It’s Day 16 and I’m Grateful that Mercy Triumphs
It’s the 16th day of 30 Days of Thankfulness. I’m relishingthe notes of gratitude I see myfamily and friends posting here, there, andeverywhereand Ilove stumbling upon the words ofgratefulstrangers. Sweet, funny, poignant words, letters fromour laptops, strung togetheron our keyboards. When I see them, I hear James.I can’t help it. An Open Letter to Both Sides of the Fence on this 7th Morning of 30 Days of Thankfulness
A wise person once said thatfences make good neighbors and surely there’sa lot oftruth in the adage, but perhaps it’d be wiser if weremembered thatgates make friends. I respectfully offer three thoughts for all of usthat could build a few aswe move forward.
Please be gracious in victory. A divided nation needs it.
I didn’t vote with you but I’ll look for every opportunity to unite with you.
Don’t try to convince me why you were right, put your hand to the plow and prove it...
