Cuatro Maneras Que Dios Contesta Nuestras Oraciones
“Ustedes, los que son padres, si sus hijos les piden un pescado, ¿les dan una serpiente en su lugar? O si les piden un huevo, ¿les dan un escorpión? ¡Claro que no! Así que si ustedes, gente pecadora, saben dar buenos regalos a sus hijos, cuánto más su Padre celestial dará el Espíritu Santo a quienes lo pidan”. Lucas 11:11-13 (NTV)
Dios siempre responde cada oración —pero no siempre de la manera que quieres— y Él lo hace en cuatro maneras.
Cuando lo que pides no es correcto, Dios dice, “No”. Al igual que cuando los padres le dicen “no” a sus hijos por cientos de buenas razones, Dios no te debe una explicación cada vez que dice “no” a tu petición.
Cuando el tiempo no es el correcto, Dios dice, “Más despacio”. Hay una gran diferencia entre un retraso y una negación. “No” y “todavía no” no son la misma cosa, y aprender a aceptar la diferencia demuestra madurez espiritual.
Cuando la petición y el tiempo son los correctos, pero no estás bien, Dios dice, “Crece”. Él quiere que hagas algo en tu vida antes de que responda a tu oración, porque no estás listo para manejar la respuesta.
Cuando la petición, el tiempo y tú, están en el momento correctos, entonces Dios dice, “Adelante”. Dios a menudo nos da luz verde a nuestras oraciones ¡Es una razón para celebrar!

Dios nunca te va a dar nada que es dañino o malo para ti. Después de todo, ¿si los padres imperfectos saben cómo dar cosas buenas a sus hijos, cuánto más Dios, quien es bueno y perfecto, hará más por ti? Él está listo para responder tu oración —en Su tiempo y de forma perfecta.

God’s Love Is Forever
“I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angels won’t, and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep God’s love away. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, or where we are—high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean—nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when he died for us.”
Romans 8:38-39 (TLB)
No matter how bad life gets, you can rest in one important truth: God won’t stop loving you.
You’ll have things go right. You’ll have things go wrong. But God’s love will never end—you can count on that.
That truth should be one of the most important sources of joy in your life!
The Bible says it like this in Romans 8:38-39: “I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angels won’t, and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep God’s love away. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, or where we are — high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean — nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when he died for us” (TLB).
That’s good news.
When you put your hand in God’s hand, he grabs it and won’t let go. God holds on to you with all he has.
When my kids were little, we went to the Grand Canyon. When we walked up to the edge, I grabbed the hands of my two youngest children, Josh and Matthew. Of course, they wanted to get closer to the edge than I wanted them to get. They tried to squirm and shake free, but I wouldn’t let go. I was their father, and I loved them.
You’ll have times in your life when you’ll want to let go of God’s hand. You’ll want to give up your commitment to Christ when times get tough.
But God won’t let go of you—ever. Once you put your hand in his, it’s there to stay.
If you could earn your salvation by working for it, you could lose it the moment you stopped working for it. But you didn’t earn your relationship with God. It was a free gift. Once it has been given, it can’t be taken back.
That’s an unimaginable source of joy for any believer.

God’s love will never end. In what ways does this truth bring you joy?

Romans 3:39 promises: “Nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when he died for us” (TLB). Have you put your hand in God’s by trusting Jesus as your Savior? If you’re ready to commit your life to Jesus, then pray this prayer:
“Dear Jesus, you have promised that if I believe in you, everything I’ve ever done wrong will be forgiven, I will learn the purpose of my life, and you will accept me into your eternal home in heaven one day.
“I confess my sin, and I believe you are God, my Savior. I receive you into my life as my Lord. Today, I’m turning every part of my life over to you. I want to follow you and do what you tell me to do.
“Jesus, I am grateful for your love and your sacrifice that make it possible for me to join you in heaven. I know I don’t deserve it. And I thank you that I don’t have to earn or work for my salvation, because I know that is impossible. I believe, once I accept your love and salvation, nothing can ever separate me from that.
“I want to use the rest of my life to serve you instead of serving myself. I humbly commit my life to you, and I ask you to save me and accept me into your family. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.”

Dios Conoce nuestras Debilidades y todavía nos Ama
“[Jesús] Nuestro Sumo Sacerdote comprende nuestras debilidades, porque enfrentó todas y cada una de las pruebas que enfrentamos nosotros, sin embargo, él nunca pecó. Así que acerquémonos con toda confianza al trono de la gracia de nuestro Dios. Allí recibiremos su misericordia y encontraremos la gracia que nos ayudará cuando más la necesitemos”. Hebreos 4:15-16 (NTV)
Hace años hubo un libro llamado “¿Por qué tengo miedo de decirte quién soy?” bueno, esta es la respuesta: Si te digo quien soy en realidad y no te gusta, estoy en un rio sin remo, porque es todo lo que tengo.
Y así, ocupamos la mayoría de nuestras vidas usando máscaras, pretendiendo ser personas que no somos, porque tenemos miedo de que si dejamos que otros vean lo que realmente somos, nos rechazarán. Es uno de nuestros miedos más profundos.
Porque Dios siempre es bueno y nunca malo, Dios nunca te rechazará, incluso cuando pecas ante Él y lo desobedeces y lo hieres. ¡Siempre puedes volver! Él te recibirá, no te rechazará, cuando humildemente te confiesas ante Él.
La Biblia dice, “Aunque mi padre y mi madre me abandonen, el Señor me mantendrá cerca. Enséñame cómo vivir, oh Señor. Guíame por el camino correcto, porque mis enemigos me esperan… Sin embargo, yo confío en que veré la bondad del Señor mientras estoy aquí, en la tierra de los vivientes” Salmo 27:10-11, 13 (NTV). Puedes haber cometido una gran equivocación. Dios es el Dios de las segundas oportunidades. ¿Por qué? Porque Él es un Padre bueno y misericordioso.
Ahora, debido a que Dios siempre es bueno y misericordioso, cuando oramos siempre podemos estar seguros y confiados. No tenemos que venir temerosos ante Dios llenos de terror. Podemos venir a Él y decir, “Dios, sabes que me equivoqué —eso es lo que yo soy. Pero Tú eres un padre bueno —eso es lo que Tú eres. Y es como Tú eres lo que importa”.

God Will Meet Your Needs, Not Your ‘Greeds’
“My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:19 (NIV)
One of our biggest worries tends to be about our ability to provide for our needs.
But it shouldn’t be!
The Bible says, “My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19 NIV).
What a joyful promise for those who are in Christ!
God doesn’t promise to meet all your “greeds.” He doesn’t promise a fancy car or mansion. God is not a genie in a bottle. But he will give you all you need.
Most of us don’t really understand this, so we don’t pray for it. One of my favorite verses in the Bible is Psalm 84:11: “The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right” (NLT).
Make note of these three words: no good thing.
When my kids were growing up, I wanted to give them good things. I might withhold something bad from them—something that would harm them or something that would cause them to be stunted in their spiritual, physical, or emotional growth. But I wouldn’t withhold anything good from them.
If I, as a dad, want to give my children good things, how much more does a Heavenly Father who’s perfect want to do likewise?
God solved your biggest problem—your sin problem—when he came to Earth and died for you. If he was willing to do that, don’t you think he cares about the other issues you’re dealing with?
Absolutely. He cares about your finances. He cares about your health. He cares about your career. He cares about you!

Dios Te Perdona. Ahora Perdónate a Tí Mismo.
“No nos castiga por todos nuestros pecados; no nos trata con la severidad que merecemos… Llevó nuestros pecados tan lejos de nosotros como está el oriente del occidente”. S almo 103:10, 12 (NTV)
Dios siempre nos da lo que necesitamos, no lo que nos merecemos. Salmo 103:10, 12 dice: “No nos castiga por todos nuestros pecados; no nos trata con la severidad que merecemos… Llevó nuestros pecados tan lejos de nosotros como está el oriente del occidente” (NTV).
En lugar de darnos el castigo que merecemos, Jesucristo pagó por todos nuestros pecados y todos nuestros errores. Me gusta que la Biblia diga, “tan lejos de nosotros como está el oriente del occidente”, porque no hay fin para el este y el oeste. Hay un polo norte y hay un polo sur. Pero no hay fin de este a oeste. ¡Dios simplemente ha tomado nuestro pecado y lo ha eliminado!
Y si Dios te ha perdonado, entonces necesitas perdonarte a ti mismo.
Hay un personaje en la Biblia, el rey David, que cometió adulterio y luego, para encubrirlo, asesinó al marido de la mujer. Esos son pecados muy graves: asesinato y adulterio. ¿David merecía ser perdonado? No. ¿Merecía David misericordia? No. Pero David sabía que Dios es un Dios bueno, y por eso pidió misericordia. El oró: “Ten compasión de mí, oh Dios, conforme a tu gran amor; conforme a tu inmensa bondad, borra mis transgresiones. Lávame de toda mi maldad y límpiame de mi pecado” Salmo 51:1-2 (NVI).
Si estás luchando con un gran pecado en este momento, debes ir a leer todo el Salmo 51. Todo el Salmo se basa en quién es Dios, no quién eres.
Déjame dejar esto bien claro, Dios te perdona no porque seas bueno, sino porque Él es bueno. Él es un buen Dios y tiene un buen plan para ti, incluso cuando lo arruinas todo en gran manera. ¡Nada puede separarte de su amor!

Fear Not—God Is for You!
“What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?”
Romans 8:31 (NLT)
Psychologists have identified hundreds of different known fears that people can have. Fear is a universal problem—and it takes away your joy.
But here’s the good news: You don’t have to be afraid. You have God on your side!
“What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?” (Romans 8:31 NLT).
With God on your side, you don’t need anything else. God plus one equals a majority.
What’s your greatest fear? Is it embarrassment? Failure? Rejection? Disappointing others? Not fitting in?
Satan uses all of these fears to rob you of joy. He knows what will make you joyful, so he creates fears to oppose those things.
For instance, Satan knows doing what’s right will always bring you joy. So he makes you afraid of what other people will think if you do the right thing. He makes you worry more about your popularity than pleasing God.
Satan also knows one of the greatest sources of joy in life is when you share the love of Christ with an unbeliever. So he makes you afraid to tell people about Jesus.
The truth is, to find joy, you need only one thing. You need to live for an audience of one: God. That’s Jesus’ path to complete and total joy.
He said, “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete” (John 15:11 NIV).
You can have joy in life, knowing that God is for you. Fear not!

También Puedes Alegrarte al Enfrentar Pruebas
“También nos alegramos al enfrentar pruebas y dificultades porque sabemos que nos ayudan a desarrollar resistencia”. Romanos 5:3 (NTV)
Muchas personas conocen la historia bíblica de José, cuyos hermanos lo vendieron a la esclavitud, pero terminó siendo el segundo al mando en Egipto. Años después de su traición, José se enfrentó a sus hermanos y les dijo: “Es verdad que ustedes pensaron hacerme mal, pero Dios transformó ese mal en bien para lograr lo que hoy estamos viendo: salvar la vida de mucha gente” Génesis 50:20 (NVI).
Eso se llama sufrimiento redentor, donde sufres por el beneficio de otras personas. ¡Es lo que Jesús hizo por ti! Cuando murió en la cruz, no estaba pagando por sus pecados, porque no tenía ninguno. Él estaba pagando por tu pecado y por mi pecado.
En el sufrimiento redentor, Dios toma el dolor y hace que el mundo sea mejor por lo que viviste. Dios dice: “No todo va a ser bueno en tu vida, pero puedo usarlo todo para el bien y hacerlo acoplar en mi plan, incluso las heridas, los pecados de otras personas, hasta cuando eres inocente y has sido herido por otros”.
Porque Dios es un Dios bueno, le gusta sacar lo bueno de lo malo. Cualquier persona puede sacar bien de lo bueno. Solamente Dios saca bien de lo malo.
Romanos 5:3 dice, “También nos alegramos al enfrentar pruebas y dificultades porque sabemos que nos ayudan a desarrollar resistencia” (NTV). Puedes ser feliz incluso en medio de la presión, las pruebas, los problemas y la tribulación. ¿Por qué? Fíjate en la frase “porque sabemos”. La felicidad en la vida depende de lo que sabes, no de lo que está pasando. Puedes poner a dos personas en las mismas circunstancias y una de ellas puede ser feliz mientras que la otra está devastada. ¿Por qué? Porque es lo que sabes lo que hace la diferencia.
Dios está mucho más interesado en tu carácter que en tu comodidad. Él quiere que crezcas más como Él mientras estés aquí en la tierra porque lo único que podrás llevar al cielo es quien tú eres. ¿Cómo Dios lo hace? A través de todos estos problemas y pruebas a los que te enfrentas. Puedes saber en medio de ellos que Él está desarrollando una paciencia persistente en ti y usará tu sufrimiento para tu bien y el bien de los demás.
Reflexiona sobre esto:
¿Has confiado en Jesús para tu salvación?
La Biblia dice que solo podemos llegar al cielo confiando en Dios a través de su Hijo Jesucristo y no tenemos que ganarnos el amor de Dios ni abrirnos camino hacia el cielo. La Biblia dice: “Porque por gracia ustedes han sido salvados mediante la fe; esto no procede de ustedes, sino que es el regalo de Dios, no por obras, para que nadie se jacte” Efesios 2:8-9 (NVI).
Si no has confiado en Jesús y te has comprometido a seguirlo, ¿por qué esperar más? Si estás listo para cruzar esa línea y tomar la decisión de creer en Jesucristo y seguirlo, ora con tu corazón lo siguiente:
“Querido Jesús, has prometido que si creo en ti, todo lo que he hecho mal será perdonado, aprenderé el propósito de mi vida y algún día me aceptarás en tu hogar eterno en el cielo”.
“Confieso mi pecado y creo que eres mi Salvador. Prometiste que si confieso mi pecado y confío en ti, seré salvo. Confío en ti cuando dices que la salvación viene por gracia, por medio de la fe, y no por lo que yo hago. Te recibo en mi vida como mi Señor. Hoy estoy entregando cada parte de mi vida para que tú la gobiernes. Tienes el derecho a tomar las decisiones en mi vida”.
“Jesús, quiero descansar en tu amor. Gracias porque no tengo que ganármelo ni trabajar para conseguirlo. Quiero usar el resto de mi vida para servirte a ti en lugar de servirme a mí mismo. Te entrego humildemente mi vida y te pido que me salves y me aceptes en tu familia. En tu Nombre Jesús oro. Amén”.

God Uses Your Mistakes for Good
“We know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, those whom he has called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28 (GNT)
Let’s face it. You and I do foolish things from time to time. We make mistakes.
But nothing you ever do is beyond the capacity for God to use. You may make mistakes, but God doesn’t.
The Bible says this in Romans 8:28: “We know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, those whom he has called according to his purpose” (GNT).
When you make a mistake, God says, “I can fit that in too. I can use it all for good.”
I want to be clear, though. This isn’t a promise for everyone. The Bible doesn’t say God works everything for good for those living in rebellion against him or for those who aren’t living for God’s purposes.
This promise is for people who come to God and say, “I want to live for your purpose. Even though I make mistakes, I want to do the right thing. I want to follow and trust you.” Do that, and God will take it all and use it for his good.
That’s a reason for joy.
When you put your life in God’s hands, it doesn’t mean you’ll never goof up again. You’ll still make bad decisions. You’ll still mess up. But God can fit it all into his plans.
There is no plan B for your life. Before you were born, God knew all the mistakes you’d make. He also knew how he’d fit those mistakes into his plan.
That means you can relax. You can stop being anxious. Do the best with what God has given you.
You can live in confidence and joy, knowing God will work everything in your life into his plan.

Dios Está Trabajando Todas Las Cosas Para Tu Bien
“Y sabemos que Dios hace que todas las cosas cooperen para el bien de quienes lo aman y son llamados según el propósito que él tiene para ellos”. Romanos 8:28 (NTV)
Dios es un Dios bueno, y Él tiene buenos planes para tu vida. Otras personas pueden tener planes malos para tu vida, también puedes tener algunos planes malos para ti mismo, pero Dios solo tiene buenos planes para tu vida.
No todo en tu vida puede ser bueno —Dios no prometió eso. Él nunca dijo que todo lo que te sucedería sería bueno. Amigo, vivimos en un planeta imperfecto. Nada funciona perfectamente. Tu cuerpo es imperfecto. No siempre funciona de la forma correcta. Tu mente es imperfecta. No siempre piensa de la forma correcta. El clima es imperfecto, la economía es imperfecta. Las relaciones son imperfectas. Nada es perfecto.
Dios no nos prometió perfección. ¡A eso se le llama cielo! donde no hay tristeza, pena, enfermedad ni sufrimiento. No debemos esperar que el cielo esté en la tierra, porque la tierra está llena de imperfección. Pero aún en medio de todo este quebrantamiento, Dios tiene un buen plan para tu vida. Él es más grande que tus malas decisiones, y Él puede corregir incluso la peor decisión en un buen plan. ¡Qué bueno es Dios! Él puede convertir las crucifixiones en resurrecciones.
La Biblia dice en Romanos 8:28, “Y sabemos que Dios hace que todas las cosas cooperen para el bien de quienes lo aman y son llamados según el propósito que él tiene para ellos” (NTV). Esto no es una promesa para todo el mundo. No todas las cosas cooperen para el bien de todos. Sino que todas las cosas cooperan para el bien de quienes dicen, “Dios, te doy mi vida, quiero cumplir el propósito para el cual me creaste”. No dice que todas las cosas sean buenas. Dice que todas las cosas cooperan para tu bien –incluso lo malo e incluso lo amargo.
¿Te has dado cuenta de que cuando horneas un pastel, los ingredientes individuales no saben bien? La harina por sí misma no sabe bien. Los huevos crudos no saben bien. La vainilla sola no sabe bien. Pero mezcla todo, y podrás crear una deliciosa pieza de arte.
Cuando permites que Dios trabaje con todos los “ingredientes” juntos, Dios puede tomar la amargura, ponerla en la masa, y hacerte mejor. ¿Por qué? Porque Él es un Dios bueno.
Entre más ores, mejor vas a conocer tu propósito. Y entre mejor conozcas tu propósito, Dios va a usar todo en tu vida –incluso la amargura y las cosas imperfectas.

God’s Love Changes Everything
“I love you with an everlasting love.”
Jeremiah 31:3 (GW)
Nothing you’ve ever done or will ever do can stop God from loving you. God said in Jeremiah 31:3, “I love you with an everlasting love” (GW).
Do you know how long everlasting is?
It’s forever. You can’t make God stop loving you; he will love you forever. His love isn’t based on what you do. It’s based on who he is. The only reason you’re alive is because God made you to love you.
That’s why God sent his Son: “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16 NLT).
God wants you to know his love. Even more, he wants you to feel his love.
God’s love will transform you when you feel it. It turns somebody who is hateful, bigoted, or racist into a kind, gentle, and loving person. When God’s love hits your heart, it changes you.
If your life hasn’t changed, then you don’t know God. You can’t have somebody as big as God come into your life and not be changed by it.
When God’s love comes into your life, it changes how you react to everyone else. When you truly understand and experience the love of God, you can’t help but pass it on to others.
In fact, Jesus described it like this: “I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you must also love one another. By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:34-35 HCSB).
But it starts with God’s love for us.
The most amazing conversion in the Bible is of a guy named Saul, who was a religious extremist that killed Christians. One day, on his way to Damascus, he encountered the resurrected Jesus.
Jesus said to Saul, “Why are you persecuting me?”
Saul fell to his knees and said, “My Lord and my God.”
The man who had once been a religious extremist became the apostle of love. Saul, now known as Paul, wrote most of the New Testament, including some of the most beautiful words on love ever written, 1 Corinthians 13.
The everlasting, completely free love of God will do that. It changes lives.
