Feeling like this, EXHAUSTED, elated, and for the first time in...

Feeling like this, EXHAUSTED, elated, and for the first time in a long time, looking forward with something that feels like a comfort I didn’t know just how deeply I was missing. I am hopeful, I am excited to start bridging divides and learning from those who think different than I do, but showing them that some things are unalienable and always worth fighting for. I am hopeful for a future where love will grow and spread, I am proud of a nation that finally, FINALLY, acted on the truth that women are fierce and born to be leaders in a way men spend their life trying to emulate. I am so tired, but so thankful for an America filled with such beautiful diversity, such incredible courage, such life that it seeps out like joy in every corner of it. Forward, forward we must go into the work that must be done, giving kindness away freely, being patient, being tender, being filled with life. (at Helena, Montana)

Handfasted, bound, promised and united. Bled together, you and...

Handfasted, bound, promised and united. Bled together, you and I, tradition some called pagan, called brutal or archaic, but we bled together and I felt it when we did. I feel your heart beating inside my chest now, I feel your breath in my lungs. Can you feel me when excited, when scared, when elated to be alive? One thing, we, blood pumping through one vein, into one heart.

I still have the scar
from when our blood tangled up
and shared just one vein.

I remember times I’ve been lonelier than I ever thought...

I remember times I’ve been lonelier than I ever thought possible, I remember being alone, eating in dark rooms, going to sleep with the television on just to make believe there was someone else in the room. I remember thinking I’d always be that way. This seed line from Typewriter Series #3064 is about how it took looking away, to finally find the shine. It was a custom poem written for someone who felt this, long they felt it, until they too found peace. If you are waiting, for the same relief, it will come. I promise. To read the full poem sign up for the newsletter, it’s free, but there’s also a rad, cheap as hell, paid option where you get direct access to me and an amazing community of light chasers, and some sweet extras along the way. http://tylerknott.substack.com . Let us rise like mist, like sea fog under storm, let us lift...

Let us rise like mist, like sea fog under storm, let us lift together and become one thing, one triumphant thing before spilling out again. Let us transform into one another, find our similarities in a world of difference, and stick together through the winds. Let us rise like steam, let us evaporate and fall.
.
You infused in me,
into you I condensate
then evaporate.

A reminder to those feeling lost, lonely, alone, and...

A reminder to those feeling lost, lonely, alone, and waiting…you will find what you’re seeking, and all that’s seeking you will find you, too. Believe it or no, the happiness you deserve is coming, more than you thought you could hold. It’s coming. I swear.
.
Did I stare through years
to see you stand beside me?
I knew this would come.

Scary day today, heartbreaking in a multitude of ways. Watching so many say with proud voice they are ok with the last four years, that they are wanting four more, is eye opening and shattering. I am at a loss, of words, of understanding, for how this is the United States I call home. I just know we have so much work to do. So much work. Keep hoping, keep giving your hearts away, keep believing.

Leave it where it fell,
let it stain the snow bright red.
It belongs to you.
