"On my shoulder rest,
for I know you are weary,
I know you’re broken."
for I know you are weary,
I know you’re broken.”

What, in a year of chaos and strife, is quiet to you? What is...

What, in a year of chaos and strife, is quiet to you? What is the solace you can turn to? What is peace? Sound off.
.
Bathe me in quiet,
sweet soundless serenity.
Let me hear nothing.

Tall tales speak of my newsletter as a giant man, 2000 feet tall, that used redwood trees to ski, and formed the Great Lakes with his footsteps. No relation to that shrimp Paul Bunyan. Sign up to find out. Link in the bio. (at Wild Atlantic Way County Clare)

Take away all the extras and make today be about what it should...

Take away all the extras and make today be about what it should be about. Giving thanks for the things we have, the life we are still living despite it all. I am thankful for health, for happiness despite so many reasons to be sad, for a wife that sets my life aflame and makes all things magic. What are you thankful for today?
.
Give and give again,
take from me all that you need.
I’ll never run out.

Nothing hurts like watching someone you love hurt. Nothing aches...

Nothing hurts like watching someone you love hurt. Nothing aches that way, and we have to understand we cannot fix it, but just be there to soothe. What a lesson.

I know you’re broken.

Whispers in the hallways said that my newsletter kisses on the first date at the movies, but restricts it to only first base because it respects itself and the filmmakers that worked so hard. Link in bio to sign up! (at Helena, Montana)

For me, winter carries sadness on its back. Always has, and it...

For me, winter carries sadness on its back. Always has, and it plants it in me, deep, and I always struggle to shake it off. Does it for you? Is it the snow, is it the cold, is it the dark? Who else feels the same?
.
Forth comes the snowfall,
the frozen clouds and darkness,
and with it sadness.

Writing for me is therapy, it’s escape, it’s ritual, it’s home....

Writing for me is therapy, it’s escape, it’s ritual, it’s home. It’s the habit I have turned to since I was 9 years old to calm my Autism and slow my mind. What is your escape? What is your therapy?
.
I write so I breathe,
and as long as I’m breathing
I will be writing.

did you come to set me free?
Am I worth it all?"

Am I worth it all?”
