house right now,” Mr. Morales said grabbing her arm and pushing her toward their apartment. “I don’t know what you were thinking today taking her through those woods, but I don’t like it.”
“Sir, there’s wide open space to run the horses on the other side of the trees. I wasn’t trying to seduce her,” Brad said, feeling some guilt for touching her cheek earlier.
Mr. Morales shot Brad a fierce look and took Kressa away.

Book Blurb:
An invisible wall built from the tears of those touched by death
An impossible love as divided as the world around them.
After Addison finds a nearly-dusted vampire in the garbage outside her building, her ability to stay off the supernatural world’s radar is deader than the vamp. Almost as dead as she’ll be if anyone thinks she put him there. Should she finish the job somebody else screwed up or move him somewhere humans won’t find him? To keep the Heights hidden, she may have shoved a stake into her own chest. Just when she thinks life couldn’t possibly get any more dangerous, she finds out who he is.
As vampire king and Prime to all races of supernatural beings in the North American zone, Rhyse is accustomed to getting what he wants without asking. But he neither wanted nor asked to be wounded in an ambush, waking up chained to a bed with a hole in his chest. Unfortunately, he needs help to discover who tried to kill him. But worse than that, his only ally is his captor, someone unaware she has the power to destroy their entire world.
As a prophesized war brews in the Heights, Addison and Rhyse must decide which carries more risk—trusting someone who could destroy you or trusting someone who could love you?
Excerpt:
Addison stumbled backwards, until the counter stopped her. It was over. It had been over ever since those chains came off. Ever since she brought him into her apartment. Into her life.
“I saved you, Rhyse. I could’ve left you outside until the sun came up.”
“I imagine you wish you had.”
“Can you…can you not kill me? Just take some, but not all?”
Rhyse brushed her hair behind her shoulder and curled his fingers around the nape of her neck, whispering, “Do you trust me that much?”
“I don’t even trust you a little.” She felt the sting of tears. “I don’t want to be turned. If you drain me, let me die.”
He ran his other hand up her shoulder, to her throat and slowly closed his fingers around it. One move and her neck would break. “To drain you I would have to drink from you. And that, my pet, I will not do.”
She didn’t know what he meant but now seemed like a bad time to argue.
“Did you know what you are? How many of you exist?”
She didn’t answer. Partially because speaking required the air he was cutting off. Then his hands were gone, just like the rest of him.
Was it over?
When one of the women behind the counter moaned, Addison went to make sure they were alright.
Rhyse was on top of one of them, his fangs obviously burrowed in her neck. The woman moaned again, her legs wrapping around him. One hand clutched his shoulder and the other slapped the wall, searching for a hold.
It had to have been shock that made it impossible to look away. Or run away. The woman’s moans got louder, then crested, and her body went limp. Not in a dead way, but in an I-just-had-the-best-orgasm-of-my-life way.
Get out of here.
“Leave and they will die.” His voice stopped her after only two steps. “Stay and they will wake up from a very pleasant, very erotic dream.”
She grinded her teeth when she heard another moan. He must have moved on to the other woman. With two to feed from, there was less of a chance he would drain them, but… “Why should I trust you?”
The woman’s moans stopped and she whined, “No.”
“I do not care if you trust me,” he said. “Only that you obey me.”
“Fuck you.” But she didn’t move. “Are they alive?”
“Of course. It is against the law to kill humans.”
“Then let me go.”
“You are not human, Addison.” His voice came from just over her shoulder.
“I am. I promise. Totally human.” Somehow he’d missed the fact that seers were human, despite her telling him at least five times.
She heard the shuffling of fabric and looked down to see him wrapping his already-bloody shirt around the arm she’d cut. He tied a knot with the sleeves and pulled it tight. There was no part of this that she understood.
She sucked in a breath when he put his hands on her hipbones. Then another as they slid to her belly and down, pressing her back into him. She felt his heat and a vibration on her back as he made a sound similar to a cat’s purr but scarier. Clenching her eyes shut, she waited for death.
“You should thank them.” His voice was all sex. Dangerous, risky, awesome sex. “They just saved your life.”
They did? “Thank you,” she called out with a shaking voice. “Now that your belly’s full, how about you back off a little?”
“I should kill you, Addison.”
“I’m going to have to disagree with you about that.”
After a moment he stepped away, sighing as if he just made a really tough decision and wasn’t sure it was the right one.
“So,” she said, heading for the door, “it seems like you’re feeling better which is great. I’m really happy for you. Since you don’t need me anymore, I’m gonna go now. I’ll see you around.”
“Come to me, Addison.” His eyes were back to their original inhumanly beautiful color. Though he didn’t quite look calm, he looked satisfied.
“No.”
“Come to me or I will snap your neck.”
“Okay.”
“If you had simply brought a human to me, this all could have been avoided.”
“I was just thinking the same thing.” Total lie—she wasn’t thinking a goddamn thing besides, “Shiiiiit!”
“You and I have things to discuss, and a few memories to alter along the way back to your home.”
Damn it on many counts. “Alter or wipe?”
“Alter, of course. Although my strength has returned, wiping that many minds would still be highly taxing. I prefer to save my power for other activities.”
Like…? Nah, she didn’t want to know.
He opened the door and gestured for her to go first. Which he’d probably never done before. Minions opened doors for him and she doubted chivalry ranked high on his list of valuable traits. But she went because when you gotta go, you gotta go.
“Did you know?” he asked.
What was it with that question? “Know what? That your victims come while you feed? Yeah, I heard it happens occasionally.”
“Always. They always come while I feed. If it were possible, I would show you.”
“I just heard more proof than I wanted to, thanks.”
“I have no doubt that it would be far more enjoyable to feel you come than to hear her do it.”

Cover reveal day for ‘Falling into You’ by L.T. Kelly (thats me by the way).
I woke up this morning and immediately thought, ‘Today is the day to show the world my new cover!’. Exciting stuff for me, seen as it’s been burning a hole in my hard drive for the past few weeks and I’m absolutely horrific at keeping secrets.
After I’d shared the cover a friend text me to say what a busy day ahead of them they had. I text them back ‘I’m busy being an international author. I just revealed the cover of my next book, I was wearing my PJ’s and had last nights make-up down my face. I’m now starting the housework whilst occasionally googling myself.’
That was a true story.
Here is the cover, I love it! It’s been in my head since the cover for ‘Falling to Pieces’ was made. Arijana from Cover it Designs! never fails to deliver what is wanted. She’s my ‘forever’ cover designer.
I wrote some terrible blurb at least a hundred times. It just wouldn’t turn out right. In the end I did what any sane person would do, I contacted a friend of mine thats an editor and asked him to have a look at it. Matthew Price was my saviour when he transformed what I’d written into a beautiful back of the book blurb. Thanks so much Matthew.

I had an amazing author friend of mine, Lauren Stewart, contacted me about the ‘spelling mistake’ in my blurb. I laughed so much before I cheekily told her that we were here first, and therefore it’s her that spells ‘realises’ wrong. I smiled at her reply that said the last thing she wanted to do was piss off a Brit.
I recently read the first part of Lauren’s series. ‘Hyde’ is the best book I’ve read in a long time, of course I contacted her and told her how much I loved it. If someone told me that the author of those books would be sharing my new book cover I would have laughed. She is amazing and I’m a total fangirl!
I’m also very lucky to call Rik Bertrand my dear friend. He waited until the release of my cover to share his poem ‘Falling into You’ with the world. Rik has been dubbed as the most prolific American poet of our time. I love his work so much, he touches my very soul with his words and I’m truly humbled that he has wrote a poem for each of my books. Thank you so much. I’ll never be able to convey how grateful I am.
Falling into You
By Rik Bertrand
I was falling to pieces,
Falling deep into despair,
Then the scent of him,
And I felt that love so rare.
We were bound as one,
With emotional bliss,
Then torn apart,
And now his love I miss.
Searching the world over,
With no clues in hand,
My world turns to dust,
From the loss of my man.
My whole life I searched,
For my darling prince true,
Many frogs I did kiss,
But none of them you.
Then you stand before me,
As you did in the past,
You confess your true love
And my heart warms at last.
I am falling into you,
Giving you my soul,
Giving you my love,
Relinquishing control.
I am falling into you,
Do not let me down.
Capture my essence,
So we can be bound.
©REB (MARCH 2014) based on new book to be released by L T Kelly
‘Falling into You’ is currently with my wonderful editor, Kim ‘Goddess’ Young. I’ve told her to let me know when she starts working on it so I can get drunk. She promises that she will so that I can have a drink for her. I told her that I’ll have at least two…she’s going to need it!
Thank you so much to the bloggers, tweeters and Facebooker’s who have helped reveal this cover. You are all amazing, your support brings a tear to my eye.

London Author Fair 2014
On Friday the 28th of February I took the long, grey, and drizzly journey to Covent Garden in London. After falling on top of a man on the tube (he didn’t seen to mind) I arrived at the hospital club, poised and ready to learn.
Who did I feel the fair was aimed at?
LAF was pitched as being aimed at every author. I would say that the primary focus was new authors. Manuscript ink still wet and no idea what to do with it. That isn’t to say that the majority of attending authors fell into that category. The people I met seemed to be in the same situation as myself. A book or books already out there. They were mostly self-published as well.
Luckily, I only went to meet people and get marketing ideas. If you’re a new author and didn’t attend you almost certainly missed out on your chance to pitch to a literary agent as well garner lots of information about other routes.
I went to meet other people, network and basically have a weekend off from endless streams of washing, ironing and housework. Shush, don’t tell my husband.
That isn’t to say that I didn’t learn anything though!
What did I learn?
I learnt that there are some lovely and talented people in this industry. I was pleasantly greeted first thing in the morning by a long time Facebook follower and author, James Minter. It’s great to meet the people you interact with on-line in real life. Well….some of them anyway. I’m happy to say he was one of them.
I learnt about a completely alien concept to me. Crowd funding. The lovely ladies at Pubslush pitched the idea to a small group at a workshop. They talked about their company and the success stories they’ve had and relevant ideas. I’m pleased to say my campaign is set up and live. Please take a look at my rewards, there’s something for everyone.
http://pubslush.com/books/id/1913
There were things I didn’t learn from, but I had fun anyway. Like attending a workshop about social media. For one, I got to watch the very handsome and gifted Ben Galley talking about tweeting as I tweeted, whilst standing next to someone tweeting.
Did I get my say?
Absolutely. I got my chance to express my annoyance towards the shipping costs for UK authors purchasing copies of there own books. I was assured that Amazon had received much of the same feedback all day.
Apparently they are looking into it.
The author sitting next to me, the very lovely Luke Talbot also expressed his annoyance that US authors can gift copies of their book whist UK authors remain powerless to gift specific titles. I agreed wholeheartedly due to the fact it leaves us open to piracy.
How did it all end?
The day was rounded off with a panel including literary agents, founders of self-publishing platforms, independent author Polly Courtney, and traditionally published author Adele Parks.
They came up with some worrying comments, well worrying for me anyway. They agreed that the ratio of writers will be the same as the amount of readers. This inspired a comment from Adele that the reader will go back to traditionally published books due to the lack of quality in the indie book world.
If I’m honest I took offence to that. There are authors out there, such as myself who realise the importance having full structural edits and great cover design. I was glad that Polly also seemed to take offence. She pointed out that whilst, of course, there is some crap out there by way of independent authors, there are also some amazing books and writers.
The After Party.
Possibly the best part of the day. Pubslush provided my lovely and much needed wine following the day’s events.
Luke Talbot and James Minter asked me to dinner, for want of a better offer, I accepted. (Just kidding guy’s it was a pleasure, except when you took pictures of yourselves with my phone…I trusted you.)
We had some great chats with Polly Courtney and Ben Galley (did I mention he is easy on the eye?)
More lessons learnt…
I have to admit I caused a marital dispute for a work colleague of mine that one -hundred per cent believed that her colleague would never dupe her.
I posted a picture on my FB page with Luke Talbot and a Russian author called Grigory Ryzhakov. He has an uncanny resemblance to the actor that plays spider man. I can vouch he’s a great guy! But sorry folks, the guy in the picture is not Tobey Maguire.

Why all authors living in Britain should attend the London Author Fair.
I’ve always felt very envious of my American counterparts.
Why? I hear you ask…
It’s all down to the fact that I feel that they have more resources than us authors here in Great Britain. We typically have a tiny room crammed full of authors and ‘wannabe’ authors at The London Book Fair. Thats it!
If you take the time to google ‘Author events 2014′ and see how lucky the Americans really are! I’m green with envy when I see the NOLA author event and cutely named conferences for authors. I pout and get stroppy when I see what amazing times my FB friends have had at these events. Not only that, but they get to meet each other too. I for one am looking forward to meeting the authors I’ve made friends with on-line.
Being an author can be a lonely world. I only know one other writer ‘in real life’ and she has yet to publish anything. I can tell you that I’m practically chomping at the bit to be surrounded by like-minded and creative people.
Author events and book fairs in simple terms give writers the unmissable opportunity to network, promote and gain information. Thats the bottom line.
The London Author Fair is hosting literary agents, successful authors, marketeers, Amazon, Create space, Kobo, Nook, Blurb…the list goes on. It’s definitely the place to be.
A few people have turned their noses up at the original ticket price of £150. Admittedly, I was in a bit of a panic of how I’d be able to afford the hefty fee. On the other hand I realised that I wanted to be surrounded by genuine writers and not those just popping in ‘for a laugh’. Also, the event is being held in a prestigious central London private members club, they’re hardly able to charge a small amount for that. They have realised that perhaps, £150 is a little out of some authors reach and dropped the ticket price to £95 and refunded the difference back to those who had already purchased a ticket at the original price. I think this clearly displays that the organisers of this event (Authoright) really want the event to work out. If that means lowering the ticket price to get people to attend then so be it.
I’m also determined for this event to work. I have waited for a long time for an event like this to be available to the authors of the United Kingdom.
At this moment I’m working on the second book of ‘The Falling Series’, so I’m not in a position to pitch to agents or publishers. I will have written my next planned novel by next year, so this year is a trial run. Please make this event work so they do one next year! The only thing I want to gain from attending LAF 2014 is new friends.
I really hope to see you there! Let me know if you’re coming. The countdown starts now, and I’m very excited.

When mom says dad doesn’t love you anymore, it means dad doesn’t love your mom anymore.
It’s been a long long time since my last post. Please accept my apologies and know that I’ve been putting my time to good use.
I come to you today and ask that you consider what I say. I’d firstly like to begin with a disclaimer to say that I am writing this post in my own words. I have not written this post because anyone has asked me to. These words are my own except for where I have quoted statistics, which I will reference appropriately. Secondly, if you have issue with what I have to say then please contact me via the contact section of this page where I will provide an address for you to send your expensive solicitors letter to. When I receive it, I will laugh heartily and rip it up.
COME ON NOW LADIES!
Six years ago I married a man that had two children. I met him around seven years after he’d separated from and divorced his wife, I wasn’t involved in the break down of their relationship.
I was called every name under the sun by that woman, accused of having sex in front of her children…all sorts of things that couldn’t be called fun at all.
She attributed to the breakdown of the relationship I had with my mother and sister-in-law because they always stood up for her. Mainly, they were terrified because she continually threatened them with not being able to see the children. I begged them to take a stand, but they didn’t listen. I watched my husband cry with sadness and exasperation on countless occasions. I watched as relations worsened over the years.
Our marriage has been undoubtedly affected by these events, and I put measures in place to ensure it could no longer happen. I refused to visit the city they live in. Not at all. I haven’t been there for years and I simply never will. I have also stopped seeing the children.
I’m writing today as I watch another drama unfold. A man that I am related to has been stopped from seeing his children. He decided he no longer loved his partner. He’d grown tired of subjecting his young children to relentless arguing. He left his home with a computer and some clothes. The rest was left and subsequently sold by her.
The first tricks started as she made arrangements for him to see the children, she’d call last minute and request his immediate presence or he wouldn’t be able to see them. Once he came down with a severe sickness and diareaoh bug. He notified her immediately that he wouldn’t be able to have the children. He was bombarded by messages asking where he was, of course he was puzzled by this as he’d informed her. That was until the transcript of messages was provided to the court with his original massage removed in a feat to display his unreliability.
Another letter provided to the court was written by the children’s pre-school. I accidentally caught sight of the letter and it caused me to have grave concern. I am a healthcare professional and therefore I’m aware of the safeguarding rules that effect settings in the UK. No times, dates or reference to witnesses were provided, just a letter stating they felt intimidated by him and some behaviour he’d displayed in front of staff that I felt, having known the person for all of their lives, was wholly exaggerated for the purposes of the letter. They also stated that they had never mentioned his behaviour before because they felt intimidated by him. What the hell? If someone acts in an aggressive manner towards staff and/or children you report it immediately through the appropriate channels, if you don’t you’re acting illegally/irresponsibly, plain and simple. Of course, I went to OFSTED and reported this to them. I didn’t do that for any other reason than thae fact I had seen this letter and knew what had happened was fundamentally wrong whether the contents were true or not.
The woman (mother of the children) that I’m talking about knew it was me that had made a complaint and wrote a status on Facebook which was seen by a friend of mine, insinuating that I should feel “silly” because they had received a good OFSTED report in retrospect (I know the woman is a little dim so to save dictionary time, retrospect means after the event.) I hate to have to rain on their parade but that setting will still have a marked complaint against them regardless of the report, which will in turn effect their uptake. Rightfully so, I may add. Also, well, anyone can ‘cook’ the books. It’s meaningless to me, accept for the fact that perhaps they will think twice before affecting someone else’s parental rights in the future. I hope that the setting has received a lesson learned. I also hope that other statements presented to the court by friends of hers in professional positions would be put to rest by the machine called Facebook.
Moving on…no, thats not all, unfortunately. My relative was almost killed in a horrific accident around eighteen months ago. He has suffered re-entry into surgery for these injuries. He attended hospital for surgery in November 2013. Unfortunately the surgery was unsuccessful on many occasions and he was kept in hospital for a longer period than was originally planned. He contacted the court and notified them that he would be unable to attend the contact hearing due to him being in hospital. However, this was never acknowledged at the time of the hearing. His ex-partner knew of the circumstance as she had threatened him on the telephone that she would kill herself and the children (this was not the first instance). He immediately left the hospital and attended the residence despite medical advice. A sign of a bad father, I’m sure? Yeah, right.
He was assigned with a no contact order and ordered to pay costs because he didn’t arrive in court. His ex-partner played dumb despite knowing full well where he was. They can be excused for this by taking a secondary glance at her. She does look dumb.
Due to the fact he was served with a no contact order, the mother changed the children’s surname’s into her own. Not only that, she changed their middle names from a highly respected and devastatingly lost family middle name. Utterly disgusting and clearly done to inspire annoyance from our family.
She then progressed this into a no contact order. Period. The estranged couple had agreed on a ‘go-between’ person during the no-contact order, this then progressed. So when my relative contacted the ‘go-between’ person to ask what his children would like for christmas he was contacted by police to notify him that he was in breech of his court order.
Both of his children were born in December, plus it’s christmas. He is unable, by court order to even send a card or gift to his kids.
If you’re a mother, your partner has cheated on you. Lied to you even. Ask yourself, has he been a good dad? I know you hurt and things didn’t pan out the way you wanted or expected. I know their are times where fathers don’t deserve to see their children for whatever reason. I’m not doing that down.
But ask yourself:
Does a man that teaches his mute autistic child to sign not deserve to see his child?
Does a man that can’t sleep because his neonatal baby isn’t with him, so he sits all night with him at hospital doesn’t deserve to see his child?
Does a man who worked whilst his partner stayed at home from day one of pregnancy one and provided finances to ensure good survival not deserve to see his kids?
Does a man who returned home and put his job in jeopardy due to requests from his partner having a hard time with the kids not deserve to see his kids?
Tell me. Tell me if I’m wrong? Not all cases are the same. Everything I’ve said can be backed up by evidence. This is is sick and wrong. It shouldn’t be allowed.
Does a man that sells all of his worldly possessions to buy his kids christmas presents deserve this?
My relative’s mother was being harassed by his ex-partner. She had heard she was pregnant. This wasn’t an surprising result from the fact that the neighbours had made contact to say that “all and sundry were coming and going” from the house they had lived in together.
After much exasperation and threats my relatives mother wrote to her (the mother’s) solicitor:
Dear Mr Cottam
I would like you to correspond with your client x and ask her to refrain from contacting me via phone and email as I am now finding her behaviour tantamount to harasement.
I am the mother of xxx, throughout the breakdown in their relationship I have tried to remain neutral, and my only concern has been the welfare of my Grandchildren, and possible visitation.
Miss x when unable to drive my son to distraction takes it upon herself to send me emails, calling me deogrative names and making horrendous accusations.
She emailed me today stating that I am now unable to see my grandchildren because I have (unspecifed)game plans, to which I have no idea what she is talking about.
As to my grandchildrens birthday and christmas presents, money is to be set aside for when Adam gets access and I will let the children choose gifts themselves.
I could approach a solicitor as to the continual bombardment of unsolicited emails and phone calls, in an effort to stop her from harrasing me, but as S has now informed us she is 12 weeks pregnant and due to the fact her previous pregnancy with their youngest child x, was traumatic, I do not wish to be accused of upsetting her and her unborn child.
I write to you purely on my own behalf, but perhaps it would be more prudent for Miss x to send any communications she may wish to convey to either myself or x through your offices, so the subjects in question may not become so heated and vitreolic.
Thanking you in anticipation
This is the HORRIFIC reply she received:
Dear Madam
I am in receipt of your email of 21st November 2013 and confirm I have written to my client with a copy of your email and have requested her instructions regarding the same.
I would point out I have also spoken over the telephone briefly with her concerning your contention that she is pregnant. She found this highly amusing as she isn’t pregnant.
Yours faithfully

Glad they found that highly amusing. We did too. We all knew she wasn’t pregnant, but as with anything in life,we took the precaution.
I am horrified that the laws of this country allows circumstances like this to occur. I’ve already said and understood that some dad’s are deadbeat, they don’t want to see their kids. Disgusting.
I know their are those that are violent mentally and physically.
However, apart from the above reasons, you have no reason to behave in such a despicable way.
Google the consequences and pity those who have no choice. Get a grip of your hate and need for control. Move on. Live.
“Daddy doesn’t love you anymore” – “Daddy doesn’t love me anymore.”

The great review race!
I am running a month long giveaway. I really wanted some more reviews. Everyone knows that reviews are the lifeblood of an author and I’ve been extremely lucky to have had some awesome reviews already. Theres no beating that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you read one.
I am genuinely touched that people seem to love it. Even if they hate it…it made them feel something, right?
The reason that I have set up this Rafflecopter giveaway the way that I have is to thank the people who have bought and reviewed my book already. I’m grateful for every reader that I’ve already captured, and this is just my way of saying thanks. I don’t want to be one of those authors that only rewards new readers…where would you be without ALL of your readers? Every reader deserves the same amount of attention, past or present.
I’m rewarding buyers past or present with 10 entries. I’m also giving 5 entries to anyone who has already reviewed and giving them the opportunity to spread their review across the platforms available for 5 entries per review. All of these opportunities are available to new readers too!
My book will never be FREE on any platform. I simply believe that it’s far to easy to ‘one-click’ a free book. You’re not investing any time into finding out whether that book is for you by reading the reviews or even reading the blurb. I believe that could result in not so great reviews based on the fact that the reader doesn’t like that kind of book rather than the book is ‘bad’.
Therefore anyone that wants a FREE copy will have to e-mail me for a copy. I’m even throwing in an entry for requesting it!
Blurb
When Teagan Lewis moves from rural Montana to the bright lights of London with her maker Thomas, she expects to live as harmoniously as she has for the last one hundred-fifty years.
Teagan didn’t know she had a heart or soul until she met Marc Romano.
However, it quickly becomes clear that Marc is forbidden fruit. All the signs that he isn’t human were there from the beginning, but she chose to ignore them…to her peril.
Can she simply walk away from this mesmirising stranger? Or should she risk her immortality to be with the man she has fallen in love with?

-M’s Sinful Reviews.
‘This book to me should be an over all 60 stars, but the most we can rate a book is 10. Please go her fan site, blog site and twitter . Contact her find out how you can purchase this book ASAP!!!! Trust me You DON’T. Want. TO. Miss. This. Book.’
-Mousiey Book Reviews
The main thing I enjoyed about this book was that it wasn’t like every other book that features vampires and werewolves. Instead of a young naive woman falling for the new guy who turns out to be a vampire, the main female character is strong and fights for what she wants, for who she wants. The main male character, Marc is another hot book boyfriend, who you will instantly want to read more about after his introduction into the story. This book has a great storyline with likeable characters and well detailed descriptions, L.T Kelly has done an awesome job and I’m looking forward to reading more of her work.
