The pixie is mostly found in Cornwall, England. Electric blue in colour, up to eight inches in height and very mischievous, the pixie delights in tricks and practical jokes for all descriptions. Although wingless, it can fly and has been known to seize unwary humans by the ears and deposit them at the tops of tall trees and buildings. Pixies produce a high-pitched jabbering intelligible only to other pixes. They bear live young.

The sky is crying...
Oh, no wait, that is, I meant to say, my thighs are crying!
I took the kids to Squire Boone Caverns yesterday. They each got free admission for having done the summer reading program at the local library. It’s normally very pricey for me to take my whole family to Squire Boone, so that was quite a prize!
Oh, I still blew about $40-50 on the trip, but, still. That’s about half what it would have been. And now we are resolved to go back soon (and zipline!) because see what duck faces leaving hath wrought?
Okay, so it was just GiGi doing the duck face, but the boys were good sports and joined in so Mommy could snap this cute pic.
See how dirty her knees are? Well, I was covered in mud from waist to knee because…and this leads us back to the first paragraph…that girl had to be carried through 98% of the cave. 73 stairs from the surface to the cavern floor. 73 steps back up. And the whole cave tour from mouth to “World’s 2nd Largest Rimstone Dam" and that is not a euphemism for *anything* dirty.
I was so tired last night! Had a shower, barely got to see Tim, then ran out to enjoy a visit with my friend author Scarlet Wolfe. Came home and dropped. Woke up sore. Sat and wrote (4k for the day on Troll Or Park, YAY!). Got mobbed by kids. Stood up and am SO sore it is ridiculous!
Going to try and write another 4k today, and take the kids to the library. After that, I’m spent, I’m QUITE sure!
