Teaser Two-A Voice for my Soul to Sing

Here is another teaser with the release right around the corner! If you haven't read The Mermaid and her King first, pick it up at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, iTunes or Kobo.

Brooke's POV:

“When you’re truly loved, you’re not tossed aside because of minor flaws. We all have them, but what concerns me is that you don’t see your beauty. I’m not only talking about the outside, Brooke. I’m talking about your heart. It’s so sweet.” He presses his palm over my hammering chest.
“We may not have minty fresh breath anymore, but I’m kissing you.” His lips are on mine, his tongue finding its way in. I still taste mint and smell his clean scent.
My body is defying me, yearning for his hands to explore every last inch of it. I pull my lips from his. “No, Eric.”
“Yes, Brooke,” he says, whispering in my ear before his lips are on my neck, exploring their way down. His warm, wet mouth on my skin causes an exhilarating sensation that I can’t resist, so I give in, running my hands up under the front of his shirt, trailing my fingers along the defined lines of his abs.
He groans as he picks me up and sets me on top of the table. My legs wrap around him, and my fingers go into his twisted mess of hair. Our hands have traded places, his gliding up under my tank top. I’m weak. If I was strong, I could tell him we have to wait. I let him go.
“I can’t do this while I’m weak. We’ll go too far. I have to be stronger first.”
“Dammit, Brooke, you are strong. I’m strong. You know why? I’m taking what I want, what belongs not to me but with me. That’s you. You’re taking what you want, too, and don’t even tell me you’re not because you wouldn’t have let anything happen between us if this wasn’t what you wanted. I can say I’m not stopping when you tell me to because I know you don’t mean it.”
I scrunch my forehead at him. “Your mouth is making me crazy, Eric, in more ways than one.” He’s so frustrating with his honesty and forwardness.
“I’m glad you like it. I thinks it’s coming in handy right about now.” His lips capture mine again, and I’m reduced to a puddle of desire. He’s stomping in it, splashing it everywhere, and I’m letting him. He’s right. I’m letting him because I want him to.

Blurb Time-A Voice for my Soul to Sing

Synopsis:

Eric Matthews hasn’t been able to get Brooke Ward out of his mind since he met her six months ago when she flew to Oahu, Hawaii to help their mutual friends, Skyla and Chase, through a crisis. He named her “heaven” as soon as their eyes met, and he can’t shake the desire to be with her. The problem is, Brooke Ward has a boyfriend. She’s very much under his controlling hold, and Eric would like nothing more than to get her away from him.
An opportunity arises for Eric to fly to San Diego, where Brooke lives. Obligated to go to dinner with her Boyfriend Rob, and her, Eric discovers that Rob is treating her worse than he suspected. He spends the remainder of his trip convincing Brooke she should break-up with him and move to Hawaii. When she gains the courage to leave Rob, he appears and threatens to withhold information she needs to find the older brother who she was separated from as a child, if she refuses to take him back. Brooke’s torn between hurting Eric and losing a chance at finding her only sibling.
Returning to Oahu, Hawaii, to be in Skyla and Chase’s wedding, Brooke tries to reconnect with Eric, but he’s brokenhearted and wants no part of being close to her until devastating news for Brooke puts her right into his arms. Eric decides she’s worth the effort to show being controlled isn’t really living.
He works diligently to prove to Brooke she’s worthy of love and respect, teaching her to go after what she wants through a string of adventures and his so called “intense motivational touch therapy.” Will she find her brother? Will Eric succeed at helping Brooke discover her voice? Find out if they get more than they bargained for in this touching story about love, friendship, and the true meaning of family, but most importantly, about the value of self-worth.

This novel is for mature audiences due to harsh language and descriptive sex scenes.

Cover Reveal Date and Future Release Info

A Voice for my Soul to Sing cover reveal will be this coming Saturday, November 2nd. The release date for this novel is set for November 20th! Check back Saturday to see this cover that coordinates beautifully with The Mermaid and her King.

I'm working very hard to get Matt and Morgan out a month early. I'm hopeful to release it around December 26th!

In 2014, I will be putting out a stand alone novel around Valentine's Day. Also for next year, I will be releasing novels for the first time in the following genre's: teen, adult, and erotica romance. The Soul Mates 101 series will continue with Nate and Tory, and I'm also working on the prequel to A Week for Love to Bloom, Jonathan and Emily's story. Whoo! That's a lot, but I love it and will work hard to deliver! I appreciate all of the support I'm receiving, and I hope you'll stick along for the ride!

Happy Reading,
Scarlet

Snippet from Matt and Morgan

DO NOT read the snippet below unless you've read Dylan and Taylor. I don't want to spoil it for you. The following is a teaser from Matt and Morgan (Soul Mates 101 series, Book 4), due to be released late December. It gives away something big but leaves plenty to ponder!

Morgan's point of view:
Matt rises from his chair and approaches me. I peer up at him as he takes hold of my shoulders, his touch causing my heart to flutter. What could he possibly have to say about this? His raven eyes that invariably obscure any emotion gaze down at me, but the radiant sunlight reveals the tears cleansing them. They’re not falling, but unbeknownst to him, they’re visible … glistening with the truth. This news affected him. He kisses my forehead before he rests his temple against mine, his mouth hovering near my ear.
“I’m so relieved it’s not you, Morgan. I couldn’t take you having J.T.’s baby.” He lets me go, and I stand frozen, hearing the door shut behind me. I could’ve been pregnant with J.T.’s baby. It never even crossed my mind, and to think Matt worried all this time that it was me.
