One such idea

That springs to mind while doing something else…I should really test the boys to make sure they are ready for their upcoming grades.  School will have been in session for about a month before they have their first days.  These will be their first days in the classroom in over 3 years!  I want them to feel ready and confident.

SO…I just ordered three old copies of What Your ____ Grader Needs to Know.

They’re a little dated, but $.01 + shipping each.  Can’t beat that.  ESPECIALLY since it is going to be impossible for me to “cram" them into readiness in a month.  I just want to know going in what they DO know.  I believe Sean will be set for grade 3.  After all, he just finished grade 2 via Hoosier Virtual Academy.

But the other two…we shall see!

This is how my morning looks

Feel happy about the move
Think of something to be done re: the move
Start doing it, add to calendar to follow up
Watch mechanic stab himself in my driveway re: car repair (he’s okay)
Shoo Tim out the door w/ instructions for move stuff
Start unloading dishes
Think of something urgent to do
Start doing it
Go back to dishes
Think of something else to do/note
Go back to dishes
Realize haven’t eaten

Etc. Etc.  I have a feeling it’s not going to let up, either.  Maybe by October.

Opera Singer Becomes (Soprano) Voice Of Protest In Portugal

Anti-austerity protesters throw Molotov cocktails in Greece and blockade parliament in Spain. The Portuguese are a bit more mellow. Ana Maria Pinto shot to fame for drowning out the country’s president in song. She’s now a regular at street protests, leading choirs of ordinary people venting against Portugal’s conservative fiscal policy and its soaring unemployment rate.

Happy Friday!!!

So much to do, so little brain space to process.

We are waiting on finalization of our purchase agreement on a new home.  I will be so relieved when that comes through!

I have so many errands to run today.

I have to review comics.

I feel crazy happy!
