Space Puffs Fit for Terran Consumption
The space puffs featured in Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD season 6 episode3 “Fear and Loathing on the Planet of Kitson” are not for Terran consumption, as Enoch says. Certainly not on an empty stomach.
So, of course, I couldn’t resist making some.
Space puffs look like meringue cookies to me. And they happen to be in fun Mardi Gras colours, so they’re perfect for making right now.
Meringue cookies only require a few ingredients (egg whites, sugar, cream of tartar, salt, vanilla and food colouring) b...

Catching Up with Marvel's Agents of SHIELD
We’ve been happily binging on episodes of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, picking up where we left off. I think we stopped watching around the end of season 3, when we cancelled cable television, so we were excited to see all episodes now available on Disney+.

Peanut Butter Haystacks
I loved these haystacks when I was a kid, so I included them in this year’s Christmas cookie tray.
And I made sure I had enough ingredients to make them again in the post-Christmas weeks.
Recipe from All Recipes and super easy to make with only 4 ingredients.
When we ran out of peanut butter, I made them with cashew butter and they were just as delicious.

...January's Projects
With the cold and snow and COVID-19 lockdown, I’ve been keeping busy with writing, oil painting and knitting. The cowl is finally complete. If you read my blog, you might recognize it as the one I unravelled at least four times. It’s finally finished.
How are you keeping busy?

New Story! For Members Only!
I’ve created a secret area on my website with exclusive content. I’ve already posted a Christmas excerpt from my forthcoming novel, WINTERSTRUCK. I’ve also posted a couple of short stories that star the same character, Julia Ivory, with more stories to come. And weekly I’ll be posting chapters as I edit them from a whole new series. This is a space opera novel with an urban fantasy feel, featuring an all-girl crew and ship thieving. (A better description can be found below.
