What’s Up Wednesday 15

What I’m Reading

I recently finished RELIC by Renee Collins, and it was fantabulous. I wish I’d read this book sooner. I haven’t enjoyed a Western this much in YEARS. This is no typical Western though. This is a re-imagined world where the bones of extinct magical creatures such as dragons and fairies can be excavated in much the same way we do dinosaur skeletons. A Chat About Setting

Last night, I hosted our first OneFour Kidlit twitter chat. It was so much fun, and thank you to everyone who showed up! The topic of the evening was setting, and in the course of the hour, there were some brilliant gems of advice that went zooming past in the twitter stream.

New website and blog!

When I've poked my head out of the writing cave, I've been working on my new website, and it's finally here! Yay!

This will be my last "official" post on this blog, which is kind of unfortunate because I am literally 800 views away from hitting 100k pageviews. And now I've gone and switched blogs. *shakes head*

If you'd like, please follow me over on the new blog! *hugs*

Welcome to the new website!

I finally got around to rebuilding my website via wordpress, and I’m quite happy with it for the time being. I tend to change my mind a lot. Also, you may notice that the website has an excess of unicorns. I couldn’t help myself.

If you’re inclined, please poke around and let me know if I’ve missed any broken links and/or something shows up funny for you.

OR if something was particularly bothersome to locate, please let me know as well.

Thanks all! And don’t forget abou...
